Day 95 since cloning the second BlackJack clone of the bunch. I decided to transplant this one and ended up just absolutely hacking away with scissors. I reduced to a twig and will watch it return. I want everything (parts of the plant) to have a solid chance to catch up. Now for some water, time, and observation, aka. TLC. Note that the specks on the fan leaf are not pests (I examined, calcium deposit from water?).
My soil amendment mix was primarily: 30 HP Pro Mix: 5 Fox Farms Happy Frog: 5 worm castings: 2 ASB Greenworld Sheep Manure Compost: 2 ASB Greenworld Black Earth: 2 ETI Greenhouse Gold Seafood Compost: 1 Blood and Bonemeal pellets: 1 Green Gaia mineralized phosphate (guano): 1 pulverized egg shells; and Myke Herbs and Vegetables mycorrhizae. I tried to layer it more than in previous transplants, that is I put soil mix in the container and then filled the sides and to the top with just straight HP Pro Mix.
Had never such a contrast in colors like that! Seems like it's suffering from nitrogen def, but that's now how it happens... Beautiful!! Although I compared the beauty to a deficiency
Yah! Nitro toxicity! I got it twice in two weeks, too man. Luckily we both didn't let it get too far and caught it. Like you said, lost a bit of time, but psh. Good eye and way to go on fixing her up👍
