Sour Raspberry Kush

Day 0 - Just stumbled across Wicked Pissah Seeds and looks like they have some pretty sweet strains so decided to order their sampler pack and starting with the Sour Raspberry Kush right now. I started germinating this girl on 4 November and she was cracked and taproot started on 6 November. Placed her in a humidity dome in a rapid rooter. Will start day 1 when her first set of leaves appear. Day .5 - So far so good, she’s up and out of the rapid rooter and just waiting for her to fully open up so hopefully tomorrow she’ll be fully opened and I’ll start the day 1 count. Day .75 - She’s out and opened up and giving her one more day before starting the count. Gave her a little mist today and will place her in a 3 gallon fabric pot tomorrow and will officially be day 1. Day 1 - Messed up with the girl, thought I gave her a bit of water but I didn’t and rapid rooter is pretty dry and she’s laying on the soil after I put her in a 3 gallon pot. Gave her a little bit of water so hopefully it’s not too late and she perks up. I’ll check on her in a couple hours and see how she’s doing. Day 2 - Thank god, she recovered from almost drying out and she’s standing tall again and looking nice and healthy so far. Gave her a tiny bit of water today and keeping the glass over her for a bit higher humidity. Day 3 - So far so good and recovered nicely from being so dry. She’s perked up and looking healthy. Still keeping the glass over her for a higher humidity and other than that, just keeping an eye on her for now. Day 4 - Nothing too much to report right now. She seems to be doing great so far. Gave her a light spray of water and keeping the glass over her still to keep up the humidity. Day 5 - She’s coming along nicely and just keeping an eye on her while she’s young since I rent to constantly overwater but no issues so far with this girl. Day 7 - Ending week 1 for this girl and she’s definitely recovered well from being “dehydrated” at the start. Still going very light with the watering and she’s slightly pale in color so may give her a very light feeding next watering.

Day 8 - Starting week 2 and so far so good with this girl. She’s a little pale and has a bit of curling on the new growth so gave her a little bit of water with a small amount of FoxFarm Big Bloom so hopefully that’ll help her out. Day 9 - She’s looking a bit better after feeding her yesterday so will most likely continue with foxfarm’s schedule but will give her about a quarter of the dose. Day 10 - Doing pretty good so far and it’s looking like some of her color is starting to come back a little darker. Not really much else going on with her right now. Day 12 - This girls been doing pretty good so far and no real issues at the moment. Gave her a fresh drink of water tonight and just letting her do her thing right now. Day 14 - Ending week 2 and the girl is doing great. Gave her a light feeding of nutes today and just letting her do her thing for right now.

Day 16 - Starting week 3 and it looks like she’s starting to grow very nicely now. After a few waterings, the soil was kind of compacted down so added a little more soil to top the pot off. Gave her a bit of fresh water today and will probably start some LST at the start of week 4. Day 17 - All is looking good and she’s growing well so far. Still looking at week 4 sometime to start some LST and start getting her under growth going and getting her shaped the way I want. Not sure yet but might end up topping her at some point as well. Day 18 - Nothing big going on, still plan on starting some LST next week. Gave her a light feeding of nutes today and all is looking well. Day 20 - Almost the end of week 3 and was going to start some LST this week but I’ll be out of town for a week and don’t want my wife worrying about training so just gave her a little bit of water today and already have water pre pH’d and nutes added so all she’ll have to do is water them when they need it.

Day 27 - Into week 4 and back from my vacation. Wife did good with her while I was gone. She definitely needed some water today so gave her a good dose and next watering I’ll give her some nutes. Finally started LST and hopefully lower branches will start stretching now. Day 28 - The end of week 4 and did some more training with her today. Trying to get her spread out a bit before she really starts stretching. Will give her a feeding of nutes once she’s dried up and ready.

Day 29 - Starting week 5 and held off in watering for another day. She’s still slightly damp so don’t want to chance overwatering her. Continued LST to keep her open and even. Day 30 - Continued the LST with her today and gave her a feeding of nutrients. She’s coming along nicely for a breeder and strain I know very little about. Day 31 - Looks like the girls starting to take off now. Had to retie a couple branches down again but going to them then go for a bit now so they can catch up to the main branch. It’s starting to get pretty stiff now so don’t want to try and bend it over anymore. Seen a pistil or two showing up so hopefully she’ll stretch a bit and start flowering soon. Day 32 - She’s looking great so far and continued with the LST today. Was able to get the main stem bent over and tied down so hopefully the rest will catch up and get some even growth from here on out. I also did a test of the soil pH and definitely high (8.2) so will do a flush tomorrow after recalibrating my pen. Overall she’s looking good but want to make sure all possible issues are squared away before she heads into flower. Day 33 - Was planning on doing a flush today because the runoff pH was really high yesterday but going to wait and recheck everything when I get the new solution in. Holding off of continuing LST for another day or so to get a little more stretch out of her. Day 34 - She’s looking pretty good right now and still waiting another day or two and will continue the LST. Should have my new bottles of pH solution so I will be testing everything out once my pen is recalibrated.

