I took the clone cuttlings on 1/02/2020 from the mother plants. Each clone was dipped into clonex rooting gel directly after taking it from the plant, I put mycorrhizal fungi down in the rockwool and inserted the dipped clones into the rockwool medium and put them into a humidity dome. I plan to keep them in the humidity dome for a full week as well as completely drain the current water and add pH'd water with water soluble mycorrhizal on 1/7/2020 to promote root growth the last two or three days in the humidity dome.

I transplanted the clones from their humidity dome to soil this week on 1/10/2020. They were showing signs of roots so I decided to move them over to solo cups with soil. I intend to water them daily with small amounts of water and I will check root production on 1/17/2020 to see if we need to transplant.

We are coming into week three after cutting the clones. I have started feeding them Clonex clone nutrients and they are responding well, we are starting to see new growth on the clones. I will plan to check root production again at the end of this week to see if they will be ready for transplant. I removed one of the Wedding Cake clones due to it not taking root quickly enough and was not looking like it was going to make it.

Most of the clones were looking healthy and showing signs of good growth, one of the wedding cake clones root system never developed fully and had to be removed from the group. I have one other clone that appeared to be suffering from the soil staying too damp even with minor watering to it not allowing the roots to develop at the same rate as the others, I will monitor it closely and see how it progresses after being transplanted.

We had to remove two clones from the garden this week, unfortunately the root systems on them were not taking off even with the extra attention. We added two new strains to the garden to replace them since it is too late into our flowering process to take more clones from those guys. We added Papaya Punch and Spiked Punch to the mix and I like the new additions. We are glad to have our own clones thriving after transplanting and we are excited to take what we have learned through our first veg cycle into this one. The fan leaves on the Spiked Punch clone are HUGE! The Papaya Punch is another healthy looking clone we picked out from a local dispensary, it's fan leaves are quite a bit larger than our other clones from our plants in flower so we expect both of those genetics to need some additional room. NUTRIENTS: We are mixing in some growth nutrients this week as well as some micro's. We are coming in with a low dose of growth nutrients for two reasons, I nutrient locked our current crop during their veg cycle and I want to ease into the nutrients this time, we are also using different veg growth nutrients this time around and I want to be cautious in the first feedings so how the plants react. We are also introducing Cal-Mag to the soil as well as Fish Sh!t and some Recharge. The Fish Sh!t and the Recharge will help with preventing nutrient lockout as well as helping making more nutrients available to the plant while also providing mycorrhizae to the soil. WATER: We plan to water more frequently with less water on this crop. We are going to move from a every three days to an every other day water cycle.
