Jedi Cheese - Custom

gdogfunk Day 5: Both seeds popped using the paper towel method and took a couple days to sprout. This is another custom strain I made by crossing a male Cali Connection Jedi Kush with Nirvana Swiss Cheese. I had a friend grow this strain from my seed stock and I got to try the first sample. It was great!! I’m hoping for at least one female to make clones from.

gdogfunk Day 8: the Force is with these babes! They are both doing great, so far!

gdogfunk Day 15: transplanted to 1gal pots a couple days ago and put them under the closet LED.

gdogfunk Day 23: They are loving the 1 gal pots, so far! I fed EH light nutes the other day and URB, cal-mag, sturdy stalk on water-only day. (Today). I let them get fairly dry before watering. I topped the 5th node to prepare for scrogging later on.

gdogfunk Day 29: they are growing well! No preflowers yet, so I’ll let them go awhile longer before flipping.

gdogfunk Day 37: they are going strong, but still can’t determine sex yet. I’ll let them go until I can tell and then probably do a SOG.

gdogfunk Day 42: they are growing strong, but I fear one is male. I will know will be flipping in about a week, so I’ll know for sure then. It’s interesting to study the preflowers. Nothing teaches you like experience! Day 49: last day of veg! I flipped the timer to 12/12 and now the real fun begins!

gdogfunk Day 56: flipped to 12/12 last week and she’s had a full week of transition nutes. We shall see what kind of stretch she has in the next couple of weeks!

gdogfunk Day 57: starting the second week of flower and feed week1 transition nutes today. Nice lush green and I am doing things a bit different with this sog and going back to some supplements I used on my first run and had great results. I want to see what it does to my custom strains.

gdogfunk Day 64: starting the third week of flower! The stretch is near complete and the buds are well under way!

gdogfunk Day 71: I did a huge Defol and removed a lot of fan leaves to allow light to the bud sites. The node spacing is very wide on this one, so I need a lot of light penetration. Flowers are growing!

gdogfunk The flowers are coming along and everything appears to be healthy. Not a whole lot of smell yet, but she’s really growing great!

gdogfunk Looking even better! Not much to report this week. Flowers are growing and so far, so good!

gdogfunk She’s looking pretty amazing and starting to pack on some size. A few more weeks left to go!

gdogfunk Huge colas on this one! I flushed thoroughly and am water-only for this week, harvest in a few days!

gdogfunk This was a custom strain I created by crossing a Jedi Kush male from Cali Connection with a clone of Nirvana Swiss Cheese from my original Swiss Cheese first ever grow. I had a friend grow a seed with similar results - a fantastic cbd body buzz and fantastic head high. Tons of trichomes on the buds! Next time I'll try for a larger plant and hope for a larger yield. For a custom strain, I am very pleased!
