Chocolope, strain I tried out about a month ago and the sparkles of creativity came just when I needed it. So I decided to grow my own. This season I want to keep on using my homemade grow box with some improvements in it of course with lighting and air flow. And I will also try a different method Screen Of Green aka ScrOG. The idea is to use most of the horizontal surface and both side on vertical way. I made my own treillis netting frame that I will install when time will comes. I planted 2 seeds Choco I and Choco II. Choco I : germinated on a soaked paper towel then after sprouted I planted it into soil. Choco II : germinated on a soaked paper towel then placed into a jiffy pellet. I made my dome with 2 Tupperware and a glue gun I kept the level of humidity very high above 75% and I sprayed the inside of the dome with sparkling water for the Co2 Happy growing

After a good humid week in the dome they're out with fan on them for stems strengthening. I started to feed them with Flora trio from General Hydroponics and still spraying sparkling water on them to keep humidity above 65%. I will be transpotting them in 2 days. Happy growing 🌱

Hi everyone, Choco I is very leafy and it's really challenging to stretch her properly without damaged anything (I broke a cola). Choco II is finally getting LST 4 ways and seemed to enjoy the ScrOG concept. I did defoliate 2 fan leaves and weak stem on Choco II. Because of the damages/the stress and small distance between the nodes I didn't defoliate Choco I, I'm hoping she will grow faster because I stretched her to the max I think. Happy growing everyone 🌱🌿

Hello growers! I'm experiencing some small yellow spots on couple of leaves nothing major. I'm wondering if there's something wrong with my watering, basically I'm giving the plants nutrients every time I'm watering them. Am I wrong?

Hello there. I'm also a dirt farmer that is using the GHE series. I looked at the pictures and then looked at your nutrient dosing. If those numbers are correct, this is way, way too much. It's ok to dabble with the schedule and customize it to your needs, but in week four of veg, these numbers need to drop and quick. GHE's 'Drain to Waste' Program (soil) only recommends a 5-5-2.5 (micro-gro-bloom). Again, I'm only basing this on the posted numbers and you may not actually be dosing her like this. But if you are running this high of a N/K supplementation, this explains everything. Your leaves are very dark green (excess Nitrogen and Nitrogen toxicity) and that's one of the first signs they're getting over fed. Regardless of whether or not the #'s posted are accurate, she is experiencing an over feeding and toxicity and does need a balanced tap flush...probably a couple, with heavy run-off (30%+) to wash away everything sitting in the soil right now. This will probably piss her off and she will be stunted for a bit, you will lose some time, but she will survive. If you have a TDS pen to read your ppm's, I suggest continuously testing the RO and making sure your numbers are dropping to more adequate levels (500-1200ish (rough)). I wish you luck in the coming days my friend. If you need anything else, please drop me a line in PM.👍

They're really thirsty 💦💦 I have to watered them almost every day, I'm not feeding with nutrients every time I gave them water... Should I?? Finally installed the exhaust. I did defoliate a little bit. And Mo' stretching mo' buds 😁. I'm also experiencing white red blue lights for Choco II and red blue for Choco I we'll see what that will bring. I will probably switch to 12/12 next week though. Happy growing 🌿🌱

Week 6, I switched the light to 12/12 and 2 days after I defoliated both plant and believe it or not the canopy almost doubled the day after thanks to the flowering stretch. So far I don't see any ball sacks but instead I think I saw couple of buds sites. The plants are very thirsty👅💦 I've been feeding them with straight water up until 2 days ago as I was following the recommended chart 📊 from the bottles as I'm focusing on having a micro grow I did cut the nutrients by half I will receive my bottle of CalMagic this week... Pretty late in the process but I will be able to start providing with this supplement during the transition. That's all for this week growmies! Happy growing 🌱🌿

Hi! I have a full spectrum light bulb red/blue and a small amount of white and another growing light bulb but more white/yellow. As I'm transitioning to flowering, which bulb should I use to get big buds? I can't find clear answer on the web. Thanks 🙏🙇‍♂️

Hello friend, I think some companies like fluence and bios light have really mastered the full spectrum that benefits all stages. But I've learned not all lights are created equally, especially older models. I did a grow with 2 plants and 2 lights, 1 higher in red light and 1 blue/white, i never rotated the plants or switched them around, and the plant under the higher red performed incredibly better than the blue. Bigger buds, higher trichrome production and better smell etc.. I didn't understand this at 1st. I think full spectrum lights are great, but i would opt for higher red lighting over blue/white in flower if you have to make a choice. Try checking the specifics of each light and find the one who has more of what you want. I also believe that more light is usually better, so regardless of what's available if you can increase your lights without harming the plants I say go for it. Happy growing ✌️

Week 7 (day 16 of flowering) what a stretch!!! They doubled their size since the switch to 12/12. They're really leafy (again😟😕) which is a good sign that they're healthy but I don't have the room for all of tht (next time with 2 plants I will switch to 12/12 earlier). I changed the lightbulbs to fill spectrum with a dominant red and blue with a good amount of white, yellow, IR and UV. I've been alternating watering with and without nutrients and went straight to water w/ nutrients for the last 4 days. Because of the amount of fan leaves, the high level of humidity (appx 69-75) and lack of airflow (2 fans and a 4" duct fan) I decided to not wait the '3 weeks of flowering' mark to do a kind of Defoliation/Schwazzing so I did it today. I will keep an eye on the evolution of the plants with Calcium and Magnesium as supplement. That's all for this week growmies! Happy growing 🌱🌿

