The yellowing seems to be getting worse. I increased my nutrients yesterday to 700 ppm. Maybe I am impatient but it doesn’t seem like they’re growing very much. When do they start growing like weeds?
Here comes a new week. Compared to a lot of photos of other grows, my guys haven’t grown very much. I increased the light distance to 30” and started feeding 250ppm and they look good(I think). Hopefully they’ll be on the right track soon enough.
Things are looking good. Growth has resumed. I’m afraid to even looking at them in the risk of stunting them. I topped them last week and I’m not entirely sure how I wan them to grow. I’ve been looking up videos on main lining but I think that’s a little to advanced for me. Or should I topped them again, idk. Anyone have any ideas?
Growth is great. One of them is curling upward. I did try to move the light a little closer. Other than that, things are great. I’m gonna transplant them to a 3 or 4 gallon pots. Happy growing!!
Plants are looking better by the week. My plan was to transition into flower but I wanna see how big they’ll get in the next 2 weeks. My HID lights are on its way and I’m very excited.
Some brown spot popped up on my plant. I just got my HID in and I put it up and set it 400w. Each week I’m gonna dual it up until I get to 600w. Then I’m going in to flower. At least that’s how I think bun suppose to do it. What do you guys think? And the brown spots were there before I put up the light.
This week I cranked up the lights and I will switching to 12/12 by next week. I really wanted them to be a little bit bigger. But I’ll be able to do better on the next grow which I started already and will be posting soon. For now I have a question. How high can I put a 600w hps over the plants. Happy Growing!!
Mostly bud development. It’s been a crazy week with work in this freezing weather. I’m gonna wait until next week to start the nutes. Happy New Year!
Jan 4- CNS17 bloom + cal-mag plant #3 and #1
Seeing buds thicken up. No frost just yet. I started nutes on 2 plants.
Dec 8: Cal-mag + CNS17 bloom
Plant #9,8,4
Dec 9: cal-mag + CNS17 bloom
Plant # 6
Can’t wait till the bus start to really thicken up. I’m thinking about getting CNS17 ripe but according to the label you only apply before the flush. Other than that things have been good.
Jan 21- CNS17 bloom + cal-mag plus
Unlabeled plant.
I skipped a week due to a busy schedule. I’m gonna start flushing. Some plants have bigger buds than other but I wanna make room for my Original Skunk #1. Thanks for all the likes guys!!
Btw, I’m using the iPhone and I can’t scroll down when in the edit week page. Anyone know what’s up?
@Mr_Di, yes it does look like a heat stress. I have stopped on this diary but as it is just one leave on one plant it could probably be just a lil variation in the environment. Nothing to be worried about if it stops.
@SamiGreen87,
Hi mate! See VDP chart of @JUNGLE_B4RNS. When problem is hot temp you can see all blade of leaf curling up, like blunt! In this case i think is VDP or wrong air flow on her...finger crossed for you!!
@SamiGreen87,when the plants gets to a certain size.
Usually you end Veg when your plants are half size than you would like them to be at the end of flowering. Technically you end Veg when your room/tent is half full, as they grow twice in size when they stretch. Just imagine how they would look like if they were twice bigger, most important thing is, would you have enough space between your lights and the top of the plants 😉
It looks like you have over watered this plant.. also 700ppm is very high at this point.. 150-300 is all she needs currently..
Is this your only plant?
It is under a 400w MH now?
If so that light should be 40-50" away probabally..
She is going to have to recover.. expect 10-14 days for that your gonna have to be pacient..
My guess... too much water or watering to often, and too much light..
Back off both and be pacient
Hope this helps
@SamiGreen87,
Glad to hear, now measure the distance weekly and document that
Also get a weekly canopy shot so you can start to relate total canopy size to how close/far or what light you need.
Also, just cut off that sick growth in the bottom... your never gonna use it anyway and it's gonna attract bugs
So it continues... 🤔
What light are you using ? How far is it from the plant ?
Not really sure it’s a light heat stress , it happens on the top leaves usually.
It would be great if you could tell what is the amount of ppm/EC from the drain , and pH level ?
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, The distance was 30 inches from the plant. I tried putting the light closer to see if the plant react positively. They didn’t. After a week I noticed some discoloration on the leaves. I put it back to 30 inches. I’m just gonna stick to that distance.
Your pic that your tring to figure out "what this is"
Partly looks like some overwatering.. the bent up leaf.....???? Who knows... general shock?? Just keep your hands off her and let her settle in and get your dry/water time down she will bounce back
The plants are looking much much better today 👍🏻
Your grow is looking killer. Nice and healthy. Nice job! I just ordered some recharge and would be interested to here how you have incorporated this product into your feeding regimen. Thanks in advance. - Zannabis7
Looking good, the first grow is always soooo exciting, looks like your doing well for you Maiden voyage, welcome to the growers club
I'll be checking back w ya :)
