Barney’s Farm LSD auto

The seedlings sprouted this week. Unfortunately for them a heat wave and Santa Ana winds hit this week too causing hot dry days. It’s been great for the surf but not for the humidity and temps in the tent. The temps really haven’t gotten too high, I saw it at 83 at one point yesterday but that’s the highest. The humidity though has been down in the 20-30s. I have clear solo cups over the seedlings so hopefully that keeps the humidity higher around them. I just ordered a small humidifier for the tent as the forecast shows low humidity for the next week. My 1month northern lights auto is in the same tent and is taking the dryness pretty well but it still just needs to come up. I’m watering 10-20ml of ph’d water every few days and misting once or twice a day. All girls seem to be strong plants. Excited to see how these go.

the plants started to grow this week. Plant #2 in the solo cup has shown the fastest and biggest growth. Plant #3 in the 1.5gal pot is close behind. Plant #1 in the 3gal fabric is slightly behind the other 2. The plants received their first feeding this week as well. They got 1/8 strength Grow Big and some Worm Tea I got at the local Hydro Store. At the end of the week I transplanted #2 into a 3gal fabric pot. I think she’s gonna like the extra space.

They got bigger this week. Not too much vertically (1 or 2 nodes) but just bigger overall. They started to give off a nice skunk smell. Starting to LST plants 2 and 3, the bigger plants. #1 isn’t quite ready yet. Heading out on a 4 day trip tomorrow morning. Hope they do well while I’m gone.

I was in Yosemite the first few days of the week. I watered the plants before I left with 1/4 strength Grow Big and when I came back they had definitely grown. Adjusted LST throughout the week. Moved plants to their own 2x2x4. It was getting too crowded in the other one with the flowering northern lights.

This week has been a good week of training and growth. Did some defoliation of Lower big fan leaves and LST on all plants. Started noticing what looks like a magnesium deficiency in plant #3. Most likely from being in a small pot and going through the nutrients in the soil faster than the others. Anyways I just started adding 3ml/gal of Cal-Mag. I'm going to start out giving it every other watering. Should I give it every watering or every other? Also plants 1&2 have started pre-flower. I spotted some white hairs on the main stem of each.

All plants started preflowering this week. Plant #2 started preflowering first and is the furthest ahead. #1 is right behind it and #3 was the last to show sex and is also the smallest plant now, Most likely because she is in a smaller pot than the other plants. I will be starting to add in bloom nutes next week

Plants are doing good. This week they have been stretching up a few inches. #2 is the furthest ahead. She has some pretty flowers going. The other 2 are showing more pistils but don’t have many or any real flowers yet. #1 is close. For nutrients I gave 1/8 grow big 1/8 tiger bloom and cal mag. Did some light defoliating and a little bit of LST. I think I’m done adding to the LST and will let them do their thing now. I was hoping they would be a little further ahead of where they are now. I’m getting nervous because I have to harvest them at 12 1/2 weeks the latest in order to have time to dry and trim them before I leave the country for work for a month at the end of January. Do you guys think that will be enough time for these ladies. I know it’s hard to predict but I’m just being worrisome. Anyways they are looking great and I have a Spider Farmer sf1000 arriving today so they’re gonna have a nice new bright light.

Plants were all doing well this week. Still growing taller. Plant #2 is starting to pack on some buds. Also #2 seems to be a different pheno than the others. She has darker leaves and did start flowering quite ahead of the others. #1 is now the tallest girl at 16”. #3 is kind of my favorite. She’s like a little Bonzai Tree.

Plants have slowed vertical growth and starting to work on their buds. #2 is furthest ahead with #3 behind it. #1 is the biggest plant but the least mature. #3 has had some leaves changing purple. Most likely from night time temps.

Buds are filling in on plants. #1 looks to be a week behind the other two plants. Up'ed the Tiger Bloom to 1/2 strength every other watering. I lowered the light to 12" about the canopy.

Buds are fattening up. Plant #1 is looking like it is going to produce some big buds. #3 is turning dark purple and frosty. It looks like it’s a few days behind #2. #2 is looking like I need to start checking the trichomes to see if it’s ready to flush.

Plant #1 is putting on some weight! Plant #2 is starting her flush today (day 84) Plant #3 will begin hers in a few more days. Plant 1 looks like she has another 2-3 weeks left in her. Watering every other day now.

Started flush on plant #3. Harvested plant #2 on day 91. Trichomes were all cloudy. Plant #1 is going strong and fattening up. She’s a thirsty one too, watering every other day.

Busy week for me. Finished drying plant #2, trimmed and put it in jars to cure. Harvested plant #3, dried, trimmed and put in jars to cure. Now the only plant left is Plant #1, the biggest/ slowest of the 3. I left for India for work for 3 weeks so my roommate will be feeding her while I'm gone. The trichomes on plant #1 were still all clear the day before I left so I think when I return in 3 weeks she will be ready to harvest. Hopefully there won't be too many amber trichomes. The buds on her are getting fat. the buds on the side branches are stacking and are bigger than the main colas on the other 2 plants that I already harvested. Im excited to see how she looks upon my return. Hopefully my roommate doesn't mess it up somehow but I left him very detailed instructions and feeding schedule as well as premixing the nutrients in gallon jugs. I've smoked a sample from both plant #2 and #3 and oh man, it hits you hard with a strong head high. Cant wait to try them again after a proper cure.

On assignment in India. My roommate is taking care of my remaining LSD plant. (plant #1) I left a very detailed feeding schedule and premixed nutrients. This week she was getting 1/2 strength Tiger Bloom + Cal-mag. He didn't send me any photos this week but he says its still alive hahaha so I attached a few photos I've taken around Goa, India. haha Enjoy.

Second week of being gone. Received one photo this week. She is looking fat and starting to get her fade on. She received her last feedings of Tiger Bloom and Calmag this week and started the final flush. Im going to Harvest her as soon as I get home on the last day of week 17.

Got 1.5 ounces out of plants 2 & 3 combined. I was hoping for more from plant #2 but oh well, Still happy with the final products of the two. #3 definitely has the best smell. Super stinky. I will update more once Plant #1 is dried. She Was a Beast! My roommate watered her for the last three weeks while I was working on a job out of the country. I was so happy when I returned to a plant with Huge, swollen, dense, sticky buds just waiting to be harvested. So happy with Plant #1. I always knew she was going to be the biggest. I'm hoping to get double of the other two combined out of her. I've got the Herbs Now dryer loaded up so I will have a final weight in 4 to 5 days! Final weight of plant #1 was 2.5 ounces bringing the total of all three plants to 4 ounces! Again, Super happy with this run. These plants turned out great and I am happy with the yield. I would grow this strain again! Smoke Report: 2/17 : I've been smoking this strain for the past few days since getting back from India. I have to say I love it! Its a super smooth smoke and hits me hard with a strong head high right off the bat. I find I space out for a bit pondering some life shit then snap out of it and get super inspired to do something creative. Luckily I just returned from a long trip and have plenty of editing work to do. After the initial head high which lasts a fair amount of time (maybe my tolerance went down in the 3 weeks I was gone) I'm left feeling mellow and maybe time to eat some lunch.
