Sprouted on 9/12. This is the first fem indoors and there is no plan about veg time. I ll switch the lights when we are happy with their size.
We used heat mat as the temp was really low and I wanted to make sure there will be no issues germinating.
First two feeds were with tap water ph 6. Last feed of the week I used 1ml/L voodoo juice.
We filled 6 pots with a mix of Biobizz light mix and Biobizz all mix with added guano powder and mychorhiza and watered them to get ready for the transplantation.

Week 2 so far so good. I started watering with 1 ml/L Voodoo juice, Piranha, Tarantula, and Bio-Heaven.
By the end of the week bottoms were full of thick roots so I transplanted them to the 15L pots.
Weather has been really windy 24/7 this week which made it hard to maintain high humidity.
Week 3 we stopped using piranha and tarantula and we kept only voodoo Juice for a couple more feeds because some spots appeared on the bottom leaves of Hulkberrys even though we didnt see any stress caused from it. Bio-Heaven dose increased to 2ml/L and added 1ml/L Bio-Grow. Ppm for this week was 550-600.
Also this week we used foliar feeding with Biobizz Alg-A-mic and Acti-vera 1ml/L each .
Finally we got rid of this 24/7 wind and humidity is ideal.
The leaves have a strong fresh-skunky smell already 😋
Week 5 started with low humidity and we placed an old humidifier inside the tent which it did increase the humidity lvls but we already have regret it as some leaves that came in contact with the hot vapor injected in the air got rotted.
In week 4 one of the 3 Green gelato had popped a couple of white/green pistils but they passed mostly unnoticed. Now we are certain that this plan is in bloom stage. Really strange that it started to bloom in week 4 with 19 hours light . Autoflower strain put by mistake in the Green gelato package? Who knows....
We switched feeding to bloom on this plant ( 2ml biogrow/heaven/bloom and we added 1ml of Sensizym and Carboload)
Week 6 feed remained the same. We applied foliar feed with 1 ml Alg-A-mic and Acti-vera.
In the end of the week some of the fem plants have few leaves on the top with light green colour. It seems that they are lack of Nitrogen or fresh air.
Auto ???? strain seem to be overfed even though the dose of NPK was low. On previous week we added 1ml carboload and sensizym on top of the biobizz which probably is what the plant didnt like and caused the leaf burn.
Week 7 we increased the bio-grow / bio-heaven to 3 ml/L to provide more N to the plants but they still look like something is missing. More fresh air is provided this week.
At the beginning we thought that this light green pale colour on leaves was due to N deficiency or fresh air. After a week of extra N and Fresh air we can say that non of them was what is causing this issue. All these let us believe that our problem is the low temperature as in the end of the dark period temp drops down to 17 c and is likely that soil gets low enough to stress the plants. Effort will be made in week 8 to get them back in good health and switch them to 12/12 as soon as possible.
Our auto "noname" strain after a week of watering with just high PH water around 7.5 is back to normal feeding. 2ml/L biogrow/bloom/heaven and 1 ml/L topmax.
It's aroma is intense grapefruit/citrus.
Week 8 all fem plants had one watering with just water and 2ml/L florakleen in order to prepare the soil for bloom nuts in the end of the week.
Temp in dark period increased a couple of degrees and they already look slightly better.
Auto noname strain must be about 15-20 days from ready to harvest 😝
Week 9 light schedule switched to 12/12 and bio-bloom & top-max were added to the feed but unfortunately some leaves turned pale yellow and some strange marks appeared.
We re going to flush in the next week to make sure feeding can be safely applied again.
Autoflower plant going no problem and should be harvested soon. Smell is intense orange with undertones of pine.
Week 10 Green gelatos and Hulkberries got flushed. Run off's ppm was 700. Defoliation applied for few branches that were hidden from direct light.
Autoflower plant is being flushed as well and it will be harvested once it gets dry within next week. No great expectations yield-wise as it is a small plant and not very compact but the smell is really intense similar to orange peel with herbal notes.
Week 11 not much to report. Watering with just ph water between the feeds and a bit of defoliation in order to allow all central branches get direct light.
Autoflower plant is ready and will be harvested in the end of the week. 10% embers
Well that was an unexpected plant. It was supposed to be a green gelato photoperiod but it started flowering after it got topped in around day 20. It was a dwarf plant with many leaves coming out from the buds with an intense aroma of citrus during all flowering stage. Buds were not compact so it only needed 4 days to completely dry.
