Weekly Updates:
12/9- Already starting to see some purple on the leaves. everything is good.
Day 8-Some pretty rapid growth going on here headed into week 2. Been using rhizotonic as a foliar spray lightly before lights off every other 3rd night roughly. GDP A is growing very "tight" compared to her sis A is also showing some purpling on the fan leaves already.
Day 10- Growing strong 💪 A is still growing really tight compared to its sis
Day 12- Nothing but smiles =)))
Day 14- Everything looks great and finishing the week out strong. Watered every other day with distilled water. Plant A is a lot smaller than B and also a lot tighter
I have been using 100% distilled water with 2 foliar feeds with rhizotonic a week I will continue that regimen this week and then begin adding nutrients slowly to my waterings next week.
Day 16- Things are looking great still. Growing like little monsters
Day 17- Watered with tap water PHed to 6.2 instead of distilled water. Foliar fed with Rhizotonic, 21%RH and pretty hot at 82F right before lights out
Day 19- Watered thoroughly with PH'd tap water (6.5 ph/ 77F/ 31% RH)
Day 21- First nutrient feed with nectar for the gods advanced line and did foliar spray right before lights out
Day 22- starting off week 4 right after a nutrient feed. Plants look like they handled it well! I find it funny that Plant A is incredibly compact and Plant B is the exact opposite! Im not sure why but I love them equally!! aha . Raised the light up to 20" above and still just some minor LST
Day 24- Each plant is expressing itself differently which is so cool to watch. A is so tight and round almost like a bush while B is stretchy and "Open". Not sure why or what happened to cause this but nothing I can do but watch 😎
Day 26- Added a humidifier because its winter in New England and my apartments WIKED dry. Using distilled water in the humidifier. Up to around 45 which is good. Plant growth is exploding thanks to my new light 😍
***Upgrade Update****
Just added a spider farm sf2000 qb to the tent and it really looks like my plants love it! im so stoked
These two GDP plants from MSNL are awesome! they are really expressing different personalities. GDP A is growing very tight and compact still but exploding with growth and GDP B is also exploding with growth but is very open and growing very big compared to all my other autos. Cool to see different phenos and since they are both doing well it doesn't bother me.
Day 28 (81.3F-41%RH)
GDP A-558 ppm/ 6.44 ph
GDP B-374 ppm/ 6.45 ph
Day 32-( 71F-40% RH )
Had to move GDP B into my 3x3 tent. Its probably better anyways since the light is stronger and real full spectrum. We will see what happens to her. Its so crazy how massive this one is getting vs its sister who is so compact. This is really cool and unique!
Day 35- Did first flower feed on day 33 and two foliar feed w/ bloom khaos between day 28-35
Starting week 6 both plants are growing well. A and B are expressing different phenotypes still but both are growing super well. I purchased some Mammoth P at my local hydro shop so I'm curious to see how this will help.
Day 36- Watered with .6 mL MammothP phd to 6.4 w/100%distilled water. 👍
Day 38- Watered again with .6 ml gallon of Mammoth p @ 6.4 ph.
Day 40- NFTG Early Flower feed w/bloom khaos in water and no foliar feed. Temps lower in this tent around 75 then my other one but the plants don't seem to mind it under the insanely strong SF2000.
Got a wattage meeter to test my LED lights. This spider farm claims 202W from the wall and I measure 198W so it was relatively accurate.
so these ladies are basking under the SF2000 by spider farmer. I am doing feeds with Mammoth P every watering / continue with NFTG nutrient feed. I have a humidifier but its set up in my veg tent with seedlings so im choosing too spray with distilled water at this point at lights off with magnesium (epsom salt) since the LEDs are very strong im taking precautions and supplementing the magnesium so deficiencies don't occur. The leaves look really healthy to me with only a few of the oldest leaves yellowing.
