RQS OG Kush | Coco ScrOG

Mon. She was gently placed in the coco just under and inch below the top soil, now the wait, I wonder if this one will try to grow against gravity? Tue. Nothing. Literally nothing. Wed. Upon sprouting of the cotyledon I will be adding little amounts of Canna A+B until it makes the full feed amount. I will start with 0.3mls. Sat. Still not to much happening, but it won't be long before she begins to grow at a nice pace.

Mon. I need to find the dome for humidity control, I've made sure to have the CO2 green bags activated so the heat doesn't overly hurt her. Wed. She seems to show less signs of heat stress while the temps read the same at a blistering 27-29°C...Will need to get a rotation of frozen bottles going if it starts getting to warm. Sat. Very warm days but look at how the growth is doubling!

Tue. The growth is insane right now! I hope I can repot her soon, getting pots is...awkward. Fri. The temperatures are stabilising now that the normal outside climate has returned probably briefly.

Mon. With the growth being fairly dramatic and new leaves appearing between the nodes so quickly I topped her today. Gave her an extra serving of 1ml of Canna Rhizotonic and 1ml of Canna Boost Accelerator. Hopes are that she recovers fast. Tue. Well the under branches have exploded out and up so I don't think she noticed the topping too much. Wed. I pinched the lowest of the branches so they have a little extra support. Sat. She's starting to grow a little weird.

Mon. Started light LST and I may remove the largest fan leaves to allow the under branches more direct light access. Not mention room, will remove the baby lettuce look though... tough choices. Wed. Took the two largest leaves to stop it suffocating while it grows. Fri. Ran out of Rhizotonic today, so hopefully she will be alright with Root•Juice.

Mon. I will be switching her to 12/12 next week. I will be using a mixture of Bio•Heaven and Root•Juice as the Rhizotonic alternative as I ran out... Tue. Created a scrog net out of an old net I used last summer to make a ghillie suit and used the green bendy ties to hold it in place. Let's see how effective it is. Forgot to mention I also took two branches one yesterday and one today. One small branch growing between the top most branches and one going limp in the under brush. I will trim the large leaves down tomorrow. Note I will change the pot by next week if I can and flower a week later. Otherwise I'll just go next week and try other things with her clones on a new diary. Thur. Starting watering her at night and feeding her in the morning instead of just feed in the morning, she's starting to use all the water available in the coco by midday, the overly warm weather doesn't help... temps as high as 34°C in there, though the two CO2 bags seem to help. Sat. Transplanted very late in the week but it should be alright. Gave her a healthy feeding of 2mls of Root•Juice and Bio•Heaven to help her out. Don't fail me now BioBizz! 7:44pm. She just doesn't seem to care. She looked taller and stronger so I decided to LST her to the pot this was at 1pm. She's just trucking along seemingly. Wait for it, 3 weeks of nothing but struggle now. 😅🤣😅 Note: I will transplant for the 3rd/5th week on my next plants. No more 2ltr grows! My hope is to get as close to 500gs for the dry harvest to beat last grows 500gs wet harvest should be easy with the new pot. Sun. Well this week went by just fine and she seems to be perfectly comfortable in the new pot. I will be giving her a feeding tonight of Root•Juice and Bio•Heaven with some CalMag. I will switch to 12/12 next week as she doesn't seem to be in shock.

*Diary age reflects plants age and not directly the switch to flowering schedule. Mon. Since she didn't seem to suffer any transplant shock I decided to start her flowering light schedule, she's showing pre-flowers and has done for a bit now. In the future I will be transplanting all future grows sooner at or between the 3rd and 5th week. Tue. The scrog net was moved to it's permanent height 1 inch above the plant from its current height so photos will be kinda poor until buds are fully forming. Thur. She's starting to stretch quite heavily on the smaller branches and taking her time to grow the main branches. Sat. The next time I try a ScrOG I will focus on making the plant symmetrical as I didn't have a set pattern to grow this plant, I'm just winging it...maybe main-lining it before the Scrog net?

Mon. This week is being started off with a day flush to prevent nute burn, I will start pruning the lower canopy leaves tomorrow. Wed. Trimmed a few leaves down yesterday and I will do the same Friday.

Mon. Nice and easy week hopefully, final stretch inbound. Wed. Trimming a large portion of lower leaves layer tonight. Fri. I am using a half Lollipopping and half defoliation technique to clear some of the mess that was the underbrush Sat. The extraction fan decided to almost stop working entirely. Not like it was working when it should have been anyway...her buds are looking great and I will continue the Lollipopping of the lowest bud sites until Sunday. Few bits at a time then feed.

Mon. No more touching the buds now. Just some fine fan leaf clearing spread thinly over the next 5-6 weeks. Tue. I will continue trimming the leaves back slowly until all buds are clear while also keeping her from growing new branches down low like she has been. Fri. Can I use a neem oil topical treatment while she's flowering? Just not before harvest?

Mon. Very dry substrate the last few mornings. Gonna have to water her extra in the mornings... Wed. There was a lot of new growth under the leaf line so I cleared it, it would have lead to nothing more then wasted energy/potential and popcorn buds. I know it's a tad later into the flowering stage then normal for clearing but I fed her an extra serving of Bio•Heaven which I know prevents stress build up and seems to work miracles (no stress at all transplant) Fri. Pretty uneventful, humidity was pretty awful the past few days. Hopefully it lowers soon.

Mon. Started this week of with a light pruning of the more discoloured leaves. Wed. Still getting readings of high humidity and I placed like 6 silica gel packs in there to try and help, nothing. Sun. This week felt like it was taking forever, the midway point is now over. One more week with feed then two weeks of flush, three days of total darkness and no water them harvest.

Tue. The weeks will be going slow now as the flowers start to ripen. Thurs. Very slow days so the weeks feel worse to think about. There's not too much to write about. Not much happening and no issues as of yet. Sun. Slow week, seeing her so close to finishing her life is sad. She's so beautiful ;-;

Mon. Going to start lowering feed amounts over this week to nothing for a flush next week and seeing how she is. Wed. Tiny bit of light burn on the top of a few of the middle colas but not the ones which were actually closer to the light... Fri. Watering is getting difficult as when I feed her the humidity gets out of had. Staggered watering is also awkward as hell. The air is constantly moving due to the extraction fan so hopefully mold won't take hold. Sun. Last week tomorrow! Flushing and I will also decide by Friday when I will be making her go through three days of darkness.

Mon. First day of the flush except I'm just going to give her 1ml of Bio•Heaven only for today. Thur. Very slow week now, it's just a matter of time... Fri. I don't think she's quite ready just yet, I am going to give her until the end of Saturday before I do the 3 days in total darkness and allow her to use up what's left of the water in her pot.

This grow has been more eye opening than the others, each grow gets more complex but just works with no unexpected issues. (Total plant failure) The larger pot means larger yields but I had to fight the humidity harder in such a small space which lead to days where I had to leave her get a little dry before I watered her again specially since most of the humidity control in there is weather dependant and my country isn't known for its spectaculatar weather so that threw off my rhythm massively. Seems winter grows will be my thing. I'll also experiment with humidity control options as it got a little out of hand, thankfully no sign of herming but we will find out soon enough!
