Trying to recover from ph issues
At 2 weeks about half of the 12 FB strains got a high ph feed somehow and r/o was coming out 6.5
Flushed with a gal and fed with ph 5.5.
Down to 6.2 but the damage was done
Hopefully the new run will be dialed in
#2 is doing very well #1 is just a little slower. I'm sure someone has already done this before but in an effort to decrease the footprint of some of my plants still in veg to save space, I started doing I guess a reverse lst? Instead of pulling the side branches down and away from the mail stem, I pulled them back towards the main stem and tied them to it to prop them up. The last picture of the week shows what I'm trying to describe. Does anyone do anything comparable to this without using a trellis net or have any reason why this might be a bad idea? My 4x8 is maxed out right now, I hand water to waste so scrog is kinds out of the question.
They took off this week
I've been defoliating and pulling branches towards the main stem strictly to save space. It has resulted in some funky shaped plants but great canopies
#2 is a monster and #1 is barely flowering. Twisted new growth on both has been noticeable for the past week but the continue to grow rapidly. Hoping to get some color from the crystal meth side of things. Btw for anyone unfamiliar with this strain it is Mexican Airlines X crystal meth
Switched over to botanicare for bloom to see if I have better results. I think I have had too much N through out flower with canna and the cns is cheap so what the he'll. Starting to get some aroma from her a little berryish. The topped one is still early in flower barely a q tip at the top. Will update soon with more pics
#2 is further along but #1 is taller by a few inches at 44" tall but it was also topped. Very impressed with how these are shaping up and will update again next week. Still confused about the kool bloom, why does the ripening/dry have extra N if it's for the last 2 weeks and the other liquid bulking doesn't have any?
Chopped down the first one 5 days ago just waiting for it to dry. Smell is very strong like pine and berries. Or pine berries? Is that a thing? I think supporting the side branches allowed them to pack on some extra weight. When untied they were floppin like your old aunt Margery. The second one is just ridiculous. It's taking longer cuz it was topped and not much pruning it has alot of flower to fill out. Havnt sampled yet but I 100% will grow this again it's a top dawg in the tent. I had to edit the last pic a lil bit but I'm 6'1" for size comparison. Hope you enjoy the pics thanks for following along and your support.t I highly recommend this strain.
The one that got chopped weighed in at 169g I assume the 2nd one will be more. Smoked a fat joint of it last night and wasn't disappointed, great late night smoke, noticeably smooth and a lovely piney taste.
Needs one more flush before chop, was surprised at the size and density of the nugs on the side branches. There are exactly 6 main shoots on her that are all close to the size of the main cola on the first one. This is an amazing strain.
Six Shooter is a freak. The first of the 2 had a very respectable yield of 169g, 2nd (topped at 3rd node) one got me 352g dry... that is 11.4 oz from one plant. the nugs on the 2nd, like the 1st are all rock solid and put out a pleasant, powerful smell of sweet berries and pine. The high depends on when you harvest o suppose as the first was more relaxing and Indica like where the second is uplifting and euphoric, makes me want to do something that requires my full attention (like hand trimming 352g). I was told when I first started growing that if I wanted yields and potency that I would have to grow photoperiod. I think this proves how far autos have come. Great work by Fastbuds delivering a strain that can yield with the best but still produce a product potent enough to land on the top shelf. I ran out of the first one 2 days after curing. I have some more strains to do but I will be 100% coming back to this one for some experimentation down the road.
Update: I left a jar out on the final weight, it should have been 352g

Never had an issue, i was a little nervous they wouldn't get big but even after they started flowering they continues to stretch. Temps were kept under 80 the majority of the grow and humidity around 40%. This is perfect for beginners and experts due to the yield potential and potency. You gotta try it if u can. I'll try and post some better photos when I have a little more time. Appreciate all the support and everyone following along. Happy growing folks.000
@Hawkbo, I try to keep it 10ml/gal in flower the most but I also bought salicylic acid, Chitosan, and any other magnesium sulfate will do as an alternative.
I find it increases oil and smell.
She looks to be coming along fantastically buddy. This is some really beautiful work you've done here. I'm excited to see how she plumps up in the few more weeks she has left of flower. She's going to be one beautiful monster buddy :D
@Hawkbo,yeah man 4ft is crazy my gorilla that still going is almost that big 😂is the fastbuds genetics just awesome . I don't think I have had less that 5 ounce a plant yet 😀
Thanks @Fergie, she really is special she's almost 4 ft wide lol it's insane. In the past my heavy yielders have been average nugs at best but if these ones are as potent as the first one this strain is a gold mine. Thanks for following along
@Smokwiri my bad i thought this was the Cali snow the 6 was also moved around but mostly under the higrow woth 4 other plants which pulls 400 from the wall I'll update at harvest
@Don_Juan, this was back when I had the purple lights not the quantum boards so I had lights Jimmy rigged all over the place but I try to get them around 18-24" if possible but with an uneven canopy somencsn be 35" away or 8" away it all depends if one plant outgrows the others. Aim for 18-24 tho
@Hawkbo, na I wouldn’t say your wrong or I’m right brutha man, I’d say the one I smoked barely had any Amber trichs, and that could be The reason. But either way brutha phenomenal job!!
Thanks @buddin_onna_budget, yeah the first one had a very relaxing vibe, for me it's all day smoke but for most i would think night, maybe I'm wrong wouldn't be the first time!
Thanks for the info ! .. Last week I ordered the AN grandmaster line, but they cost me a ton of money considering i need to feed every watering o_O
Do you think it's worth the money or should I opt for other/cheaper nutes next time?
@Wifi_OG, I used to use the AN sensi coco and thought it was too expensive considering other options. I dont like brands that have an A+B for grow and bloom instead of an A+B for the whole cycle. I got quality nugs but i do now too. If you want heavy scented Terps you gotta go with something that has some organics in it. That's why I use the botanicare pure blend pro bloom, its partially mineral based with organic compounds. Also nirvana from AN same deal. It's a pain in the ass mixing up nutes from 13 different bottles lately I've just been using the Megacrop from green leaf nutrients cuz it has everything in it but it's real expensive. It's easy to fall for the branding and marketing the nute companies use but npks are npks no matter where you get them they are essentially all the same in my opinion. The additives is a bit more complicated but Its alot of trial and error just gotta find what best fits your needs.
Do you really need to give them that much water a day? I'm planning on doing my first coco grow with the Six Shooter strain. My tap water has an EC of 1.0 already so very salty... Do you think it's ok to use the TAP or should I use RO water?
Veeery nice plant btw, jelly!
@Wifi_OG, thanks man you can use tap if you let it sit over night to dechlorinate and just subtract the ec of the tap from the total after nutes. Yeah when they start flowering the big ones need to be fed once a day sometimes 2. U could use a 5 gal pot if u dont wanns water as much