What else can I say🤨 I got surprised by the flowering stretch... I'm running out of run I LSTed some stems as they were touching the lights. I should have started the flowering 2 weeks earlier. Other than that I the pistils are way more noticeable and the smell as well. I'm feeding the plant now with CaliMagic from GHE. Happy growing everyone

Week 4 of flowering, first week of mid-blooming. Plants aren't growing anymore thankfully lol 'cause I have no rooms. I feed the plants only with FloraMicro 1/2 tsp and FloraBloom 3/4 tsp as nutrients and CaliMagic 1/2 as supplement. Because my room challenge I did some LST to make the buds stay highlighted and I did HST (not by choice but it worked out fine) on 3 stems because they were at the ceiling together with defoliating some fan leaves that were on the way between lights and buds and also some that got light burned. I guess the CaliMagic is helping out with the magnesium to make the plants accepting the HSTs. I do feel better now compare to last week 😜🤘🏿. That's all gromies! Happy growing y'all 🌿🌱🌸🌺

Week 5 of flowering, second week of mid-blooming. I don't really see the buds getting fatter but I do see more flowering coming out the second layer, they were branches 2 weeks ago but now because I removed a bunch of fan leaves and now they are receiving lights. Choco I has some leaves folding on the top but not the other stems. Choco II seem pretty strong after two HST within his crop and buds look great there. That's all for this week gromies! Week 11, week 6 of flowering. Calyx look a little bit more swollen, the pistils have probably reached their maximum length and quantity the trichromes are almost everywhere and have a with a milk-ish look. I think I will have to harvest the plants in 2 time as underneath the canopy there's a new layer of flowering bud site after chopping the top buds and I might wait 15 days and give theese new buds more time and light you develop. I reduced the amount of FloraMicro from 1/2 tsp to 1/4 tsp and started the ripening process today and will be ripening for 7 days and 10 to 15 days flush. Happy growing🌱🌿🌸

Is it a thing to harvest the plants in 2 time? Underneath the canopy there's a new layer of flowering bud site after I defoliated 2 weeks ago. Chop the top buds and wait 10-15 days to give these new buds more time and light you develop. I hope you understand what I mean 🙄 lol

I absolutely agree to your plans Of harvesting in Etaps. I do it often on my Outdoors, because i dont Train those plants . and sometimes are not all Flowers matured. So I take the Ready ones, and let her stand for 10-14 days longer ( or as Long as it tooks)… Happy etap-Harvesting

Week 12, week 7 of flowering. Ripening lasted 8 days because I wanted to make sure the second layer of buds received enough nutrients and supplements before starting the flushing process 15 days. Today I tucked leaves as much as I can, I bent could of stem and I removed couple of big leaves and damaged leaves (also leaves I couldn't tucked away) all of that to make sure thay light can reach as much as possible new or young bug sites, I discovered A Master bud lol. During the flushing process timeline I will feed the plants with water, aloe Vera and coconut water. This will aloe me to provide the plants organic nutrients. I will harvest the mature and top crop in 2 weeks from now. Then it will be time for the lower and less developed buds sites to benefit stronger light for about 10 days. Then 2 days before the second harvest I will stop feeding the plants and let them in total blackout for 48 hours. That's all for this gromies. Happy growing🌱🌿🌸

Week 13, week 8 of flowering, week 1 of flushing. I wanted to make sure the second layer of buds received enough nutrients and supplements but at the same time the top buds are getting ready for harvesting probably this coming weekend (5 days from now). So I came up with idea to provide the plant with at least some suppplements but only organic as flushing meant to clean the synthetic and other debris out of the soil that could potentially make the buds taste harsh. I'm flushing the plants with water and with a mix of Aloe Vera 100% natural and Coconut water 100% natural. Surprisingly the buds got a little bit fatter 🧐🤷🏿‍♂️... I think from now on I will include these two natural supplements into my nutrient chart for my next crop. I will harvest the mature buds on the top of the crop in 5 days from now. A week after I will harvest the new buds. Then 2 days before the second harvest I will stop feeding the plants and let them in total blackout for 48 hours. That's all for this week gromies. Week 14, week 9 of flowering. Now the lower buds finally receiving more light. I am not expecting a huge increase in the buds sizes the result might be only for extraction or very little popcorn buds but guess what it's better than nothing. I will harvest the plant beginning of next week and I will switch the first harvest into a Mason jar and the second harvest in the drying box. They should all be in their jar once 4/20 hits. Really nice strain to grow. I liked the smell too. She has recovered pretty fast after HST or Topping trainings. She reacted positively to the changes throughout her growing process. I just finished to harvest the top crop I will have my first test on 4/20!!! And I will update the diary for the tastes & effects.

Week 14, harvested the top crop with the bigger buds I left the bottom crop to harvest 10 days after that will allow me to dry the first batch meanwhile. I trimmed off the large fan leaves and the big sugar leaves and I left behind some of the sugar leaves to keep the drying slow and to protect the flowers and their trichome glands. After the branches have dried and snap instead of bending, I will do a second more thorough trim, just before starting the curing process in glass jars.
