Week 1 in large pot / veg tent
She’s been slow getting used to her new environment
By day 7, she seems to be starting to thrive
Currently she is 5 nodes high, soon to be topped and pinned down for step 1 of mainline
Week 2 - focus is on getting the manifold setup proper. Things are coming along nicely, I have noticed the cream caramel stem is quite thick and sturdy. Strain is performing well at this point.
Growth slowed a bit this week as a result of the manifold cropping. It can be quite stressful on the plant so I’m not to surprised, by the end of the week she was back to full strength and looking beautiful.
This week was another solid week of growth. I trimmed off some of the larger fan leaves to help penetrate the canopy, she responded well with lots of growth on the interior and main branches. It’s almost time to stop the growth of the two main support branches, this will help focus the plants energy on the ‘cola’ branches moving towards the light. I’m going to pin down some of the older growth to allow the younger branches to catch up to the canopy height.
The first week of flower has finally arrived! I’m really excited to see what this girl has to offer. Photo was taken on the exact first day of light switch, I deployed 24hr of darkness before turning the light back on for 12/12.
Lots of trimming done this week. This strain is incredibly bushy, not a complaint!
There are many bud sites forming, it seems like this strain was an excellent choice for mainlining. I will pull the bamboo out sometime this week, I find it useful for creating space between large branches. This will help create airflow between the bud sites and reduce any risk of mould. Happy growing!
I was able to do some large scale defoliation this week, this, in combination with an even canopy, will help ensure all the bud sites get lots of light during this crucial time in their development. I try to only remove the large fan leafs that block out large sections of the lower bud sites, any fan leafs that are soaking up light and aren’t blocking anything should be left to grow as they are helping fuel the growth.
Awesome week this week in the flower tent, this Cream Caramel is really starting to thicken up, her hairs are still looking long, so I think she’s still got lots of room to grow. I think this she gonna end up with some big fat buds, lots of resin forming now, very exciting times!
Happy Growing!!
Great week of growing! She’s slowed her drinking down a bit, only 2 feedings this week, soil ph was a little high when I tested runoff earlier in the week, so I’ve begun correcting that. All in all, it was another great week of growing, she has added a lot of mass this week. I notice when moving the pots that the buds have a lot of weight when swaying back and forth, a good sign!!
Happy Growing!
Excellent week of growth here, water intake is slowing considerably, I have noticed the smell increase was quite dramatic this week, she is very sweet smelling, hard to peg exactly what it reminds me of - but I’ll continue to analyze and form a better opinion. Hope y’all enjoy the growth pics, we are coming into the final stretch now, gotta really put a final push in for the last bits of nutrient intake and making sure to get that bud candy in there!! Happy Growing!
A strong week of growth, very stinky this week, nutrient uptake is going quite well, at this point I’m roughly 6 weeks in and I’ll be easing off on the nutrients and beginning to feed just reg ph’d water. She is looking very healthy and I expect she will make a nice smooth landing! Happy Growing!!!
Excellent week of growth, coming to the finish line now. What a beautiful girl she has grown into! I trimmed quite a few of the remaining fan leafs to allow as much light as possible into all her crevices. She drank quite a bit of plain ph’d water this week, her colour is starting to fade and I can see some yellow showing. It’s the final push, and she’s doing the work - I’m gonna get as much out of her as I possibly can. I will be sure to take some good macros and let y’all have a peek inside. I hope everyone enjoy’s this weeks images, Happy Growing!
Wow!!! What can I say.... what a beautiful plant this cream caramel beauty is! She has grown into such a wonderful, thick, shapely girl! She’s using up the remaining nutrients, I can see her colours really changing. Her scent is definitely on the fruity end of the spectrum, I’m catching some hints of citrus on her, I've taken down a small branch as a tester, I’ll get my wife to have a smell in a few days she is the true judge of smell! The trichs are really cloudy, normally this is roughly the timeframe I would take the plant down, but with this being a cbd heavy strain I’m gonna ride her out until she gets lots of amber running through her. I hope y’all enjoy th this weeks photos, maybe 1 more week of photos before harvest, depending on how quickly she turns I guess :)
Happy Growing!!
I highly recommend trying this strain if you’re searching out a CBD strain - it’s nugs turn out quite dense and it’s easy to grow, no issues with pests or mould. It’s works exactly as described, mild thc and cbd combination. If that’s your jam, you should try out this cream caramel beauty!! The plant itself was easy to grow, she turned into a real queen. I performed a high amount of intense training on her and she handled the stress like a champ, structurally speaking she is a powerhouse. Some of the buds were extremely heavy and she was able to support them quite well. I can’t say enough about the performance of this plant, she didn’t have any deficiencies during growth right to her final days she was a beast! If your looking for a new cbd strain you can’t go wrong with this cream caramel from Sweet Seeds! 🔥🔥🔥