Day 36 - Starting week 6 and she’s starting to blow up. She’s showing a bunch of pistils now so I’m gonna day this is the first week of flower. I went ahead and gave her one last feed of veg nutes and next feeding, I’ll start bloom nutes. My pH pen is recalibrated and checked runoff after the feed and still a little high, 7.1 but nothing like the initial 8.3 it was reading the other day so I’ll lower the pH a bit for next watering and hopefully square everything away. Day 37 - This girl is really taking off with some explosive growth. I didn’t do any LST today and gonna let her go for a bit and see how she starts to develop. She’s gotta get a little more stretching going on and might continue some more. Day 38 - This girl is blowing up and looking great. Going to hold off on anymore LST for awhile so she can get a bit of vertical growth going on and hopefully by the time she’s ready for more, I’ll have one girl in the tent ready for harvest so I’ll have more room to spread her out. She’ll get some water in the next day or two. Day 39 - She’s still exploding with growth right now but not really into full flower mode yet but throwing more pistils each day. Will be giving her some water tomorrow. Day 40 - All is Loki g great and it’s looking like this is going to be a very big girl. She was thirsty today so gave her a full 1 1/4 gallon of plain pH’d water without cal-mag and pH’d to 6.4. I added a second 1000W LED light to the tent for now to give this girl and my other some more light since my bigger two are taking up some space. Once those two are harvested I’ll cut back to just one because my normal 76 degree temps are up to 81 now. Day 41 - Almost the end of week 6 and damn this girl is just blowing up. Will be harvesting my Blue Dream soon so it will open up some soace for her to really go. Next feeding I’ll give her her first feeding of bloom nutes, plribably sometime this weekend.

Day 43 - Starting week 7 and this girl is just booming with growth and really throwing pistils everywhere now. I tied down a couple branches that were starting to get away from the rest. I’ll be giving her the first feeding of bloom nutes within the next day or so. Day 44 - Went ahead and removed a few fan leaves today, they were huge and blocking a ton of light. She was also really droopy and definitely needed some water, so gave her a full gallon and her first feeding of bloom nutes today. Day 45 - All in all she’s doing well and as dry as she was yesterday, I thought a bit of water would perk her up from being so droopy but she’s still pretty droopy today and not sure what’s happening. I’ll just let her dry out again and see what happens but she’s still stretching and buds are starting to form so maybe she wasn’t as dry as I thought and she’s overwatered. Day 46 - Well her droopy leaves are starting to perk back up and aren’t so droopy anymore so going to limit how much water she gets. She’s a really big girl and she’s starting to bud up now. Looking forward to seeing what kind of smell she’s gonna be putting out. Will do a little defoliating tomorrow but will try and tuck what I can. Day 47 - The pot feels like she’s ready for some water but she just recovered from being really droopy for a few days and afraid if I water her again, she’ll do the same. I’ll see tomorrow how she’s doing and might give her just a half gallon or so. Day 49 - She’s was really droopy today and the pot was very light so gave her a gallon of pH’d water and cal-mag. Hopefully that will help her out but last time she got a watering she was droopy for days so hopefully there’s not underlying issues. Other than that, she’s growing nicely.

Day 50 - She’s looking a lot better today and was definitely screaming for water yesterday. Still a little droopy in a couple spots but overall she’s perked up and looking good. Buds are forming nicely and looking forward to the next few weeks. Day 51 - Nothing much new going on right now. Still has a slight droop but growing nicely and buds still developing. Some of the leaves are huge so I might remove a few of them over the next few day to open her up more. Day 52 - She’s doing good still and was very light on water today so I gave her a feeding of water and nutes. I’m about out of foxfarm’s trio so wanted to try something different and ordered Abvanced Nutrients pH Perfect Grow/Micro/Bloom so hopefully she likes it. Holding off on doing any real defoliating but some of the leaves are huge and seem like they may be weighing her down but gonna let her go for a bit and see how she does with the new nutes. Day 53 - She’s looking good today and definitely not really much droop going on after water and feeding yesterday. I don’t see any signs of stress or burns from the new nutrients so I say all is good. Day 54 - All is looking good and she’s got more room to spread out now that I’ve chopped my Aurora Borealis. She’ll probably need some water by Friday. Day 55 - She’s looking great and growing well still. She was definitely needing some water today so she got another feeding of the advanced nutrients. Other than that, nothing much else is happening.

