FastBuds FBTO1

Started germinating FastBuds tester varieties :) I'm growing two in soil under SCROG and LST, while my husband is growing one in hydro for a fun comparison. Game on bby!!

It's a girl!! Both seeds popped and are looking really strong! They really are fast... those seeds popped about 3-4 days faster than I was expecting!

These two are coming along nicely. I started nutrients today. Room temps and humidity are in perfect spec 40-45% and ~27C. Can't wait to see how these turn out!

These photos don't do a good job of showing the height of the plants. The scrog kind of gets in the way. My camera focuses on the string instead of the plant. I need to learn to use my camera LOL.

These ladies are growing nicely :) They are up into the SCROG now, and I have been tucking some of the bigger fan leaves under to give lower shoots access to more light. I have plucked a few fan leaves from the apexes of the plants to expose shoots to light. Space is limited in my screen at the moment, so I'll allow them to grow a bit taller than I would normally do rather then spread them out. I'll use ties and LST to keep the canopy more even, and to make sure lower sections of the plants get plenty of light.

These ladies are growing well! They are taking over my SCROG which makes me happy 😁 It means I need to start harvesting my LSD Auto... (which by the way is really fun to vape! I tried some last night and it's great) to make room for the FBT01 plants. You can see the foliage of FBT01 has started to choke out buds from some of the older plants! I guess I need a bigger grow room / scrog 😋 I have switched the diary to flowering as the smallest buds have formed. The plants are also stretching like mad!

These ladies have matured a lot this week. Flowers are shaping up nicely. There are loads of bud sites. I managed to scrog them horizontally so that they are low profile and far from the lights.

She's suffering radiation/light burn... more lights is not always better. After this grow, my grow room will be closed for renovations. Having said that, the buds are still growing quite nicely. I'm turning the lights off for longer periods to reduce exposure, so I'm hoping these plants will turn out 'ok' all things considered.

I changed the SCROG to help alleviate the radiation burn... to move the plants further from the lights. They seem to be responding well. There are plenty of burned leaves, but the buds look good. I took some trichomes photos and they look lovely. The buds are fat and frosty.

Harvest time! I chopped her down early this week. She's been drying and is almost ready to take a weight for the harvest entry. She needs a day or two more though... she's not quite there yet.

This was a super easy variety to grow. It does well in a SCROG and is very robust. They are really very fast from seed to harvest. This one is an all time favourite. I like to share my weed, but this one goes on the top shelf :)
