Easy to grow only had 1 deficiency and that was a calcium defiancy as my water was soft water and adding 1ml per litre of cal mag sorted that, took longer than I expected for a auto flower but great experience for first ever grow
@Buddha2, was very impressed with my first grow thought I would run in to more issues and problems, but all went good can't weight to start next grow bought a bigger tent for the next time
Impressive grow!! Especially, 1st time out!! I just put 2 flowering FastBuds Lemon AK47 Autos under a Mars Hydro TSW2000. The buds are packing on weight in just a few days now. I also use the Canna line and will continue with it. My water is soft, too. I will add the Cal/Mag to my nute lineup.
@Shaunmc57, Thats very strange...I've been growing Autos for over 10 years now in 100% Coco and have always started them on a bare minimum of 1.2 E.C. and never get tip burn. If you get tip burn on a very young plant or any plant even from day 1 at 1.5 E.C then something else is wrong. More likely P.H. or pest issues, or unbuffered Coco or Salty Coco, certainly wont be from a too Salty Nutrient.
@Buzzo, the reason was because I have soft water with a EC 0.1, plant was getting feed 0.8 EC, when deficiency first started I tried upping my ec and got tip burn then I went on a forum I am on and they suggested adding the cal mag as my starting EC was to low and to add it 0.4 EC before adding feed, I even check cannas website and they suggest there product is for a starting EC of 0.4, so that's what I done and didn't have another issue throughout the grow
Looks great man! Would you say your plant height measurements were accurate throughout your diary? I'm growing NL Auto in a spacebucket with about 60cm of height to play with currently. I was wondering why your height went from 55.5cm back to 22cm at times? Was that after LST or something else? I'm pretty sure I'll need to stack my bucket to get the extra grow room after looking through your diary haha.
@Penguin, my plant grow to 60cm and I LST the plant from beginning to end as I didn't have the room either, I had to trim the plant a couple times as when I lst it grow the full width of the tent which was 60cm to my tent was 60x60x140. The plant in total with pot was 84cm I ended up having to dim my light aswell to stop the light stress as I couldn't move the light any higher if that helps
@Denzul, thanks, really didn't expect my first grow to take so long with a auto flower, think I have few weeks left before flush, I expect it to be done around 14 weeks
Just a quick question about your previous Northern lights grow, how many feeds a day? Thank you. Impressive end result. Doing my first grow. At week 9-10, started feeding three times a day instead of once in the morning. A bit safer when using Coco. Happy growing 🤐
@EirikBloodAxe, I feed just once a day until she started needing to be water twice a day as she was supping all the water dry in 12 hour near the end and when I water twice a day I cut the nutrients down so I didn't over feed her
Awesome grow. I'm currently growing two of these from seedsman. Did you happen to do any defoliation during flower? Mine are getting so thick that the lights aren't penetrating like I'd like them to. Wasn't sure if I should thin them out some or just leave them alone since they're auto's. Also, thanks for your great pics! I'm almost finished with Week 7 and was worried by how underdeveloped my flowers seemed to be since seedsman says flowering time is 9-10 weeks. Your week 7 pics look just like mine as far as the flowers go which tells me that I'll need to hold on and harvest around week 14 like you. Thanks!
@slayerinokc, yeah I defoliated well trimmed her at back end off week six, then after she stopped stretching during flower I removed a couple leaves here and there to help light penatrate, if you trim her don't trim everything just leaves that block light getting to bud sites
