Yellow spots can be very normal on the first true sets of fan leaves. However, from the picture you posted I noticed your medium (not sure what type of soil though) is completely dampened. The little girls that aren't growing and the yellowing may simply be a symptom of over-watering. There is no root system to take up such large amounts of water and the system can/will be drowned out. If she's drowning, she won't be picking up the nutrients she needs from the soil, nor will that root system be able to properly establish itself. This yellowing could easily be the symptom of this over-watering and subsequent deficiencies rearing their ugly head. Highly suggest localized watering for the first 2-3 weeks. Only enough to feed the plant without saturating the entire medium. Once saturated, it can take a very long time to dissipate that extra water. I also suggest allowing a proper dry out period so the roots can start to breath (not completely dry, though). As you continue localized watering, the damp soil surrounding her should start to give up moisture and dry out in time. When you enter week 3-4 (pending on growth patterns and root system) I would start doing full feeds w/ 10-15% run-off. Until then, localized is the way to go. From personal experience, over-watering early on can cause serious problems, including those possible deficiencies you see. I do hope this helped, but if I'm missing something in terms of grow details, drop me a line in PM and we can discuss this further. Cheers and happy trails my friend👍

What kind of soil did you use? Most plantlings are very susceptible to nutrients so if you used something with too much stuff (usually known as full mixes) then probably that's the reason why your baby probably isn't growing! For the next time try starting in a small pot with a light mix or a jiffy pod till the plant has grown at least her first set of leaves. And I'm sending you the best vives, hopefully this little girl will survive!

@doggiedeb, It looks ok but it's hard to see with grow lights on. Try to put up a photo with natural light. Also if possible try to fill in more information in your diary like temperature, humidity, light distance what kind of soil pot size. Does your soil have nutrients all ready in it or are you using nutrients? During the first few weeks temperature and humidity are very important. Try to keep it at least 75 F and 65 to 70% humidity. You can message me anytime if you have more questions.

Are there any nutrients in your soil already? If there are no nutrients in the soil I would start with 1/8 to 1/4 dose of grow nutrients. If she likes it she should show some signs of wanting to throw out more leaves over the next week.👍

@doggiedeb, If your using pure Ocean forest soil you may not need to use any more nutrients until week 5 - 6 or the plant starts to show signs of needing more nutrients.

@Philindicus, light is around 30" from plant. But I have 2 seedlings sprout light 18-6. Cool mist humidifier fox farm ocean soil, no nutrients yet.

@doggiedeb, Have you decided which nutrient brand you are going to use yet? I was checking out your light specifications looks like it's putting out about 200 watts. Not sure how high you have your light from your seedling it would help if you list the distance. Sometimes if the light is too close it can stunt the seedlings growth but I can't say if that is the issue. Sometimes low temperatures and low humidity can cause issues with root and leaf growth. You can order a small cheap digital hydrometer off Amazon.com for under $10 this will read your humidity and temperature. If it's winter time where you live try to keep your temperatures above 70 F and your humidity high. In the winter the air is very dry maybe 35% humidity. Keeping your grow space humidity in the 60 to 70 % range for seedlings is best until it develops a larger root system to handle water loss through the leaves. If the air is too dry the stoma which are tiny openings under the leaves which release moisture and absorb CO2 close up to conserve moisture. The lack of CO2 slows down photo synthesis. If your grow space is small add a cool mist humidifier to get it higher. So I would say make sure your light isn't too close, temperatures between 70 to 80F, humidity 60 to 70% and start with grow nutrients at 1/8 to 1/4 strength dose try not to over water. Your seedling should show some reaction within a week of doing this.

Please check your pm. This is important and I does not have to do with the 'grower of the month contest". I have an offer you may be very interested in. From one grower to another. Please get back to me as soon as possible and we'll work it out. Please trust 😉👍

She looks nice and frosty. I would cut off any larger leaves sticking out of the buds try to get as much of stem out as you can and trim the tips off anything not completely covered in trichomes. Then dry and cure the buds.👍

might be thrips, soils that have sticks and bark and stuff often has some pests in it. It only takes a little heat and some water to activate most soil born pest. I wouldnt worry about it for now, all the suggestions about water are valid, but its real hard to see whats actually happening with the light on. I have a pair of glasses that are designed for my hps lights, they make a great photo filter. Im sure theres a led pair that could do the same. Then you get real well lit pictures that show good details.
