Using RO water with hydroguard and GH rapidstart spray to keep em moist. Just moved the dome into the flowering tent with my unknown bad seed female in week 3 of flower just to see how they will act under a 400w Cob. The dome has been under a low watt cfl for the last 5 days. Basically I'm still on my first grow of which a friend started in August and I got 5 plants from him who started the seeds in soil and he gave them to me at the beginning of September. So they were almost a month old and then I transplanted all to hydro DWC and had a little shock but all grew out wonderful and strong. By mid October they were showing pre-flowers and all being unknown bag seeds I only had one female out of the group smh. Long story short, was disappointed and ordered only feminized seeds from seedsman to start this Royal Gorilla strain. The one in flower is out growing my 2x4x5 tent but I'm about to finish my basement room in which will have a 4x4x7 tonight and she will go in there and the Royal, Widow, and clones of her will be in the 2x4x5 veg tent until ready to flower. Well this is my first journal and please enjoy and follow.
The end of week 3 flower and these girls are packing on some buds. Using Z7 and Recharge for my microbes. Just added two more girls to room. Platinum Banana and Seedmans Critical. Looks like I went and little over board on the pictures but hope you enjoy. I will have a cool time lapse video at the end of harvest. Well best of luck on everyone grows.
End of day 27 flower for White Widow and Royal Gorilla. White Widow seems to be packing on more weight then RG but both are starting to get frostier by the day.
Day 3 flower for Platinum Banana and Critical. They are showing flowers now
Lollipop all 4 girls and changed all reservoirs to fresh nutrients.
WAiting to refill my CO2 tank so these girls can pack on my weights.

End of day 35 flower
Had an issue with cal/mag deficiency with the White Widow so I had to flush her and increase cal/mag to 5ml/gal. So she should be back on track to produce fatter buds.
Royal Gorilla isn't fattening up so hopefully she will this coming week. Also gave her a good flush with some florakleen.
Defloiated so the buds on the bottom can get more light. Thanks for taking the time to check on my grow. Peace out!!
End of day 41 flower and will be flushing both girls on day 42 flower. Overall the buds don’t seem as fat as it should be but hopefully during the flush they should gain some weight. I took a bunch of clones so those will be going to flower soon and now I have a better understanding of how to treat these girls during the flowering stage. Also popped two Blueberry seeds so I will have a journal on that soon.
End of day 48 flower and girls are super frosted. Took a sample from day 42 flower of White Widow and it was one of the best I EVER smoked with a head punch right after the smoke leaves your mouth. It was incredible and can’t imagine how she’s gonna be after harvest. Might harvest half early and half late to get the best of both worlds.
Still feeding them nutes and will slowly drop down as the days count down towards harvest. Will also be turning down the daylight time from 12/12 to 11/13 to 10/14 to 9/15 to 8/16 and then 72 hrs of darkness. I plan on getting the most resin out of her as possible. End with a split stem and ice cold water.
End of day 54 flower.
Trimmed off all fan leaves on day 49.
Day 54 moved both girls to a 4x2x5 tent where they will be following there new light schedule until harvest time. They will know winter is coming and start producing more trichomes with low humidity, cold water, less sunlight, lower heat, and then stab her on the main stem before the final day to be cut down. Still feeding them nutes and will probably flush around day 60. Trichomes are still clear and will be watching until they turn 30-40% Amber and then get the cut. Thanks for stopping by. Peace out ✌️
End of day 61 flower.
Both girls have been sitting in the dark since Yesterday @8pm. Will be taking them down on Thursday afternoon. Split the stem on both and flushed with florakleen for 3 days and now only on RO water. Adding a few ice cubes to the solution 2 or 3 times per day to keep the temp down. The last 12 hours remaining I will take all the water out of both buckets to let them know that the end is near and hopefully get some more frost from that. It’s been over 120 days since these two got seeded together and it’s been one hell of a journey. I got a bunch of clones off them and will have more grows on those coming up soon. I’ve learn a lot about what these girls like and hope to get a better yield with the clones. Next update will be the harvest. Take care and thanks for following along. 🤗
This Gorilla is super potent. One hit is all you need. She grew really easy and is very resistant to high ppm and high temperatures. Buds were fluffy but I believe it was from my environment somehow. Got clones from her that are in flower now and I’m hoping I can get tighter buds on them. She smells very very danky of dark Chocolate and tastes like dark chocolate too. I will be taking clones off of every grow to keep this strain going. Overall very pleased with RSQ Royal Gorilla.
Great strain if you want really high THC content. Great for insomnia and pain. You definitely want to be at home when you smoke this strain because you will be couch locked for a good hour or two.
This is my favorite strain so far. I love the clear head high that you get from her. The smell is of a piney citrus and has the same taste with a really smooth intake. She doesn’t like it when the temperatures get high so make sure the lights aren’t too close when growing. Will definitely keep this strain in rotation.
@TheMachinist,exactly right on that one Edwardo!!! Also gonna do 72 hours of darkness and then the stab and harvest the day after. Will have the update on the progress pretty soon.
@biggreens420, yup this is my official 2nd grow, started beginning of September of 2017. Learned a bunch and started with DWC and now trying out coco coir grow. But this will be my first harvest and I think I should get a pretty good yield on each plant. I’m letting them go for about 7-10 more days and then there getting the chop. Its look incredible 💪 I am currently in the middle of week 13, and I would like to use your time change technique. I think it's a great sign for them that the end is close. Your crop looks really great.

@Darkmanx, thanks for the comment. Defoliated all fan leaves to try to see if the buds will fatten up during the last week, so I’ll see if it works or not. Pretty much doing a test and trial grow. Since I’m growing in DWC I believe the nutrient uptake should be good but that does make since on the fan leaves for faster uptake.
Congratulations on both bro! My Royal Gorilla smells more like diesel. Didn’t get that dark chocolate aroma unfortunately. Will definitely try the White Widow from Seedsman in the future. Thank you for the great feedback!
