deFharo MMM: Matter (organic), Minerals & Microorganisms Hi, this is my second indoor cannabis crop. Being such a small crop, it is convenient to carry out a thorough monitoring every day of the parameters of the plantation. The important concept of this crop is solely dedicated to the care of the substrate, and as an effect I will obtain two plants that will grow by regulating themselves in the consumption of nutrients from the soil, only with the support of microbiology, vitamins, amino acids, humus, auxins and enzymes. My closet: 40x40x120cm First growth light: CFL 6400k - 120w These will be the last autoflowering seeds that I will plant inside. It is a tremendous stupidity, because normal seeds will allow me to have much more control over the different stages of the crop. I will reserve some automatic seeds that I still have left to plant in my windows in spring. However, I wanted to experience the behavior of plants before a recovered substrate very enriched with nutrients and minerals arranged in 5 functional layers, and the time in which this substrate is maintained only without added nutrients in the irrigation. If the soil shows signs of depletion, I will fertilize it with surface additives. I will put special interest in the development of roots, microbacteria and mycorrhizae. In the substrate there are already several elements that will favor this purpose (compost, bokashi or the soil recovered from another crop with a lot of bacterial life) and I also have homemade Ormus extracts and humic and fulvic acids enriched with minerals and auxins (You can see the formula in my previous daily growth) for the early stages of vegetative growth, etc. I have activated the potting soil by watering them with 1L of rainwater with enzymes and molasses. For irrigation I will use mainly: structured rainwater, auxins, enzymes, My PKum, Cantabrian Sea Ormus, honey or molasses, when appropriate. WELCOME

deFharo The cultivation continues ... Auto Anubis shows a lot of vigor, the difference of 3 days with Red Dwarf in germination, it shows a lot. At the moment they remain with the humidity of the pots and I only spray pure water on the leaves so that they drink from them, meanwhile the roots that are dedicated to expand.

deFharo Good week for plant settlement, the top layer of the substrate is providing nitrogen properly thanks to organic components with protein and nitrogen fixers that are in the first and second layer of the pot. No irrigation this week, the plants drink from the substrate and from the spray of rainwater on the leaves. In this way I ensure a fundamental root growth for later stages. Auto Anubis is developing a pure indica phenotype, very wide leaves, with perfect symmetry. I replace the 125w CFL bulb with a homemade reflector cooled with 3 T8 fluorescent tubes of 24w and 6400k each. Although the new lamp has fewer lumens than the CFL bulb, but the color spectrum and distance over the plants solve the issue. This lamp also allows me to change tubes of different color spectra as the plantation progresses.

deFharo - After 2 weeks the race continues between Anuvis and Red D. - I have made an FIM pruning to Anubis, in the fourth knot, to direct its great vigor to the lateral branches and give Red D. time to reach it. - Water consumption begins to rise in both, so far I have only watered them with fumic acid, amino acids, auxins and vitamins. - My previous cultivation diary has concluded and has left its luminous closet to these two new plants. Now I have a combination of 2 fluorescents from 55w to 9500k and 5400k, also two led ceiling panels with 2700k and 4000k - I am currently developing essential amino acids with vitamins and minerals with enzymatic hydrolysis, mainly for the vegetative stage. I am also growing my acid-lactic bacteria, which I hope to start using them this week. I will test the efficiency of my new additives throughout this crop. Cheers

deFharo This week I did a large leaf trim on Anubis, the two FIM trimming attempts haven't had the expected effect, but it has delayed the apical growth, favoring the development of the lateral branches. Red Dwarf, although it is 6 days younger, is developing slowly and lacks vigor; it seems like a delicate plant with fine leaves. I have renewed the mulch for these two plants to introduce Forest Microorganisms (MM) that I collected, as well as fresh wood chips that I found. I made a 3-layer mulch: the first, closest to the soil, is made of MM and dry leaves from María and comfrey so that the microorganisms have more leaves to thrive on. I covered this layer with another composed of MM, coconut fiber, sawdust, sheep wool, bokashi from algae, chicken manure compost, and goat manure, a lot of organic matter that will break down with the help of lactic acid bacteria and an initial watering with protein hydrolysate enriched with algae and humus, nitrogen to quickly break down the wood chips. This week I also added a 50w 4000k Cob LED light to the side of the cabinet. Next week I will start changing the light spectrum; flowering has already begun!!

