Hi guys,
my first ever Growdiary on my 3rd Grow.
I ll always try to take and upload pictures in the middle of the week.
Just planted 3 germinated Gelato Seeds from Zamnesia into small 0,2 l pots filled with
low nutrient earth.
For later I will use Composana potting soil in 4,4 l pots.
I tried to even out deficiencies in the past with mineral nutrients from Hesi.
Didn't go to well for me so this time I bought some Biobizz organic nutrients and am looking forward to trying them out!
My light is a 250W blue and red light LED. It is labeled as 300W but I tested it for roughly 250.
My growing room is the clothing rack part of my closet, so its a small surface of 60cm x 60cm but it has a relatively good height.
They are getting along nicely.
I m gonna repot them this week into 4,4 l pots.
They are turning purple on the downside of the leafs and the stem.
Never seen that before that early, anybody knows if that is gonna be a problem?
They were standing a bit too close to the light,
thats why they dried out a bit, I put them further down and they re starting to recover.
Repottet them at the end of last week and gonna start feeding them nutrients by the start of next week.
Week 4 Vegetation
Topped them by the end of last week and startet LST on the 2nd of February.
All 3 of them are looking fine even though they are growing at different speeds.
During vegetation I usually let the pots dry out heavily before watering again
to support root grow, so I have only watered them once in the last 11 days.
Had some health issues during the last week, so did not really take pictures, but now I am back.
I also had some light issues the beginning of last week, which seemed to stun the plants for a few days,
but now they are back on track and growing again. One of the three seems to be a bit faster
than the other two, I m gonna have to see how that plays out.
Changed the light hours to 12/12 at the beginning of week 6.
Started to feed them a bit of Biobizz Grow last week and will add more next week.
They are starting to fill up the space nicely and surprisingly already smell like weed to some extend.
Never experienced it that early before.
They are getting bigger and bigger.
I ve been out of the country for the last week, so was not there to take pictures.
Friend of mine watered them with my instructions.
Started feeding them more nutrients and also defoliated for the first time.
Everything else is going smoothly.
Just waiting for them to develop real flowers.
This week my new light is propably gonna arrive, it is a 240w kingsbrite.
I am gonna dim it for the beginning and slowly go up.

I super cropped the plants now before it is too late,
because I will move them to my new box in the next weeks,
which hase more space on the ground but way less height.
Finally they start to form beautiful frosty buds :)
The light for my new box was supposed to arrive over a week ago already, but customs are a pain in the ass
where I live, so I still have to wait :(. Right now I have to use my old light which is not spreading the light evenly
so the inner buds are developing a bit better.
19.03.20:
I received my new lights 2 days ago, unfortunately I discovered that one of the plants turned
into a hermie from all the stress. I got her out of the tent and carefully picked all the sacks
with a lot of water, did not want to throw her out, because she is the best looking one.
Gonna keep an eye on them though
One of them seems to have a better go than the other two, but I m not worried yet.
She starts to get frosty as hell and smells just really really sweet.
So far so good. They are starting to fatten up really nicely.
The plant which was a hermie develops seeds inside the buds as I can see, the other two look fine.
Also the plants start to show a bit of color which I am really looking forward to.
You really need to monitor your trichomes with a 30x or 60x magnifying glass to know when to flush. Clear trichomes are not ready, cloudy/milky trichomes are at their maximum thc level, amber trichomes are past their prime and converting into cbd and other less desirable chemicals. If you like an energetic high then you don't want any amber. If you want a hard hitting high that sinks you into the couch then you want a lot of amber. I prefer a nice medium and try to harvest with as many cloudy as possible. If you are in soil then it is usually good to start flushing when you have 5 to 10% amber to get a nice balance. It is something you kinda have to play around with to see what you prefer. Good luck!
They are slowly coming to an end, most of the fattening is done I think.
Now they are ripening, also dropping the temperature at night starts to bring out the beautiful
purple in this strain. Smell is kind of stinky, but touching the buds releases a very sweet smell onto my fingers.
So they are slowly coming to and end. Started flushing this week and every day they are getting more beautiful, love em too much already.
Really looking forward to harvest.
Final week I would say, they are sucking up all the excess nutrients and drain the last leaves.
Most of the trichomes are cloudy now, I think It ll be the last watering the next days.
This Strain stood strong even though I threw a lot of stress at her with moving into a new box and changing lights. 2/3 hermed a bit but it looks like there are only a few seeds produced.
Very happy about the harvest when looking back at her come up.
