I placed seeds in plugs dec 7th, I am doing a supersoil grow using clover cover crop and straw on top. I am testing out air pots, as I have had hard time learning how much to water with them. I am testing out a supersoil already made along with mine that I have made.
I am doing compost tea with boogie brew, along with feeding with Rhizoforce, Neem and Karanja cake
I am currently doing my own compost and will be making another batch of supersoil so that it can cook prior to my next grow.
Goal is to keep it organic and bring out the most of the genetics of each strain.
So my plants are showing signs of CA MG deficiency , I am testing out a super soil mix I picked up locally and that batch is not showing any problems compared to the fox farms ocean forest. So I top dressed some glacial rock dust and watered again with N Thrive and GH CalMG. Plants are doing great.
I am having a nutrient problem and I believe it is a CA MG issue and then addtional bloom nutrients are needed for one of the soils. I am using two batches of soil to compare a local batch of living supersoil, which so faR has exceeded my expectations.
I have avoided liquid nutrients as much as possible but with the nute deficiency I wanted to correct this as fast as possible since it is an autoflower. I am considering picking up Vegamatrix line up to finish off the Flower.
I did so some heavy low stress training to spread the colas apart to get more light further down. I did not top any of the autoflowers, I have always been against it since I feel like I am running against the clock and want as little stress as possible.
My cover crop is crazy to deal with and not sure if I can do anything to keep the crazy growth from going through my canopy. If I do not keep up with it it mixes within the branches and I came close to cutting off a few branches when trimming the cover crop.
Dealing with CA MG issue so I added epsom salt to the mix. I suspect red dwarf will be ready in 1-2 weeks and the other one will be 3 more weeks possibly.