Day 43- The tent is sitting at 38RH% and 78ish F. The New England weather is so indecisive and its make me loose my mind but luckily my tents have stayed dialed in a are painting steady consilient temps. Growth looks great on these ladies but its still so crazy to me these are the same genetics. They are exact opposites of each other imo I prefer the large wise open structure pheno because it easier to maintain and I don't need to defoliate / stress the plant.
Day 45-NFTG feed W/Mammoth P 6.5 ph
Day 47- NFTG feed W/Mammoth P 6.5 ph
Day 48-They are very thirsty! i'm feeding .40-50 gallons a day at this point. im noticing a little lock up so I might hit her with the Fox Farms SledgeHammer tomorrow on day 49 or day 50 depending on how thirsty she looks ! it makes sense that its getting a little water locked because I fed with the NFTG twice and it tends to gunk things up more in general.
Starting week 8 with a big compost tea flush. Flushed each plant with an entire gallon. I also lowered the light a little bit trying to get canopy penetration without having to defoliate. Im not sure if I will start to defoliate this week or next week.
The runt plant is still growing pretty dense buds. There isn't a need for mega defoliation since the SF2000 penetrates the canopy very well. The buds on the underside are all plumping up very nicely. Plant B is huge but the buds them selves aren't massive , just very long. I am curious to see the difference in weight between this place and the runt one because the runt has denser buds! Keeping the feed simple this week after a very heavy week last week. The girls are eating though because the PPMs are decreasing, I just don't want to go about 650 with this nutrient line its best to stay between 400-500 ppm. Ph is a solid 6.7 on both plants which was great to see since PH management is a top priority of mine and often takes up the most time when feeding so its good to see hard work pay off!
*Switched to Late Flower feed for NFTG this week , Fed twice, compost tea once, and neutral water with mammoth p in
between.Day 57 - 78F/45RH%/
Plant A= 450 PPM/ 6.5ph
Plant B= 428 PPM/ 6.5ph
. I went away for a week and came back to this plant healthy as ever (thanks to my wonderful girl friend who watered them on my strict schedule haha). I lowered the sf2000 but it kinda burned my plants a bit so I brought the light up. I purchased recharge and cal mag to add on top my my mammoth P. Mammoth P is like a laser guided missile aimed towards targeting phosphorus growth while Recharge is like a bomb with many microbial benefits for the soil.
2/10/20- NFTG advanced nutrient feed at late flower point. 2nd to last feed
2/12/20- Watered with Recharge (double the strength), Cal Mag, and Mammoth P at 6.5 Ph
2/15/20- Hit heavy with bush doctor.....and so begins the flush =)
Day 71- Starting week 7 of flowering with these 2 GDPS nearing the end! I have 2 different phenos but they both formed really dense sticky buds so kudos to MSNL for that. GDP A is a snowy gdp with slight purps but GDP B really shows the purple pheno well and the leave progression is really pretty cool. I will continue to go light on waterings and sledgehammer it 2 more times this week. 💪
Day 73- Another big flush for these girls. Its crazy to see both these plants side by side. I did the same training on each one and changed no feedings up but one obviously was very open and grew HUGE while the other grew very tight and compact but still very vigorously in its own special way ;)
Day 77- Its the last week and we are still going strong. GDP B is getting to heavy for itself so im supporting it with tomato wire and lening them against each other ahaha. One pheno is extremely purple and MASSIVE while the other is frosty green and very compact. really excited to see the yield on these ladies =)
Day 78-79- No watering today . Put them under the scope tonight . Majority of trichomes are cloudy with amber ones spread out here and there.
Day 80-Thorugh 2 gallon rinse each with warm water.
Day 83- Switch to 100% darkness SHES READY!
My overall impressions of this strain from MSNL:
Ive noticed that MSNL genetics tend to switch to flower earlier than all the ther autos i've grown. The initial growth on the plant starts out small going into flowering but then it starts to explode in growth. Because of the fast flip I start my feed at week 3, I used the full NFTG advanced feed, but only at 1/2 the recommended amounts of the early veg schedule they made. This plan of attack worked out well with these plants and by week 5 they could handle the full Nute schedule. A proper flush was needed at-least twice a week during the flowering period. It is a lot of work to maintain PH and soil PPM but its essential with the NFTG and if you do it right you WILL get rewarded with Danky goodness.