Day 57 - Another week ended and another starting. She’s really filling in nicely now and I’ve gotta think the new nutrients have something to do with it. She’s starting to get kinda frosty now too. Probably won’t be needing any water until early next week but I’ll keep an eye on her. Day 58 - All is looking good still, will DEFINITELY need some water tomorrow. She’s actually starting to fill in nicely and starting to get a little frost to her. Day 59 - She’s doing really well but was definitely thirsty today. Had to give her almost 2 full gallons of water and also added the Advanced Nutrients to the water. I reached out to them to verify how often I should feed and they said every watering but make sure to have a 10-20% runoff each watering to avoid build up so we’ll see how it goes. So far this was her third feeding and hasn’t seemed to bother her and really likes it. Day 60 - Did a pretty decent defoliation tonight because I want the lower stuff to get more light. She’s a pretty bushy girl throughout so want her as open as possible without stunting her during the last few weeks. Day 61 - Since a couple of my young plants got destroyed by my cats and have a little more room in the tent, I went ahead and lowered my lights to about 12” above the canopy to try and get some mire intense light going. If I start seeing some ill effects, I’ll gradually raise them a bit. Other than that, she’ll probably get her next drink this weekend sometime. Day 62 - She’s looking great and starting to frost up nicely. She dried up a lot quicker than I was expecting so ended up giving her almost 2 full gallons of water tonight. The lights being at 12” seem to be just right.

Day 64 - Starting another week and she’s definitely frosting up pretty nicely. He being closer to the light is also helping her fatten up quite a bit. She’s looking amazing! She will be getting another two gallons of water either Sunday or Monday. Day 65 - She’ll be needing some water for sure tomorrow and will give her another light defoliation as well, some of the fan leaves are getting huge and blocking light. Day 66 - Should of gave her some water and nutes yesterday because she was seriously droopy today. She took another 2 gallons of water so she should be perked back up in a couple hours. Other than that, she is frosting up beautifully. Day 67 - She’s really been bulking up lately and she’s perked up after getting some water and nutes yesterday. Did a little defoliating today to get some of the giant leaves off and out of the way. She’s definitely still got a few weeks left so will continue feeding her nutes, at leas for the next couple of feedings and then see where she’s at. Day 68 - All still looks great and starting to smell kinda fruity. Other than that, just watching her chug along everyday. She’ll need some water on Friday. Day 69 - A lot of trichs are really clouding up and everything is looking great with this girl. She’s gonna have nice, fat and dense buds and can’t wait to harvest this girl. Will be giving her some water and nutes tomorrow, the pot is starting to get pretty light. Day 70 - She got her next feeding of nutes today. I thought she could probably go another day but last time I did that, she was really droopy so trying to avoid that.

Day 71 - Not much going on today but is is starting to smell a bit more. Kinda sweet with a little bit of funk is the easiest way to explain it. Noticed some of her top leaves were tacoing a bit so raised the light up a little bit to try and relax her. Day 72 - She’s still chugging along and she’s packing in nicely. Other than that, not much else happening. I raised the lights a little more cause still have a few leaves up top folding like tacos. Have the high temps no higher than 78 and around 69 at night so I don’t think heat is the cause, I think I had the lights way to close. Day 73 - Nothing much to update today. She’s gonna need some more water tomorrow. Still have some tacoing of the leaves but did about all I can do now so just hoping it doesn’t bother her the last couple weeks. Day 74 - Almost waited a day to late to give her some water and nutrients. She was just starting to drop a bit but got her fed before she really had any big issues. She took 2 full gallons of water and nutes so that should hold her over for about 2-3 days. Day 75 - All looks great since watering, no more droopy leaves but man oh man the buds are getting fat and dense as hell. There’s still plenty of clear trichs and most pistils are still thick and white so still at least two week left but can’t wait for this harvest. Day 76 - Will probably be attaching some of those plant yoyo’s soon because these buds are getting fat and heavy and don’t want anything bad happening to them. This is turning out to be one of my best grows to date. The top few leaves are really tacoing and getting brittle, not a lot but a few so I raised the lights a bit more. Probably too late for the couple that are damaged but overall she should be ok. Day 77 - No major updates today, she’ll be needing some water for sure tomorrow. Other than that, I’ll be attaching some plant yo-yo’s today to support the massive buds.

Day 78 - She’s still got a little weight to her do not quite ready for some water. She’s definitely showing some deficiencies in her leaves right now but she’s coming down to the end so just gonna continue with what I’m doing until chopping. I might actually do a good flush tomorrow and give her nothing but water till the end. Day 79 - Gave her a flush today with 2 gallons of water and Foxfarm’s Sledgehammer. Now it’s just a waiting game for her to finish up. She’s showing some amber trichs so it’s looking like she’ll be getting the chop this coming weekend. Day 80 - She’s definitely started to fade quite a bit now and there is a ton of amber trichs. I’d like her to make it to the weekend but I’ll chop her sooner if need be. I think she’ll be ok and make it though. Day 81 - More and more ambers showing everyday and I’m hoping she’ll make it till the weekend to get chopped. If I gotta chop sooner, I will. Her buds are nice and fat so looking like this is going to be an awesome harvest. Day 82 - Nothing new, just waiting until the weekend to chop. Possibly Friday after work!

This strain was an absolute gem to grow. Had no issues along the way and probably my biggest yield to date.
