No couch lock or munchies, just a nice cerebral high
I produced 2 kinds of bud from the same genetics, one dense and earthy the other airy and sweet in flavor both with the same buzz
Happy with the northern lights, one more pungent and one smelling and tasting sweet, NL#1 had much more lowers and trim, they both put out about the same amount of weight, with NL#2 yielding more dense buds I did not weigh my limbs before drying.
Not counted above is 1 1/4 ounce of lowers and trim from NL#1 and 3/4 ounce of trim/lowers from NL#2. Total weight of usable material was 7 ounces together.
If not for NL#1 giveing off such a sweet aroma and taste then I would say this strain is average, but since one plant is sweet like candy I would consider growing it again.
@Vincent11, first grow, I let them go much longer than the lifespan given by the banks but ultimately I took them by checking them for amber on the sugar leaves, the northern lights I took when there was only 10%ish amber 2 days apart and the pineapple I took at twice that, I was looking for the lighter end of the indica spectrum and the heavier end of the pineapple express, that's just what I got but I'm sure there was a lot of room for improvement, in future grows I hope to publish with time for input from others, this grow already had too many variables being my first.
