Edit: 1st January 2020 I started playing with making time laps video. You can see the first trial video over 28h period. It starts a bit slow cuz I was still figuring out the shooting interval. The second half of the video is shot with 1 picture every 1,5min, and I love it! Itโ€™s gonna be fun playing with this! ๐Ÿ˜ 31.dec.19 Happy New Year everyone! ๐ŸŽ‰ And let the show begin, the girls are half way and starting to show pistils. Iโ€™m doing my best to tie them down to keep an even canopy. The Ph got finally stabilized at 5.5-5.9, Iโ€™ll start getting it a bit higher next week 5.9-6.2 In order to accommodate them all the ppm seems to be in the sweet spot around 650-700 at this point. It looks like the Criticals could use more, while the slowest of the Gorillas... well, she is slow, so she needs less. The temperature gets a bit low here, but wonโ€™t do anything about it, I donโ€™t want to spend more on the electric bill then I already do. Iโ€™m looking forward for my friend to come and pick up the DWC GZ so I can have some more space to stretch out the rest of the girls. Oh, Iโ€™m working on setting up an old iPhone in there to make time laps videos ๐Ÿคž๐ŸผJust imagine watching those buds fattening up ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Happy growing in the new year! ๐Ÿ€

Hey Katana, unfortunately it is impossible to estimate how much they will stretch. Sometimes you can have 2 plants of the same strain and one will stretch a lot more than the other one. To be on the safe side, you want to expect them to double their height during the flowering stretch. And don't be afraid to defoliated some of those fan leaves that are blocking light to your lower buds. That will help get you more quality tops on them. Good luck!

This is my first time growing in Coco. When should I flush before harvest?

Generally the flush is between 7 to 14 days but coco medium is easy to flush so some peoples are waiting 5 days only.

@Green_Dream, I do not have friendly neighbors, so no outdoor growing ๐Ÿ˜

@Buddha2, Mm.. yeah.. that was my plan as well, one grow a year, but I just canโ€™t help starting a new one ๐Ÿ˜„ ... new strains all the time... and then thereโ€™s summertime time when light is for free, just need some quality autos and friendly neighbors ๐Ÿ˜‚

@Green_Dream, yes, it is crazy. When I started growing, I expected to be forced to do continuous grows, but it turns out that one harvest per year is much more than enough. Even if I mess up one plant ๐Ÿ˜‡

Lovley critical โ˜บ๏ธ Good harvest! Do you trim before drying? I like it to trim them after drying cause the buds have a really nice shape after that and the trimming is more easily i think ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ’ Lookin forward on your RQS grow and outcome!

@Sugahmama, Thank you! ๐Ÿ˜Š I pretty much always trim wet... never did it otherwise, so maybe I should try it next time, I heard from others that it should be easier... but Iโ€™m skeptical ๐Ÿคจ Anyway, thanks for stopping by, Iโ€™m glad you like what you see! ๐Ÿ’š

hello there friend, welcome to growdiaries. A few things to suggest, if I may; 1) PPM of 800 (may be it's a typo) will certainly burn your plants easily at this stage. Start at about 1/3 recommended dose and work your way up. Coco and DWC do not need that much PPM. 2) Please keep your reservoir in darkness or change your bucket to something dark where light cannot penetrate. You are guaranteed to start culturing light loving fungus and it'll add to your chance of getting root rot. 3) If I were you, I'd either get rid of your DWC rig in your small tent or vice versa. Well, first of all, how big is your grow tent? I made many same mistakes as a new grower with excitement and overjoy of growing as many plants as i can. However, DWC plants get so big so quickly and you're growing photoperiod flower, eventually you'll want to start flowering your DWC baby to stop "vegetating". But what about the rest of them who are also photosensitive and have not caught up as fast as the DWC plant. will you put them into flowering when they're still immature? Either way, that one DWC plant will fill up at least half of your grow tent. May be I'm wrong but seems like you have a limited space. 4) Now for the rest of your 5 plants, if you do decide to get rid of DWC, then I'd vegetate, at the most, 4 weeks. Either way it seems like you have coco as your base and using automated waterfeeding system - you will grow very fast. Not just as fast as DWC though. 5) Solution temp is a little too low in my opinion. I'd bring it to low 60s or mid 60s. 5) Gorilla Zkittlez grow very very skinny and tall so be careful. cheers mate.