Weight was 23 grams but the buds got lots of small sugar leaves on them as it was hard to remove them and keep the buds intact at the same time.
I will update again once I let them cure for a while.
Week 12 comes with no issues. Humidity dropped to 35-45% and temps increased a couple degrees both during the light and dark period due to weather change. Feed remained the same.
Autoflower plant is harvested so they got a little more space in the tent now.
Some fan leaves turned yellow this week. I believe it is a deficiency as they have been watered with just 6 pH water between feeds and its unlikely to be efficiency. It looks like that it is a mag deficiency as appears in the picture. Biogrow which is biobizz's product with highest % of Mag wasn't used last 2 weeks and I think that might be what caused the deficiency.
Overall Green Gelatos are getting dense and smell sweet herbal, 2 short Hulkberries flowering up good as well but the tall one which is the one stretched more takes her time. Hulkberries aroma is a bit gassy but weaker than gelatos at the moment.
This week few top buds from both Gelato plants popped up some white tips which appear to be light bleaching(never experienced it before). Light distance from the plants increased 15 cm.
0.8ml/L of Atami NRG Flavor was added to the feed.
During week 7(bloom) like corona lock down wasn't enough we had major weather change. Temp dropped significantly and humidity levels increased to 70%(outdoors RH).
As far this goes on it is necessary to use a strong dehumidifier inside tent for half an hour every 2 hours as once the lights are off the humidity climbs 65%+ without it.
Feed remained the same.
GG# 1 looks like most of its pistils are orange so in the end of the week I ll have a look with the microscope and might start flushing it.
Week 8 of flowering comes with no problems.
Feeding remained the same with only difference top-max increased from 1ml/L to 2.5ml/L.
Light defoliation applied to some plants for more clear canopy.
In day 106 Green Gelato both plants were checked with microscope and most crystals in both of them are milky. Last couple of feeds and I start flushing them.
On day 108 GG#1 got flushed with 2-2.5L ph'd rain water which was collected from this week's non stop rain. Normal feeding applied for the rest of the plants.
Day 113, week 9 of flowering started with another crystal check with the microscope.
HB#1 and GG#1 have almost all crystals milky and will be watered with a mix of tap water and rain water a couple more times before they are let to completely dry and get chopped 😋
GG#2, HB#2 and HB#3 have few crystals still clear and will be given more time. Even though they have some burn tips on the leaves and will be watered with rain water until the end.
***Rainwater is mixed with tap water to get the temp right as my collected rain water's temp is low. Ph 6.3***
On day 120 Green Gelato #1 was chopped down after being left to dry and 48 hours of darkness. Harvest will be updated next week when Green Gelato #2 is chopped as well.
Hulkberry #1 is almost ready to get chopped. Was last flushed yesterday and will be chopped once it gets dry and 24 hours of darkness.
Hulkberry #2 and #3 will stay the full week and hopefully will be ready to get chopped the week after.
GG#1 was chopped down on day 120 after 48 hours of darkness and is now drying. It has been trimmed but it was a very leafy pheno and will have a second round of trimming when dry.
After a bit more than 5 days drying and a little extra trimming it is now curing in the Jar. Total dry weight is 42g.
Tastes & effects will be updated after curing in few weeks.
GG#2 was chopped at day 127
After 4 days hanging at 45% RH and 21 c was ready to get into the Jar. Total dry weight was 60g
HB#1 was chopped at day 124 after 48 hours of darkness. It was the smallest of the HBs but really pretty and dense. It also did mature earlier than the other 2 HB. It is now drying in 20c and 50-60 RH.
HB#2 and HB#3 needed 2 more weeks than HB#1. They dried for 8 days in 60-65% and 25c.
Overall it was not the easiest strain to grow but neither a very hard one.
It seems that I got 2 different phenos. HB#1 has a more balanced effect , with strong long lasting buzz in body and mind and can be used during the day (with care cause it can get you paranoid a bit 👽) but can be used for sleeping at night as well. Most dominant smell is spicy and herbal. Taste is herbal and spicy as well with some fruity note which I can not determine.
HB#2 and HB#3 are more into sativa. You get a body 5 mins after the smoke but the buzz in the head is dominant. It is such a pleasure smoking it during the day as it provides a superb calmness and by the same time allowing you to be active for you day duties. Most dominant smell in HB#2 and #3 are Herbal,Fuel and some berrylike fruity note. Taste is sweet fruity 👌
Happy with the result and maybe I ll give another try in the future 👌