I did the same exact training for each of these plants but right off the bat it was clear I had two very different phenos. Plant A grew very compact with extremely tight node spacing and barely getting to a foot in height by flowering. She was kind of tricky to train initially but I was successful at LST and light defoliation and that was pretty much the extent of the training she had. She grew to be short, stout, and plump AF with way frostier trichomes then her sister. Plant B was real easy to LST because she grew with a very wide open body type to begin with, the polar opposite of Plant A to be frank 😂. I was able to shape her easily and It seemed very successful due to the sure size of her buds ! I had close to 10 main colas on her that ranged from 6-10 inches long and she started to tilt over cuz of the weight towards the very end 😅
Overall I would definitely recommend using LST to some extent with these genetics because of the small initial growth you get at first. Start the nutes sooner than later. maybe week 3, but at half the strength. Feeding the soil would be a good idea right from the get go. Mammoth P is a cool microbe that targets phosphorus directly and recharge will slam pack your substrate with beneficial microbes and ive noticed a very clear difference after incorporating these into my NFTG feed. Another thing I did that seemed to help was weekly epsom salt (magnesium sulfate) sprays on top of my bloom khaos foliar sprays. I didn't deal with any deficiencies at all this time around following this feeding regiment 👌I also didn't notice any popcorn nugs on any of my stalks and I contribute that to my feeding schedule and the Spider Farmer SF2000 202W qb , that thing seriously blew these plants up! would recommend 100% !!

*UPDATES*
March 1st- I removed the two GDPS from 32 hours of darkness and chopped branches to hang and dry. Plant B had a wet weight of 19.9 oz! while Plant A finished at 12.1 oz wet(this is with branches and leaves still on obviously). Im attempting hang drying for the first time because my drying conditions will work better with this method. Im using my flower tent with the inline fan/charcoal filter for air circulation. Also gives me the ability to dry in complete darkness.
March 7th-Trimmed both plants today after hanging for 5 days at 40%RH 62-68F. Plant A yielded 1.9 oz (54 grams) dry and Plant B yielded 3.5 oz (98 grams) so a grand total of 152 grams !!
March 14th(1 week of cure/burping)- flavor update 1 week in of curing .. Pheno B is putting out huge diesel and berry aromas almost a little herby but mostly berries/diesel . Flavor is nice with hints of incense , berries, and diesel .. really good joint smoking week. Pheno A is completely different Than B , I do not get any diesel / berry smells at all its more of a fresh pine / herby smell. Im more keen for Pheno Bs smell because its more pungent and stands out a lot more but they both make excellent smokes and get me super stoned!
March 20th(2 weeks of cure) - Yup this stuff is great. I love rolling Js with this shit because it gets me right where I need to be without needing any more. I can't believe how dense I got these nugs to be compared to my last run. I incorporated c02 into this grow half way through so maybe that helped achieve the density but one small nug fills my grinder up with fluffy danky bud!!
Match 31st- (4 weeks of cure) - Both phenotypes ended up fantastically dense. One little nug fills the grinder 100% I would say this is the perfect smoke for anxiety and relation. The green pheno didnt have a berry flavor at first but the berries definitely come out. Both phenos have different aromas but similar tastes for sure. im still undecided on which pheno I like more. The purple one stacked up huge colas and out weighed the green pheno but the terps on the green pheno are way more pronounced and I even think the high is a little more intense.
April 7th- (5 weeks of cure)- The money spot. all this weed is premium quality compared to my friends "street purchase" bud. I am giving this away to multiple friends and I can't get them to stop bothering me for more haha. Definitely a great relaxation aid and sleepy time medicine if that's what you need, seems like most ppl need their night smoke before bed these days so this is the strain they need! 100%
