Been a couple weeks since I updated this one. I. Early flower one of them is a monster at 42 inches from the dirt. They are a little behind the pack but it should start getting interesting soon
I gotta say I expected a little more snow from the snow
Maybe she'll pack it on late I can only hope
Smells like cinnamon a little bit i think it's not too strong right now
They both have some great nugs on them I just hope there's a snowstorm comin down the line
Started using the cns ripe to keep down the nitrogen 2nd half of flower
Big plants with a bunch of big buds But the snow is more like a lite dusting :/ they were fed same as the 6 shooters so I'm confused. I did grab and squeeze a few nugs and they are sticky but more like dry and stiff than moist and goo if that makes sense. Has a sour apple and pine scent, hopefully they will just finish up next week
Flush week
The snow held off for a bit but the buds are ultimately covered.
Smell isn't overpowering but is subtle and is green apple like maybe a little sour with some undertones of cinnamon or earth. Finishes later than the other just due to the size. Great strain
Both got the axe, 2nd one today 1st one 3 days ago, going to log the harvest when all dried and I can log the weight and take pics of the finished product. My phone froze while uploading so might be duplicates. The aroma at the end was a tangy sour apple smell. Love how these turned out they literally didn't give me any trouble. Very excited for this to finish up for some sampleage. Both plants were very similar except one had longer skinny buds and the other shorter and fat, but of both of them are heavy yielders woth an abundance of rock solid nugs. Enjoy the overload of pics and grow your own!
After curing for a few days I cant stop smoking this. I got the options of BlackBerry, LSD, Mexican airlines, tangie, pineapple, six shooter all on hand and I go to the Cali snow everytime. Sticky as hell and both heavy sour apple aroma. Generally more of an Indica high but no couch lock.
Yield was up there with a little over 150g per plant dry. It's more potent than I expected, you only need a half a j n ur locked in for a few hours. HIGHly recommend this strain for the ease/spees of growth, quality, yield, smoke, flavor. I'm smoking it right now. I'll probly be smokin it while ur reading this.
These 2 were moved around under different Amazon panels but last half of flower under 1000w higrow which pulls around 380-400 from wall. Never had any issues with either one and recommend to everyone but especially if you want high yields without sacrificing quality. They grew the smoothest out of anything I've grown so far definitely will grow again soon.
@Fergie, Idk yet ferg, still dickin around with flush times I like how my most recent six shooter came out I flushed that one for like a week. I drop ppms about a week before to around 800 then to 400 then I run about 5 gal full strength clearex til ppms are under 100 thru it. Then I'll let it dry and hit it again and check the run off until it's under 50 ppm and depending on the fade by the next dry out i might do one more. I really just want the cleanest possible buds without losing any potency or aroma.
@WeirdBeard, yeah when I researched it before I started growing I read alot of 5.5-6.5 for ph in coco. I don't think that's accurate . I start having issues around 6.3 and up. Recently started using the canna coco coir blocks and it says right on them 5.2-6.2 which is more like it. I would recommend to anyone trying coco out for the first time to feed at 5.5-5.6 at first And then the following feed be at 5.9-6.0 and then after that back to 5.5. I'm sure your dialed in but that really fucked with me for a bit lol
Also heard seedlings grow more rapidly in acidic media so my current run I been going from 5.3 to 5.8 to keep it down and I've noticed quicker germination and more rapid growth since.
@WeirdBeard, I think it's the camera but not sure they are under leds 23 hrs a day so it's hard to tell. They look healthy in person and are growing pretty rapidly. I had high ph at the beginning as well which stunted them a bit. I started growing April of this year. I was a private investigator for 2 years lol that shit was pretty nuts. I hope I can find a job in the cannabis industry at some point
Hi my friend, your plants look great. I would like to get some advices from your experiences, it's my first planting.
That's why I have problems on when to harvest my plant. Would you please look at my diary and tell me around when should I harvest my plant?
Additionaly, I'm thinking that I will have 150 gr dried harvest. What is your opinion, do I have to wait for something less? Thank you. ☺️😇
@hiciste, thanks pal i think you got a few weeks left. When you think it's time to harvest wait a week or 5 days then harvest. I pay attention to pistol color, when just a little under half are amber I'll start takin a peak with the microscope to check the trichome maturity. When about 75% of the pistils are amber, and the trichomes are 80% cloudy and 20% amber is wheb I shoot to harvest. Depending on when you harvest you can bring out different medicinal properties or effects [couch lock/pain med long last high when trichs are over mature, and a more punch in the face euphoric brief high harvesting when trichs are 50% clear/cloudy. I'm no expert but if you do research on it this is just some of what you'll find regarding harvest times. Hope this was somewhat helpful. Go with your gut, when the bud looks like a bomb mature nugget rip the bitch down and hang er