deFharo This week I tied down the lateral branches of Anubis to give the tips space to start growing vertically, as the apical bud promises. The growth of this plant slowed down in height with the two attempts at FIM pruning, but instead, the lateral branches have stood out; it seems that this week it has picked up its growth rhythm again. Red Dwarf is behaving very well after the FIM pruning; this plant is less vigorous than its companion, but it is developing numerous tips, and I hope it gets stronger in the coming weeks. The diet for the last 2 weeks has mainly consisted of auxins to support the prunings, my hydrolyzed humus and proteins with seaweed, and the nutrient leachate I collected from my previous organic harvest. Starting this week, I’m dropping the proteins and switching to my potassium humate enriched with minerals, molasses to feed the microorganisms, homemade lactic acid bacteria to help decompose the organic matter, and pure rainwater or mountain stream water. Regarding lights, I changed the blue fluorescent lights (9500k and 5400k) for others with a more red spectrum: 2700k x2; I also added a 26w LED bar with a flowering spectrum. Next week, I will be changing the color spectrum of the fluorescents until I reach 2100k and will add a full-spectrum Cob LED light, all very close to the upper and lateral tips. Catch you later!!

deFharo Hello. I'm continuing this grow after a serious potassium toxicity due to my mistake; you can see the marks on many of the large leaves. Additionally, the plants have been stunted for over a week. Fortunately, after a pure water diet, they seem to be recovering and growing. I've added a mix of seaweed and fish meal on the surface to provide energy, as well as a bit of montmorillonite for silicon and azomite for remineralization. These components will gradually break down and also feed the microorganisms in the mulch. The last watering of this week I did with a bit of honey instead of molasses to give energy to the microorganisms without adding potassium. For now, I will continue watering with pure water to see how the substrate ingredients behave. Red Dwarf has a more delicate structure than Anubis, possibly influenced by some sativa gene. It has responded very well to the FIM pruning and has developed numerous lateral branches, and although it has many tips, they look somewhat spindly. I hope to fatten the tips during the last 2 weeks of growth. I'm surprised by the thickness of the trunks of both plants; this gives me a lot of hope. Cheers and see you next time.

deFharo I'm happy with the progress of both plants, mainly Auto Anubis, a very vigorous indica from the start, which is developing abundant trichomes on the flowers and leaves, the smell is already very strong. Auto Magnun is a clearly sativa phenotype, this plant developed a lot of leaves due to excessive nitrogen fertilization at the beginning of flowering, it's also a plant that needs a lot of water, currently it has abundant buds but they are very thin, I hope they fatten up in the coming weeks....

deFharo Anubis keeps fattening up and hardening its buds, filling everything with a strong smell. The trichomes are invading the flowers and leaves, I think it has about a week left. I'll wait at least until the full moon on February 8th to harvest it. Red Dwarft has improved the tips a bit but they still haven't gained density, it seems like it has another 2 to 3 weeks since no brown hairs have appeared yet. It has too many leaves, although they are yellowing at a good pace which makes me think they are passing their nutrients and moisture to the plant and it will show in the buds. • I think I confused the Red Dwarft strain from the beginning with another one from Auto Magnun. I germinated them together and one didn't sprout, I mixed them up. The plant is clearly sativa, while Red Dwarft is an Indica strain. See you soon!

deFharo Auto Anubis keeps fattening up and hardening its big buds, there are still no brown trichomes, the leaves of the buds are frosted with trichomes. I'm really paying attention to the changes in the color of the trichomes because I want to cut her at her peak. She barely shows signs of aging on the older leaves. Auto Magnun, with a week less of life than her companion, is developing very well, she has numerous tips that are already starting to fatten up, many old leaves are yellowing and that's good for this plant that has excess leaves, I think she still needs at least 2-3 weeks before harvest, as she is clearly sativa. I'm feeding both plants with my hydrolyzed humic acids, potassium, phosphorus, and various minerals. I've reduced the watering frequency because I have a fungus gnat invasion, although I have it under control with blue and yellow traps. Cheers

