This is my first attempt at growing a CBD strain, also a Blue Dream variety. I've heard some people says that their cbd plants finished earlier than their other non cbd plants, so I'm excited to see any possible differences. I decided to grow this small test plant because I think my mom could use a lower thc, higher cbd cannabis.....that too is just a guess and we'll see if it's beneficial and if so I'll just keep trying out more cbd strains. So far this week the seed let out its taproot in 2 days under the towel method. It broke ground after 2 days more in soil with Plant Success Mycorrhizal fungi. And continued to grow higher each day. I'm keeping humidity high using a make shift humidity dome. At day 7 its was a nice short little seedling. Happy growing everyone. ✌️

Since this is a test run plant in many ways I'm just gonna keep it nice and simple. A relatively short vegetative growth period, not do any topping or fim, and just see what she can do. Trying to keep the humidity high when you live in a 10-30% area gets difficult. Happy growing everyone. ✌️

Nice increase in height this week with many beautiful new growth nodes. If i was going to Top, I'd do it here soon, but this gals gonna be mostly au natural. Still getting just the cfl bulbs for now while she's small so I can watch her closely. Already some amazing big fan leaves on her. Humboldt Seed Organization has this Blue Dream CBD labeled at a 1:1 ratio. Which can hopefully bring in a thc and cbd percentage of 10. I'll be on the lookout for smells of berries, pepper and citrus. Happy growing everyone. ✌️

Whoa! You see those roots popping out of the bottom of the cup? Yikes! I let her get a little root bound in there...should've transplanted last week. Got her switched into the bigger final pot. It's not big, just a gallon but I wanted to keep this plant small anyway. She's had some pretty big fan leaves and I'm sure I'll defoliate along the way. Also a couple yellow leaves but they're the bottom single finger leaves and I usually see those die off. Hope everyone's had a good 2019.

What a busy week. I did typical plant maintenance, watering, a little LST but was very bad and didn't get any photos. My apologies. There's always gonna be a rough week or two along the way. ✌️

Let the flowering begin! I think a 6 week veg period is more than enough for this little gal. She's already proving to be a strong and big plant for her size. I figured if I flip her to the 12/12 now she'll still stay a reasonable height. The lst I did was just some "no technique " tying of the main stem down. I also did some small defoliation of those biggest fan leaves and some lower branches. She had a couple leaves that didn't look to perfect so I made sure to add in some cal-mag and double check the Green Buzz chart and started to add a small dose of bloom and fast buds. I should have been adding the fast buds supplement a bit sooner than i did, but it still seemed worth it to give at least a week of it. Happy growing everyone. Have a safe new years ✌️

Healthy and strong seems to be the theme for this Blue Dream CBD. Amazing strong branches and crazy big leaves. My goal was to let is grow naturally and not do any training, but also to keep it relatively small. I have at least succeeded in keeping it smaller than a normal photoperiod plant and i haven't done anything more than slightly tie the main stem down a little bit. Eventually I removed it's LST and have let it do it's own thing. Ive had it up on a plant stand so it can at least get good light since lowering the lights isn't an option. The plant is handling the Green Buzz nutrient line very well, and other than adding a silica product and a calmag supplement it's stayed mostly greenbuzz. Starting flowering is a fun part of the grow and other than doing some light defoliation I'll continue to let her be. Happy growing everyone ✌️

Nice easy grow week. Following the "professional" Green Buzz products guide and it's working great on this plant. A couple additional things like silica and calmag and this is one happy plant. Did some small defoliation to the bottom of the plant and got rid of the lowest branches and leaves. Unfortunately my tent is pretty crowded at the moment and it's not giving all the plants the best light they could under less cramped circumstances. I've tried adjusting the plant on a stand or not and it seems up on stand is the best chance to give her moderate light. The next grow i think I'll either stick to just 2 plants at a time or do a few very small ones. Thanks for keeping eyes on my Mama grow. ✌️

