Just like many cannabis genetic manipulation, this would probably take a crap ton of time, but I don't see why it couldn't be possible to acclimate cannabis to new environments with different light cycles. Again, it just may take awhile to do, lol. If you were able to create a single landrace strain in a different cycle, it could be used to breed into "normal" strains repeatedly until they start to blend characteristics...this is all theory... And now you have my wheels spinning.
I personally think the 28/10 might work because it's a long enough night cycle to induce flower whereas the 24/6 may not (photo period plants). I just don't know how it would grow, but would be worth an experimental go. I have some genetics I personally don't need/want and could take one, throw it in my 2x2x3 and see what happens. Would have to do it after this current grow, just to keep it legal though. Don't feel like a knock on my door, even if it is just one additional plant.
Anyways, neat thought experiment. Ill Google around and if I see someone doing this I'll catch you in PM with the link. Have a good day my Canadian fellow. Cheers
