One of my seeds did not break ground, so I dropped another and hence the staggered growth. Lets kick the tires and light the fires. I am growing in home made Pro Mix, which is peat, lime and perlite that is pH buffered to 6 ish. The seedlings have been receiving 1g MegaCrop / 4 L water. Welcome to Das Schloss!! Jan 25 Both are receiving 3g MegaCrop / 4 L water The younger seedling seems to be moving slower than her sister did at this time. Its only now starting to piece together its second set of leaves whereas the other one had those at day 6. I was however, running them 24 hours. I started to see a bit of stress and knocked back to 20 hours about 5 days ago.

The light is completely dimmed down as low as it will go, and using Lux meter on my phone, I have them sitting at 18k - 19k Lux. They have been nestled in their next landing spot waiting for node 5 or 6. At which time I will top to node 3 and begin the mainline process. Then finally after recovering a few days from topping, into Baron Von Blurple's Rekto pots with Speed Gill technology®️ Grow on Bro cha chos and Sis cha chas! Thursday Feb 6 3.5 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 19 C and 60 % rh Light is at 19 inches Day 28 and Day 22 Some white spots showing on BS1, I did have some water sitting on a leaf a while back, could be that, or too close to the light. Wednesday Feb 12 3.0 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 19 C and 60 % rh Light is at 19 inches Day 34 and Day 28 Giving the photo update today as tommorow I will be topping both of them to the third node. BS2 has surpassed BS1 in size but not in nodes. I noticed BS1 getting greener than I would like, so I have knocked back the feedings to 3.0 g / 4 L. Its definitely 2 different phenos, with BS1 being the more compact of the 2. They have been fed up until now with a turkey baster and getting about 2 -3 full squeezes. Using Jiffy Pellets, I am going to attempt to use the toppings for clones. I know...you should use the side clippings, but I'll have the tops and by Thor and Odin, I will give those a go. So please chime in with your tips for me. Thursday, Feb 13 Topping went off as planned today. Soaked the pellets in 1.5 g / 4 L Mega Crop, dusted with root stim powder, and sitting in Ghettoquarium®️ . Tops are really small and I'll be amazed if these take, but this will be my journey to get my Lil Propagater badge. Sunday, Feb 16 4.0 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 19 C and 60 % rh Light is at 19 inches Day 38 and Day 32 Up potted today. Looks like they were ready to move into bigger digs.

Thursday Feb 20 4.0 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 19 C and 60 % rh Light is at 19 inches Day 42 and Day 36 The Black Sugars dont seem to have any gripes about being topped and moved into the bigger pots. BS1 does have some discoloration starting to show up on its oldest leaves, also has some sporadic white spots its had since its beggining. BS2, despite being younger by a week, is a champ and has some finer growing genes I hope to capture in her cloned offspring. LST training has begun and the spreading of the offshoots is into its second node with plans to top at 4 nodes. Friday, Feb 21 I snapped half my mainline on BS2. Im bummed. I guess moving forward, the plan would be to let it straighten up a bit, top at the 4 th node and observe from there. Most likely quad it. Sunday , Feb 23 4.0 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 19 C and 60 % rh Light is at 18 inches Day 45 and Day 39 My fix to borking half my mainline was to let the remaining stem stretch to the light for a day and straighten up, which it did. I then topped above the 4 th node and am now letting the little grow shoots do their thing. I then had to physically stick my hands in the dirt and spin BS2 90 degrees to align the grow shoots in a North - South position. I should now be able to resume mainlining once the shoots get going. A week delay for the super pheno BS2 that is already a week younger than BS1. I dont doubt it will catch up to BS1 in no time.

BS2 has recovered and its back to business with mainlining. Sunday, March 1 4.0 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 19 C and 60 % rh Light is at 18 inches Day 52 and Day 45 Well, I did it again....I snapped BS2. The picture doesnt really show it, but its the unbinded stalk. Its not as bad this time in that its still holding onto the stalk, but not by much. I wouldnt be able to tape it without borking it. So Im leaving it and hoping that it can heal itself. I have raised the fan so that it doesnt speed wobble the thing off. This pheno, although a fantastic and robust grower, has a stalk like celery and doesnt like training. BS1 is much more flexible. Update. Its broke. Again. So now i guess I let it straighten out, and treat it like a whack a mole. Where ever it gets apical dominance, I will top it.