Hell's Bells! Flowering Stretch Much!? Sheesh 6 inches in 1 week! My goodness. I guess she was just powering up over the last 2 weeks to blast off this 3rd week of flowering! I really didn't expect this burst of growth since she'd already gone through 2 weeks of flowering, so I decided I'd better get creative and figure out how to keep her on a level with other plants in the tent. I like to think of this training technique as the " Bend and Snap" but HST, Super cropping whatever you'd like to call it works. Basically I just pinched and pinched her main stem until it was weakened and then slowly bent it over until it was nearly a 90 degree angle. I then propped the bend up with a stick and a clothes pin so it wouldn't snap or minimal breakage. So far the plant handled it like a champ..no damaged or dying leaves and all happy bud sites. Since this one did not "snap" I will need to keep her tied down so she doesn't try to just spring up straight again. All in all a very successful week, excellent growth, happy leaves and bud sites, perfect high stress training (even though i did plan for the plant to be grown in a more natural pattern.), and a little bit of defoliation of those crazy big fan leaves she's had. Happy growing everyone. ✌️

What an amazing plant this has been! I'm seriously so impressed at how strong, resilient, and beautiful this one has grown....it's a rare day i can think of a grow that's gone almost entirely perfect. Thank you Humboldt Seeds for your hard work in creating these seeds. I know the grow isn't over yet...but I'm just so happy everytime I look at this girl. She's handled the super cropping incredibly well. Not a single break or crack as far as i can see, and the top most part hasn't suffered at all from being bent over. I did my 1st attempt at a clone for this plant and we'll see how it goes. Happy January all.✌️

Well...we're moving nice and smoothly along. In a few short weeks we'll be well into chopping this lovely lady down. From what I could tell from HSO's website, this strains flowers in maybe 9-10 weeks roughly. So we're at least half way there. I added in a TNB Naturals enhancer bottle of CO2 because I just had one around and read it can be beneficial during flower.. the only downfall was I later saw it's most helpful during the 2/3 weeks of flowering, so I added it a bit later than recommended. Mostly it was just for experiment and to start clearing out my mud room. The plants continuing to put on weight and slowly has pistils changing colors so the next few weeks will be the most exciting part to watch as it matures. Happy growing everyone thanks for watching.

Week 6 of flowering. What an amazing week of flowering this has been! The buds are nice and formed and we're finally getting the pistils changing colors and curling. There's still a little while to go but wow it's incredible how much progress the plants can make in just 1 week. So I'm sure the end will be sneaking right up on us very fast. The super cropped tip is still very healthy but I probably could have tied it down more securely because it definitely has tried to start growing upwards. I would have thought that after it got bent so severely it wouldn't have been able to straighten out as much as it has. But it's been a good lessen in how to do it better in the future. I'm excited to watch the next weeks of growth and even more excited to test the strain out when she's finished. Happy growing ✌️

Well... I think I sort of messed up this last week. This plant has been nothing but beautiful and healthy but now I'm seeing some slight spotting on the leaves. I think I started to feed less cal-mag and she must be need a consistent diet of it, at least that's what it mainly looks like to me. Possibly a slight bit a tip burn also, but I've been moderate with nutrients. Perhaps my ph pen is due for to be recalibrated also just for checking the accuracy. When my last pen went haywire on me it's made me a little paranoid of ph problems. But leaf troubles aside, the buds are coming along beautifully. They've got gorgeous trichromes and orange pistils are coming in. So all in all she's at least maturing nicely still. I believe that this strain has a harvest window around 10 weeks of flowering and that gives us another 2+ weeks to start watching the rapid change from white pistils bud sites to nice gorgeous sparkly orange ones. I will say her smell has started to get stronger and it makes me think of a flowery smell. Cheers to the next few weeks. Happy harvesting and growing to everyone. ✌️

Hey everyone, Who's grown a cbd related strain and had seeds pop up at harvest or hermie traits, nanners etc.? With or without any forms of stress(light leaks, etc.). Curious how many people besides me.

I harvested a CBD Crack plant by Fast Buds a month ago, found some nanners in it,also found some very immature seeds. No light leak,no harsh conditions,no stress and it was all green till the end.But this happens...I won't be using them as they are too immature but to be honest I don't care about seeds in my buds.I just throw them away unless I know they are useful. And yeah,I noticed them at harvest

