Day 92: I half expected to be still saying this but they are still only showing milky trichromes in the main. I have trimmed and started to dry the #1 L.o.s girl a few days ago as she looked ready visually. She smells amazing close up and was a pleasure to trim. I do think she could have gone another week in hindsight but it will be interesting to see the difference in the end result too. #2 is pushing new white pistil sets out still and her trichs are generally milky with a few still clear globes around , no signs of amber anywhere in her so far so at least a week I think.
#3 The poorly girl has a few amber trichs knocking about so I think she will be taken down in the next few days. Despite her looking line rubbish the entire grow , she is producing some nice solid nugs. Their smell is so sweet and sickly that after the cure they will be so fruity to smoke. This week should see them finish perfectly. peace and blessings.
@PrairieFrostGrow,Thanks bud. I am impressed with them so far. Wish I could have sussed what was happening with the poorly girl. been the same throughout the grow ?. thankfully still kicking buds out.
Cracking video there @Ganjagrandaddy (on insulation week 8)
Those growers in California and Australia just don't get what we have to put up with!
However I guess one good thing about winter - no bugs
Tried growing Basil in the garden once and it was eaten alive by mites
@LordAzrael,Lol agree there mate. we had a hot summer here and all us uk growers lost our minds and learnt a lot about bud rot too.!!. This stuff is good for keeping heat OUT too. I got by in some serious ( for uk) temps with no airflow rhrought the loft at all. It got hot but never more than 30ยฐc which was a bonus compared to outside silly temps. I prefer a winter grow for sure now out summers have heated up but these Fast buds in their own fabric pots , will make a brilliant guerilla grow outdoors for us next year. A nice sealed box idea using this outside your tent like a thermal blanket , will allow you a lot of control for very little cost before starting the expensive environmental additions and their running costs. All good mate. keep green
Merry Xmas
