I_and_I I want to top it, but growth is so tight and close knit that I can't really get a chance to get in at the top to confidently cut it without doing dmg nearby
Are my lights to bright maybe causing such tight node spacing?
Any advice? Use LST to make a gap to the top maybe? Remove a couple fan leaves to allow growth underneath to grow? Most stuff below the top point dousnt come to much in the end?

Transplanted to 10g fabric pot, topped and defoliated at the same time
Hopefully won't stress her more than she can handle
Day 24, managed to slice off one side of the new growth at the top of the main stem with the tent door when I opened it, noobish on my part, I've moved the bag out of range so it can't happen again

Defoliated around them a little more to help hopefully
Day 39 defoliated a fair bit, removed lower growth that won't come to anything

I_and_I I had fun with this barneys gorilla zkittlez, although it seems like it was ready around 7 weeks, its as if the plant has been in the early stages of self seeding when I've harvested on day 54~ of flower.. Can't think any other reason why this would've happened
Anyway overall the bud is 95% amazing, just a slight sadness at the miniscule seeds forming close to the stems in the centre of some buds that takes away from the taste a little

This is only my second grow, the first one I had like 9 plants in a 4x4 in the end, I had done much other than top them once in veg
So I never had much to work with in flower, it was tight as hell and me being noob, I never done much at all to them in flower,
I think Lots of good light is the way to go max your yield,
And defoliate the lower growth to take away the plant wasting energy on larf way below where the light properly penetrates
The first 3 weeks here I will be defoliating lower stuff as they stretch and seeing how it pans out, I don't want them to infringe on each other to much so if I need to do something to help manipulate that I will, but I think I should be good
This second grow my plants have recieved a much much better veg period, better light, better transplants and better grow bags, I can see how strong they are vs last time, so guaging vs that, I think I should be good, just gotta keep them from getting in each others way and trim Lower would be larf bud to make the plant concentrate all energy on the top goodness in the light
Ive done some basic training, topping, strategic defoliation, tucking leaves under tops, all in veg to set me up for flower
Will be interesting to see what they do over the next 2-3 weeks of stretch πππ±πΏπ³
@I_and_I, thank you for your insight. I'm learning as I go and personal experience always seems to be the best way for me. I'm hoping I can get the canopy filled up in this stretching period. I know I need to remove the lower growth. It will suck to remove potential bud sites but worth it to help overall yeild and large top growth. I'll have pics here soon before and after with some growth removal and defoliation.