This has been such a great plant to watch and grow. Up until the recent leaf issues it's been a pretty easy, problem free grow. The spotted, rust colored leaves made me think of a calcium issue...so I made sure to be measuring extra careful, and not forgetting any nutrients. Unfortunately the leaves haven't gotten better, and its still affecting more leaves, so I'm fairly positive it's down to ph, so I bought some more calibration powder so I can check my pen. It'll be a few days but I'll get to the bottom of it soon. The buds are still changing pistils and trichromes. I think I saw a few amber trichromes but it was on sugar leaves instead of right on the buds, so I don't think they're quite finished maturing. I've been aiming in the 9-10 week flowering range mentioned by Humboldt seed organization, but will cut sooner or later depending on the buds. Happy growing everyone. ✌️

As usual it's been both an amazing week and an incredibly awful week. Lol. I think that pretty much sums up all of my growing experiences. No matter how hard I try, I still have bad things pop up. At the beginning of this week I noticed late one night when the plant should be sleeping...that i see the Light is on! During the dark period! When I decided to turn off one of my leds after harvesting another grow, I must have bumped the timer, because 2 pins were barely pushed halfway down, enabling the lights to turn on with the timer for 1 hour in the middle of the 12 hour dark period! I was so angry and frustrated I could have kicked myself! All i could think about was plants going hermaphrodite from light leaks...will this ruin the plant...how did I hit those pieces and make it turn on.. so many exhausting thoughts. However the plant is so close to being harvested I figure I stand a good chance of avoiding anything too bad happening. I ordered ph powder to recalibrate the pen, and when it arrived I found that the pen was indeed off by at least .2 or more. So she has been watered outside my usual 6.6 range. So this accounts for the recent leaf problems...inaccurate PH. Fortunately this is fixed now for future grows. On the positive side the plant is definitely ready to be harvested. Her buds finally got a nice amount of amber trichromes. The buds are feeling very solid and dense, which isn't usual for me. The smell has gotten very strong but I can't really pick up much more than a generally beautiful cannabis smell. I started to give her plain water and Greenbuzz Clean Fruits to break down any extra nutrients laying around and eventually changed to plain properly ph'ed water for the last couple days. I'm planning to cut her down in the next day. I'm extremely grateful that she's ready to harvest and will hopefully get a nice batch for such a small and short timed grow. Thanks to everyone for glancing at this diary and all the useful advice/ information. Happy Growing and Harvesting.

This Blue Dream cbd has been a very strong and resilient plant from day 1. It grew fast, healthy and had perfect spacing between nodes which made light penetration even and accessible even in crowded grow spaces. I think it would be an easy plant for anyone to grow regardless of indoors or out. I originally wanted to let this grow keep it's apically dominant shape but when I realized It would be better to have it's height changed I ended up using a HST super cropping technique which went perfect; no broken branches and fast adjustment to it's newly bent state. With the minimal training it was exciting to see that the majority of the flowera had a good dense feel to them and when trimmed there was minimal removed and even fewer larf buds. This has been my first indoor plant to such a high percentage of have solid buds. Approximately 1/6 of the weight was larf buds and trim. In the last couple weeks the smell got nice and strong. After the harvest it mostly smelled like herbal flowery cleaning products...that seems strange but that's definitely what came to mind, unfortunately there isn't a smell option for "cleaning products" or something like that. Now for the negative parts that happened towards the end. The plant did suffer some nutrient problems because of the ph being off and that caused a lot of ugly looking leaves. Then about 7 days before harvest i had 1 hour of lighting problems. While chopping the plant down I started seeing small white areas at the base of the bottom most buds.....Nanners, several of them. Some had already opened and I could see bits of pollen coming out. I removed what I could and then let the plant dry as usual. Then a few days later when I began trimming I also started to find seeds, however they are not immature pale tiny seeds...they're fully developed brown stripey seeds. How could 7 days manage to develop so many viable looking seeds? Unless they were not caused by my light turning on, but some other stress or genetic related issue? The only issue this gives me is whether or not to let one grow outdoors over a long summer where it could potentially pollinate other plants. Overall the positives of this plant greatly outweigh the negatives and I definitely will grow it again. Even with the nanners and the seeds, the plant was beautiful, tasty, bulky, and just the right amount of stoney. After everything was complete I was able to use trim and some smaller buds to whip up some cannabutter. I can't remember the last time i did this and it was so much fun! It wasn't the perfect butter, and still had some cannabis taste...but I'll give myself a pass since it's been so long, plus it still made for nice stoney cookies. Thanks for everyone's advice and attention to this diary. Happy growing and harvesting. ✌️
