This week is showing a sudden halt to her stretch. This is good, however. She has got quite branchy and a little lanky up top. It’s time for her to settle down and start paying attention to her flowers.
I didn’t fertilize this week with the top dressing, simply because the schedule says to fertilize every other week. I did water her in one time with a mixture of molasses and Epsom salts, simply to feed the microbes in the soil so they can provide some of the flowering nutrients she is wanting. The Epsom salts were obviously for a magnesium boost.
She still isn’t smelling too strongly, but she doesn’t have any trichomes yet. I suspect next week at this time will have her showing some. I look forward to catching a whiff of her terpenes.
I also added an oscillating fan to the tent to improve air circulation. I expect this to dilute any terpenes that may be diffusing into the air.
I have to hand it to Spiff Seeds. I’m an old school cannabis fan. I appreciate that breeders are creating new strains, but I really feel most comfortable with the strains I grew up with.
I am fully expecting to have a few trichomes to show next week as her flowers rapidly mature. Simply a beautiful plant. I am glad I took the advice of Spliff verbatim, she definitely would overgrow a tent if not topped and flowered very early. She is a brute, but I feel she is also a gentle giant.
After looking at theses pics I can't wait to crop this now just potted 5 amnesiac and 5 strewberry... 24hr in coco still all a no show but few week it will be flying... Well done on the crop as well g sf
@Blueboy2019, Thank you for the compliments! It really is a nice strain. No drama, for me at least. I am all organic, and she really seems to enjoy her food. I can't speak to any other nutes. I wish you the best! Happy gardening!
