FIMING didn't work so well on the DC and BB so I topped both plus removed some fans from all four and started to tie down.

Took a couple of days to get over the topping and pruning but growth started to take off. Will most likely be flipping in less than 2 weeks

Did some super cropping Nov 18 Flipping on day 42 Nov 20 Too much diversity on this grow. Now with a little more experience I'll choose more compatible strains Nov 20 Wedding Cake started to preflower 4 days ago. Budding now, looks like it's not Wedding Cake but Critical Thunder auto. I should have never gotten stoned when prepping my seeds for this grow. November 21 Day 42. Since the Critical Thunder is starting to bud I'm flipping the other 3 today. DP, BB, and the WC are in the dark until tomorrow morning so no pics. Just a couple of the CT for now. She's starting to scare me. Only 9 inches tall but almost 23 inches wide.

Grow Questions

Since autos have a finite timeline is it better to just let it grow as much as possible and get as big as possible or have the most bud sites when its starts to flower? I'm doing my first grow and started a Critical Thunder auto amongst my others. Not knowing anything about autos

that's actually a great question, and you know what i does depend on genetics, i have had XXL strains that take to LST and beast out but take 12 weeks+ and i've had some that dont take to LST , and some that benefit from larger pots (10 gal +) and some that dont. For your specific gens your critical thunder will be a large yielder that takes well to LST, BB3 is a great plant to LST, but the wedding cake and durban poison i've only let them grow , so i dont want to commit but you're probably pretty well off if you want to LST them... just one thing about autos : i havent really had much success LSTing after like the third week of veg. Hope this helps !

Day 49 Seven days into flower from the flip and still nothing on Bruce, Durban, and the Cake. Maybe this week. Critical Thunder two weeks into flower is starting to stack up nicely with some pretty tight nodes. Update Day 50 Overnight Bruce, Cake, and Durban have all started to preflower.

Grow Questions

Another auto question. Once you commit to a light schedule will an auto be "shocked" should you go from maybe 24/0 to 20/4 or 18/6? Or vice versa.

Maybe the plants will be little shocked, but that's no problem. I did this already a few times and never had any troubles for doing this. Now I always use 20/4, I think that's the best light schedule for a auto. Good luck with the rest of the grow

Nothing to report. Good consistent growth. One watering since day 49 Day 56 update All are looking good. Critical Thunder auto just finished it's third week of flowering. The other 3 started to preflower 6 days ago and are forming buds. First week of flowering, second since the flip. Two weeks behind the auto
