Setup:
Vivosun 4x4x6.5 grow tent.
3 x 300w LED full spectrum lights at 32 inches.
2 external fans and 1 - 6 inch exhaust fan.
Garage grow with no heating or air. I run the lights from 7 pm to 1 pm to compensate for the colder temps.
My last grow we had a cold snap (for this part of the country) - lower 20F at night. This light schedule kept the
tent around 75 with the lights on and 65 off.
12/29 - Day 10 transplant.
Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil amended with Wildroot organic mycorrhizal fungi. About 1 scoop per gallon of soil. I'll also add a scoop to the first water along with FF Big Bloom at somewhere less than 1/4 strength.
1/1/20
FF BB - 2 tsp. per gallon 1/4 strength
FF GB - 1 tsp. per gallon 1/4 strength
This is my 6th grow. All have been "successful" - some more so than others. Still don't know what the hell I'm doing half the time...
I would appreciate all comments and suggestions.
Nice journal mrchicks. I look forward to seeing your final results. I was curious, since you have a long history of using the FF trio, what type of differences did you notice with this grow by introducing items from FF extended line? How did you decide to use the ones the ones you did and not others? I am using FF soils and nute trio for my first grow and I'm trying to better understand their extended product line and what are the real word advantages to using them for my next grow.
@GreenAlchemist, Damn! Now I have to go buy some Terpinator. π I hadn't heard of it before but what I'm reading sounds interesting. I'm going to start a new grow in the next couple of weeks and I think I'll give it a try.
@mrchicks, Thanks for the reply. I'm definitely going to be trying the Microbe Brew and Kangaroots next grow, should help out the mycorrhizal the comes in the Happy Frog soil. I've also been looking into products that contain Potassium Sulfate like Terpinator. So many options to consider and different products to test. If only I had a second tent so I could run even more experiments at once.
I'll check out those two's diaries next, love finding people like yourself on here, learning so much from everyone. Feel free to throw me any advice you may have as my grows progress. π
@mrchicks, I appreciate your kind words my friend!! We are alway glad to help our fellow growers learn and try new techniques!! As we still are experimenting everyday and learning constantly ourselves!! We look forever to working along side of you as well! Good luck on all your growing! It truly is a great hobby! π―πππ€π€π±ππ
The humidity bags change the way my weed tastes I quit using them and Cree the old fashion way. Lots of burps Very nice if I was a judge this would be up there. Very nice π
Well played looks healthy with lots of trichomes, id say a week and half if you are aiming at 80%cloudy 20% amber . Keep looking at it with your scope since some strain will mature faster . Great work ππ»
You're plants look like thier doing really well, I'm also doing a couple of Dutch Passion strains - AutoGlueberryOg and Auto Critical orange punch. I've defoliated it and it's doing pretty well tbf. Its pre flowering/ pre flower stretching. Happy growing
@mrchicks, Defoliation with autos in week 3, 4 and 6 or 7 just after they finish pre flower stretching, then that way the bud sites are getting maximum light ;)
@Bashgrowsitall1989, Thanks man! Yours are definitely looking great. Next grow I'm going to be more aggressive with defoliation. Hard to argue with the results.
Looks good! If it was mine I would probably remove anything with a really long stem, open it up a little π Good luck I hope the end results are awesome! π€πΌπ¨