Trying to decide if I should take 2nd toppings at 4th node or 5th. Im leaning towards the 5th so it will get closer to the edge of the pot. So more wait and more veg, I still only have 2 flower points at this stage. BS2 has recovered and we continue on. I could still mainline this, albeit it will be 90 degrees off kilter from BS1 and the strategy will be a little different in number of nodes before 2nd and 3rd topping Sunday, March 8 4.5 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 19 C and 60 % rh Light is at 18 inches Day 57 and Day 51 BS1 received its 2nd topping on one side, it was topped above 4th node. The other side will have to wait a bit as the surgery would be a little touch and go. Both plants were upped on their feeding .5g

BS2 is being pulled apart and it too will receive its 2nd topping in the next few days. The covered wire thingies are definitely better than the bare coat hangers I was using. Sunday, March 15 4.5 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 19 C and 60 % rh Light is at 18 inches Day 64 and Day 58 Starting to see the infrastructure come together now. BS1 has one more top left on all the corners. That should happen upcoming mid week. BS2 is now in quarters and I will send those 4 shoots north and south and let the shoots that pop up on the length happen. I see a light at the end of veg tunnel.

Because Im lazy and dont like cleaning up water, I dont water until run off. So with flowering coming up next week I thought it would be proactive and give them 8 Liters of water rinse, followed up with 2 liters of full strength 5.5 g MegaCrop/ 4 L. Media is now ready for the flower haul. I also cleaned up them up and got rid of some old, but perfectly healthy, fan leaves.

Both of the Black Sugars will be vegging it out until Sunday when I will flip. You can see some deficiency show up on the oldest leaves of Black Sugar 1. These leaves have done the majority of the heavy lifting for this plant and are getting a little tired. This was aggravated by the rinse/reset. I tend to see this whenever I rinse/reset. Which is why it is so important to follow your rinse with a full nute reset. I also brought in the Little Amazon light that could to Das Schloß and when we start seeing hairs, I will engage that to support the Mommas in the back row.

The most stretch I have seen out of the Black Sugars has happened in the last 3 days. Im still waiting for the Gelatos to give me that holy shit moment. Debating if I will defol, schwazz, or do nothing on this grow. Im leaning towards just shaving the legs and thats it.

Maybe the 1's will kick up in a bit here or maybe they wont. Same deal with the Blue Gelatos. So far, very little stretch. The clones have been drinking quite steadily after flower flip. Still no roots in the Ghettoquarium®️, but I think I will put them all in solo cups come the weekend. I also will give the clones a rinse/reset. One of the Black Sugar2's was hinting that it was time, so I did...the rest shall follow. 6.0 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 23 C and 52 % rh Light is at 18 inches Flower Day 21 Sunday, April 26 The Pandemic Grow soldiers on! Still have to rinse / reset the Gelatos, but that will be when they dry out. This should be it for maintenance now. I did some very minor leaf trimming, for the most part they were pretty clean and uncluttered and will enjoy the photonic ride from here out. The Ghettoquarium®️ has finally got some roots showing in 2 of 5 of my clones. Other than that they still look healthy and have grown some greenery. It should be known that I have officially run out of my sample of Mega Crop. It lasted all of this journal and a entire grow previous to this one. Thats a pretty healthy sample!

