Week 3 has been a major improvement, I made a lot of mistakes with these plants and they're finally starting to exhibit healthy growth again after two weeks of not so much. It started at the early phases when they were still in solo cups and I was bottom feeding them all in the same container. I overfed one day leading to saggy dark leaves and some plants that fell over, then I adjusted it and they recovered. After that I believe I transplanted early and into too large of pots for their size/where I want to go, so I overwatered the plants and some leaves had nearly died, I still have a couple plants with some damage on them but I'm confident enough in how things are going now so hopefully they keep growing well. Especially after adding the Roots Excelurator and upping the CalMag in my nutes to full strength things have looked much better. Worries of mine moving forward are transplanting/training. I planned to transplant into 5 gallon fabric pots but I also have to train them and don't want to transplant after starting that process, depending on how healthy they look in 3-4 days I may transplant/train them then and do it on the same day. I'll take pictures of any major changes to the plants/environment. For any of those curious the seeds are from The Unofficial Good Guys (TUGG for short), I found them searching forums online and took the plunge, but I don't believe they're available on larger sites that I know of. The seeds seem to be producing strong plants considering how much they've recovered from so we'll see how it turns out!

This week has been going well for these plants. They don't suck up a lot of water, so despite being busier with the holidays I was able to keep them in good healthy order. The Crow plant seems to be growing the tallest, I think it may be a sativa dominant strain, but it was a freebie strain and I don't have a ton of information on it. I plan to flip in a week and a half to two weeks, I want to transplant to larger pots (5 or 7 gal) in a few days when the plants have recovered some from topping, then on that day transplant them, train them, and flip them after a few more days of recovery from transplant. I don't think I am going to scrog these plants, it gets in the way of my access to them as the grow moves forward and I feel as though with a little more effort I can achieve similar results with LST. I also started 5 fastberry plants from FastBuds that I'll be documenting soon, they were put in solo cups 24h ago so I'm going to give them a week or so before beginning a diary. Happy new year everyone, good luck growing in 2020!

This week has been great, the plants are looking healthy and sucking up a lot of nutrients, I'm about to raise from 1000ppm to about 1200ppm because the runoff is coming off at around 800. They're growing in size and now I'm just waiting until day 21 to do another heavy defoliation, I'm trying the 1/21/45 rule that's why you see a stripped down plant in the one pic, that's from the beginning of the week. I changed my nutrient plan around from my last grow and my plants seem to be loving it. Sorry I don't have a lot of photos I've been working hard on the plants but I neglect to take many. These photos are from the night of 1-25 and the night of 1-19, I'm very excited for the stretch of these and to see how they end up turning out because they've been going very steady for a while now. I dropped 2 of the plants because they started showing male traits, but the other 8 are still doing great and thankfully the crow is still up since I only had one of those! I wish I could clone the crow strain but I will be moving after this harvest and don't know how I'd maintain it. I'm currently watering 2-3 times a day, I have a 55 gallon reservoir, sump pump, hose, and watering wand that I recently purchased that makes watering easier. I'm working on adding an easier way to manage drainage or potentially adding an auto watering mechanism because the plants are enjoying multiple watering. I also included a picture of the roots from transplant day which was 1-18 just to see if they look good or not. They seem okay, I think the plants are healthier now than they were around then after switching my feeding regimen.

Not much has happened this week just a little stretching! It turns out I don’t know how to tell sex well quite yet, 3 more turned out to be males but now I’m sure these are all female plants because they’re growing white hairs! The crow is growing way taller than the other ones so I tried so very very low stress training without any proper bending, just pulling it more to the side slightly. Since I don’t want to stress it out too much that’s why it’s still slightly taller than the rest. Another one is definitely shorter than the rest, I think when I defoliate I may have not done as well on that because all of them popped up except that one after a big defoliation. I changed nutrients (again) to Jacks 321 blend. After a lot of research this seems to be a very affordable, simple nutrient regimen that will allow me to do a perpetual setup with minimal mixing because for those who don’t know, with Jack’s you feed the same thing for the majority of the plants life, and early on in it’s life you just dilute the 3-2-1 formula to a lower percentage. The plants are loving it so far, I was worried about switching nutrient brands mid grow but it’s going to save me a lot of time with the other two grows that are starting. I’ll keep this posted but as of now I recommend the Jack’s 321 nutrient mix for ease of use. I’ll upload pictures of my new plants soon, they were turning yellow and not looking great but seem to be turning around after using jack’s instead of general hydro. All I’m looking at now are microbes I could add, I used Photosynthesis Plus on my last grow and I think it made a difference, so I plan to pick up more because I used it all, but it seems like adding Mammoth P, Tribus, Great White, Recharge, or something as well would help greatly but I’m having difficulty deciding which to choose. I have FastBerry from FastBuds as well as 3 Bears OG and Double Grape from Mephisto popping up this week, stay tuned! :)

This week has been more smooth sailing, I’m surprised by the look and ease of these plants. I think 2/5 hermed due to a light on my power strip, they were directly next to that and showed sacks earlier than the others that were males, this is just a guess but assuming they would’ve turned female 70% for regular seeds seems like good results. My humidity needs to be raised but at the moment I can’t add a humidifier to all my tents so this will have to ride the wave I think they’ll be okay. I added Photosynthesis Plus to my feeding regimen, I like using this for the full cycle but I ran out for a while and recently bought more. I have been loving the Jack’s formula and doing 321 is super easy. I’m very excited for these to be finished, I feel like I’m talking to myself because these aren’t from a popular breeder but if you’re reading this I’d recommend these seeds so far they’ve been a breeze and the crow is looking superb.

No complaints at all. These plants are growing beautifully. Next week I plan to defoliate one more time then nothing else until the end. The GDPxBubblegum straight up smells like grapes it’s incredible I can’t wait to smoke it. To be honest I was skeptical of the unofficial good guys but these plants so far have been phenomenal.

This strain grew wonderfully until the end, I harvested it a little earlier than I’d hoped because I ended up with some nanners on her. I didn’t want to risk pollinating the GDP since they’re still pretty young so I took the crow out, I don’t see any seeds or nanners on the gdp so far so I’m hoping to keep it that way. Regardless the trichomes were almost ready surprisingly, I feel like it was pretty quick but I saw mostly milky and a tiny bit of amber when I looked with a scope so it’ll still be a good smoke. Other than that, it grew very vigorously and never really had any issues. It smells amazing and the nugs are slightly smaller than I’d generally like but they look great in quality. Will update with dry weight when dried and trimmed. Hoping to pull down the other plants in a few weeks, they’re looking thick

The GDP plants look and smell gorgeous I can’t wait to smoke these. This week was a breeze, just fed and watched as they grew. Expecting two more weeks hopefully no more but we shall see

Amazing week with these plants. I had concerns about finding seeds after seeing some nanners in The Crow but so far so good, they’ve been plumping up nicely and smelling AMAZING. Never smelled weed that is so grape like. I can’t wait to chop these down, I’m guessing 1 more week tops on the right two plants, but the front left hasn’t even started getting orange pistils yet so it could be another 2-3 weeks maybe even more but I hope it’s not too much longer than the rest. I didn’t change anything up this week has just been riding it out and waiting, it’s very hard to stay patient while these beauties grow.

Smooth week, sadly I didn’t harvest either of the two plants on the right. They seem like the growth is slowing down a lot, the pistils aren’t Maturing on the two slower plants and the trichomes aren’t maturing on the faster ones. Honestly not sure why but they aren’t showing any signs of stress so I’m guessing just genetics? Hopefully one more week tops on the close up photo and 3 more on everything else but we’ll see :S
