Great week and it's been so mundane that I forgot to add last week. So I just added both weeks today and she is currently up to date. Today is 12/22/19 and it was more than time to transplant her into her permanent pot. I did this but rather than just the normal potting mix, I added a few teaspoons of sea bird guano into the mix because I'm planning on sending her into flower soon and the sea bird guano is great source of phosphate and calcium. We will now see her grow and get ready for her flower cycle.

Nice, getting rid of some fans can shorten the node spacing, early enough on in flower, they have enough time to recover before heavy flower set.. many will say that deleafing hurts yields, but my experience taught me that deleafing has strategic value.. it can increase resin production and like I said, shorten node spacing, but... It can also cause reduced flower hormones as opposed to leaving them.. but.. again with the but lol... If timing is right, the plant will fill the gaps with newer leaves before heavy flower set and no harms done... Cheers!

@MomnPoppaSeed, it really has to do with the nature of THC and the like.. it's a defence mechanism to deter browsing.. hence some browsing can trigger a protection response...yet if timing is off or too much is taken in flowerset, it can also induce nanners and self seed if it thinks it's dying... Keep it Green!

@DWCHC, lol you should have seen the pile of leaves I fed my worms. It was crazy but you can't imagine the amount of space it freed up in my grow space. Not to mention the intensity of of the light at the base of the plant. Usually when I do a big defoliation as the bud sites make themselves apparent, the plant ends up needing up to two more cleanings before harvest. I really believe that defoliation, when performed at the ideal time, will cause an increase in thrichome production. Not only does it have more energy to send to what remains of the plant, but it acts as a LST and sends out some shock signals that cause the plant to try to protect itself in the only way it knows how. Such a cool plant in the way they can be manipulated. This is why the good stuff is more expensive though. So much time and TLC go into them Keep growing buddy!!