The Blue Gelatos are starting to impress me now. A lot of stacking starting on those already. I think there will be some nice colas on those two....short but phatties. All my clones have been potted or solo cup'd for the summer grow. I am swapping some Black Sug's for some Crop King Tahoe Cookies clones with a growmie and the Summer outdoor grow will have those mixed in with the Black Sug's and Blue Gelatos. This is fun! 6.0 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 23 C and 55 % rh Light is at 18 inches Flower Day 28 Sunday, May 4 Thought I would point out the obvious of the 2 different phenos of Black Sugar. Black Sugar1 has been a more compact and stacking flower, while the Black Sugar2s have more inter-nodal distance and had a bigger stretch. As of now, the Black Sugar 1's look like the better cola. Also, one of my Black Sugar1 clones has some rusting that looks like calcium deff to me. Usually I see this after a rinse/reset that I attribute to the short time of the medium having no nutes in it. About the only thing I can figure. At any rate I premade up 3 milk jugs of the next nuteing with a 1/2 tablespoon of home made Cal Mag in it each.

6.0 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 23 C and 55 % rh Light is at 18 inches Flower Day 32 Thursday, May 7 Right about the April 26 feeding after I rinsed the media, I reset with the very last scoop of Mega Crop I had that was from the sample. All well and fine, except after a week I noticed the Black Sugar1 clones starting to rust and spot. Thinking that this was a Calcium deff, the next feed I Cal Mag'd with homemade Cal Mag. The BS1's continued to downgrade...and I thought, what the blue bloody blazes is going on here? Turns out, it was too much Calcium, and it was being bleeded out the tips and causing secondary lockout. Im thinking ....how? And then it hit me....the last scoop of Mega Crop had a lot of balls in it. Too much from the looks of things. So what did I do...I CalMag'd and made things worse. Today, after coming to that solid conclusion, I re rinsed with 1/3 strength nutes and I think I have it back on track. Beware of the last scoop of MegaCrop lil cultivators! I was having the perfect grow going too.... 6.0 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 23 C and 53 % rh Light is at 18 inches Flower Day 35 Sunday, May 10 Looks like the brakes have been put on the Calcium problem and the ship has righted its course. Taco'ing has become quite prevalent on all but Black Sugar2 Momma. No concern, if you dont tip burn, and dont taco....your not pushing your athletes.

You'll notice the Black Sugar1 clones have some of their fan leaves clipped in the clone fashion to get rid of some of the ugly left behind from the Calcium bender. If this grow ended today, I would be quite satisfied with how things went and how the plants progressed. But it wont...They still have around 3 weeks of bulking left. This makes The Baron euphoric inside. 6.5 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 23 C and 53 % rh Light is at 19 inches Flower Day 43 Monaday, May 18 .5 g increase in nutes from here to the end. Blue Gelatos leaves are changing shades of blue-green. Tent is very aromatic now, but im still running with no filter as its not that crazy outside of the tent.

Its been a really impressive bud structure. The outdoor grow, which is still inside, all got topped today with the exception of the little mutant Blue Gelato. Grow on Bro cha chos and Sis cha chas! 6.5 g MegaCrop / 4 L VPD is set at 23 C and 53 % rh Light is at 19 inches Flower Day 49 Sunday, May 24 The plants have noticeably slowed down in drinking this week, as the water from Monday would last another day or so, but I watered anyway. The bulking seems to have coincided with the watering as well. I do not flush my plants, as I do not believe in shocking them with no nutes when they more than ever need nutes. I also do not believe you clear any excess nutes out of the plant by starving it, but thats a whole new discussion....so full nutes until choppity chop. Everything is perfectly milky on the Trichs, so I am leaning towards a next week harvest which will put the Black Sugars at 55-56 days. Right on with what Seedsman has stated the flower time would be. The Gelatos have stated a over 60 day flower time, so we will let those ripen until then at least.

Although, these are not the most frostiest of buds (they are no slouches either). They are most definitely the biggest. Everytime I open the tent, I laugh to myself and shake my head....I just cant believe it. Sad that its coming to a end, but eagerly anticipate the chop/trim/dry/cure/vape. Day 60 It was a grow that will be the measuring stick for my future grows. It was a absolute pleasure cruise the whole way with this run. Very little problems, zero pest issues, and the buds are big as hell and sticky as phuk. Flowering time was almost what the breeder suggested . Seedsman suggested 55 - 60 days. I went 60 but easily could have gone 65 ish . Normally I shoot for 25 percent amber, but this time I went all milky with only a rare amber sighting.
