I was debating taking a break on these FB strains and run some photoperiods but when I saw this strain I said why not one more. She will be growing co-jointly with six shooter. Let this grow begin, for a change I'll be growing in coco at a PH 5.8 with botanicare Veg/Bloom with some rhizo blast then week 3-6 of flower we'll hit her up with some Nirvana from Advance. No topping this round simply LST at week 3.
Starting some LST, very difficult as the nods are closely together. I could raise the lights but we’ll keep going.
I only filled 2/3 of a 5 gallon fabric pot. I thought both autos would have stretched out but I guess not and the fan leave have extended beyond the edges of the pots. She is also very bushy nods are very close together. I will let her stretch this week and LST if required.
No training has been done to this girl. Only thing I can control is the height of the light which is currently at 24”. She started showing slight tip burn. I’ll have to start mixing separately now from the 6 shooter feed as she seems more sensitive and requires less PPMs. Next feed will be lowered to 500-600ppms. She is showing no signs of pre-flower but lower nodes are trying to stretch out from under the extremely dense canopy. The leaves are massive and very Indica prominent, the exact opposite of her roommate.
She did stretch some bit but maintained her bushyness status. This things is a real shrub and now showing signs of transitioning from veg to flow. All pocs are from day 35.
I will give her a week of stretch and will then defoliate and LST as early as possible because very little little penetration is happening for the day nods below the canopy.
Day 37 - Slight stretch allowed be to pull down the top and allow other heads to obtain more light.
Day 39 - Finally defoliated to allow air flow and space for the bud sites to eventually stretch upward in order to LST hopefully at the latest after this weekend. I’m not worried as she only started showing signs of pistils recently, give or take a week.
Day 42 - End week - see Week 7 as a result of defoliation and LST
All pics are from Day 42/start of week 7.
As you can see she received some defoliation and some serious LST. She is very dense and until the stems harden I will continue to pull the branches outwards. She will resemble the Zkittlez I ran this summer. Can’t wait to see the results.
Back half of pictures are from Day 49 end of week 7. All leaves grew immensely I needed to defoliate once again. Last major defoliation.
End of week 7 marked the last training to be done with this girl. Going forward I will only remove fan leave here and there as she is extremely dense in foliage.
Slight tip burn is noticeable therefore she will receive 600 ppm feeding for the next 3 feeds as the following 3 weeks will be crucial. I do not run RO so once procal is added I’m already at 350 ish ppms. I find if I follow the botanicare recommending dosage the ppms just from 350 to 950+ instantly. That does not account with the additives that I find are valuable like the Liquid Weight for added carbohydrates.
End week 8 not much change other than the buds fluffing up. There has been some stretch maybe an inch or so. She is done growing and the buds should be bulking for the next 3 weeks 😉
Hey ya’ll this thing is smelling AMAZING!! @fastbuds good job on this genetic, home run!!
I can see this one going at least 13 weeks when I include the flush. The Nirvana will be cut out this week as the product is only used from week 3-6 of flower.
Another week to go about 3 watering with runoff I usually do for a complete flush which can take around 9 days. She is smelling good, still a while before testing unfortunately.
I expected more from it's structure but overall it's alright. I would grow but with less LST as she has way to bushy therefore lower nodes couldn't access light. Recommended strain for Indica lovers. Bud density is alright but not great, very leafy structure but quite easy to trim. Purple and pink hues not uncommon for a strain deriving from GSC.