deFharo The buds are still fattening up on both plants, and I still haven't seen any amber trichomes. I'm continuing this week with a potassium, phosphorus, and humic and fulvic acid-rich fertilization, not forgetting the molasses or honey to give energy to the soil microorganisms so they can make the nutrients from the substrate minerals available. Auto Magnun is forming some elongated and increasingly dense buds, although there's a noticeable difference between this Sativa plant and Anubis, which is clearly Indica. I'll probably harvest Auto Anubis first, and this one can definitely hold out for another 2 weeks; we'll see. For now, this delay in the harvest—since I thought I'd have the plants ready in no more than 95 days—is delaying the flowering stage of my other grow with Purple Bud, as they currently share a vegetative growth cabinet with other seedlings. If I still haven't harvested by this week, I'll adapt my third cabinet to start the flowering of the Purple Bud. I hope that in future grows with feminized seeds, I can better control the timing to create a cultivation chain with my 3 small cabinets and thus manage to harvest one cabinet a month with two plants. deFharo I'm going to harvest Auto Anubis this week, probably on Tuesday, March 4th, the third day after the waxing moon. The last watering will be on Sunday night and only with pure water to absorb the last nutrients from the soil. When growing organically, I don't need to flush the roots since during the curing process both chlorophyll and nutrient residues will degrade until they disappear, preserving aromas and flavors. The plant has been taking on a dark purple color, and the trichomes are invading the flowers and surrounding leaves. The density of the buds is very high, and I hope to reach the optimal point in these last 4 days. I'll keep you posted. Auto Magnun still has at least a couple of weeks left, due to the predominance of sativa genetics and because it is 6 days younger than Auto Anubis. The buds keep growing, fattening, and hardening, and the pistils are still all white. I have high hopes for this plant; the FIM pruning has resulted in a large number of tops. I’ll probably harvest it on March 11th, 3 days after the full moon and also on my birthday, so I hope it will be a nice gift. Cheers!

deFharo Very happy with this strain, clearly an indica plant with a lot of vigor from day one, I harvested it after 117 days from seed. The apex survived 2 FIM prunings and the side branches grew very robust. The trichomes have been very abundant on the flowers and leaves, it has a strong and penetrating smell, the buds are very dense, heavy, and extremely sticky. In the last few weeks, the plant has taken on a dark purple hue that I didn't expect. This grow doesn't need root washing. Now I have it drying in a controlled environment with humidity at 50-55% and a temperature between 10-20°. I'll give more info when the bud is dry and cured. Cheers!!

deFharo An impressive sativa plant with many huge tops, the flowers keep growing and the buds are getting more and more compact. Initially, I plan to harvest it on the 3rd day after the full moon (March 12), but it will depend on the color of the trichomes; for now, most are crystalline and milky. I could also harvest it during the waning moon, that way the flavors and aromas are enhanced and the drying is faster. For nutrition, I follow a varied diet with potassium, phosphorus, ormus, and molasses as the main ingredients.

deFharo I was thinking of harvesting this plant on the 12th, three days after the full moon, but I've decided to wait because it still shows signs of growth and there are no amber trichomes. I would like to take it to April 3rd and harvest it three days after the waxing moon, which is 3 weeks and maybe that's too much, I'll see. For now, this week I've been watering only with rainwater and a bit of honey to lower the pot's EC. Today I watered with a bit of hydro guano, honey, and ormus, and I added solid matter on the surface, a mix of organic and mineral components, hormones, humic and fulvic acids, vitamins, etc., with extra from my latest preparations of dehydrated and ground fruit and potato peels, easy food for the MM that will be available for the waxing moon. This week I will continue watering with pure water, alternating other waterings with my own nutrients at a moderate EC never greater than 800PPM. This way, in the last 10 days or so, I will increase the nutrient supply, mainly phosphorus and potassium. Cheers!!

deFharo I've been watering this plant with very low concentrations of nutrients, alternating them with just rainwater, preparing it for the final stretch of its life, which I estimate to be about 10 more days. I want to harvest it at least 3 days after the waxing moon, but it depends on the signs I see in the trichomes. So far, there are no orange trichomes, and the plant continues to produce white pistils and shows signs of growth in the flowers. This last week, I will be increasing the nutrient concentration, focusing on phosphorus and potassium until the last watering, which will be just water and honey. I've added a new 2700k / 660nm 60w LED light to this cabinet, and it's really bright; I'm happy with it. I've also observed, by measuring the EC of the leftover water in the plate, that the substrate in this pot continues to have an optimal nutrient level. I think the MM does its job efficiently regarding organic matter and minerals in the substrate. Cheers!!

deFharo Today I finally saw the first amber trichomes appear. The plant has 4 days left to live, and I plan to harvest it 3 days after the waxing moon. This week I've increased the nutrient load with a varied diet. Today I only watered with rainwater, honey, and enzymes to prepare for the cut. I’m observing the growth of new isolated flowers on the buds, a very attractive green decoration; if they thrive, I might delay the cut for a couple more days. Cheers!

deFharo It doesn't have a strong smell, I hope it improves with curing. I harvested it 3 days after the waxing moon when the substrate was very dry. Now I have the pot in the sun to sterilize the top of the substrate and let it dry even more so that the MM can sporulate; I will use this soil partly for my next pot as an inoculum of MM. In 10 days, I will weigh the weed. For drying, I'm using a cabinet with humidity control and air circulation. RH: 50%. 20° Weight after 8 days of drying: 201g
