(12/29 Day 1 of Flower) Been a hard past week for the girls, havent been able to spend as much time with them considering the holidays! Decided it was time to take them into flower, they can take the switch at this point, plus I want to upsize them, get rid of the males, and clean the tent up a bit! Their flowering schedule will be much more strict than their veg schedule! Stay tuned! They got a little defoliation today too just to keep them trimmed up and proper. Accidentally did 14/10 today due to working late in the garden!
(12/31 Day 3 of Flower) Went ahead and fed them, can hardly believe how much theyve grown in three days. Almost completely recovered from their def's, now I just desperately need to upsize them, but want to wait until I know which ones are female! They got a feed today, reduced the connoisseur dosses to 2mL/L!
(1/1) Their first day of flower with a correct VPD has begun! I realized I was such a dummy! For the past 3 weeks my humidifier has been off, and I havent been measuring the VPD at all. Will correct that considering I have the tech, and should fix up the defs and excess' quick now that the nute side is done! VPD is the difference between the water pressure inside of the plants leaves and the water pressure contained in the air! Essentially, it measures how much your plants take water from their roots and expel it through their Stomata to both cool themselves and also reach a state of water pressure equilibrium!
*****TL;DR: MEASURE RH, MEASURE AMBIENT ROOM TEMP, MEASURE LEAF TEMP WITH AN INFRARED TEMP GUN, THEN USE THIS CALCULATOR TO KNOW WHICH RH TO HAVE YOUR ROOM AT AT ANY GIVEN TIME FOR IDEAL TRANSPIRATION!

@Zannabis7, To you as well, ill follow some along! I wanted to go the organic route in the beginning myself but just ended up doing living soil for acouple months! Good chatting bud! :)
@Frak_Toggleson, I totally agree. Being a connoisseur of cannabis growing (and gardening in general) I find that growing is a total science. This is one of the things i most enjoy about growing cannabis during the winter months indoors. Getting and keeping the conditions just right is an art form (especially in a closet 😊). I love the challenge of perfecting the conditions and the feeding regimen. It is both and art and a science that keeps me learning, fascinated, and intrigued. I too have a "ton of shit" but try to stick with strictly organic nutrients because it all becomes personal stash for myself and gifts for my good friends. Best wishes...
@Zannabis7,Thanks for stopping by. Yeah there are a few of em! In retrospect two of them do the same thing as each other (BIG BUD and Terpinator), and another one of them has additives I wouldnt prefer for future grows to apply foliarly with my Chitosan! (Bud Factor X has Mag Sulfate and Potash in it as well for some reason, which just fucks with my entire foliar regiment since Mag Sulfate chemically creates a polymer with Silica, which obviously the plants cant absorb, it turns into strings of brown globs.... gross) The fact of the matter is, there are two schools of thought: Minimalism and profligately styles. Now, knowing what I know now though, there are a few things I think that both styles have wrong. The finesse of proper nutrition is far more complex than just having the right stuff for your plants at the right time. Proper nutrition is a complex issue that involves all your plants conditions throughout its entire life culminated to the present. This is a verbose way of saying, I HAVE A TON OF SHIT, but it cann be useful if used correctly.
Your girls are looking great! How’s the deficiency coming along? Flush your medium yet? Are you satisfied with the results you have using Terpinator? I was thinking about grabbing some but heard mixed reviews.
@greenleafcultivators, Hey man! The def should be sorted at this point, but the necrotic spots won't go away of course, I'll defoliate in acouple weeks probably! Still haven't made my way to flushing, but honestly I wouldn't buy Terpinator. It's literally only Potassium Sulfate and water. The dominant use of potassium sulfate is as a fertilizer. K2SO4 does not contain chloride, which can be harmful to some crops. Potassium sulfate is preferred for these crops, which include tobacco and some fruits and vegetables. Crops that are less sensitive may still require potassium sulfate for optimal growth if the soil accumulates chloride from irrigation water.
So unless you use hardwater vs soft or RO use a regular PK booster! Chitosin is really what you'd be interested in for Essential Oil concentration increases!
Hi my friend, your plants look great. I would like to get some advices from your experiences, it's my first planting.
That's why I have problems on when to harvest my plant. Would you please look at my diary and tell me around when should I harvest my plant?
Additionaly, I'm thinking that I will have 150 gr dried harvest. What is your opinion, do I have to wait for something less? Thank you. ☺️😇
@hiciste, Thanks mate! I wish I could offer any experience I have, but this is my first grow as well! Im sure others will be able to help out though! Stop by to give me some pointers yourself though! Ill be following your harvest now too :)
I use both mykos and azos products when I transplant I dip the roots, and I use Orca by Plant Success every 2 weeks when I water. you may want to try sprinkling it over the soil and watering it in so that you don’t have to worry about it dissolving into the water. I have done this in the past with good results.
@DeepRoot3d, Decided to switch to some of AN's line. Ordering Tarantula, Piranha, and Voodoo Juice. Connoisseur Grow/Bloom, Bud Factor X, Rhino Skin, and Bud Ignitor are in transit atm!
They're looking incredible. I can't wait to see them, they change so much when I look away! I especially love just how white they're getting- WOAH! Those pictures need to be viewed in 4k. 😉
This is some top notch topping and training buddy. She is looking absolutely beautiful. Looks like your nutrient ratios are turning out very nicely. You've done some amazing work to be very proud of here buddy. Cheers!
