After 3 weeks inside its small germination pot, today I transplanted this beautiful Blue Mystic seedling inside its new home, a 12.5L pot.
Unfortunately I have still not received the pulley system to adjust my LED lamp’s height, so, until then, for some days the plant will be kept at least 1m far-away from the lamp.
Winter’s coming. The temperature dropped down so hard last week, so I need to buy something to fix this problem asap.
Also, I’m waiting for new Advanced Nutrients as well (that should be delivered this week), and that’s why I used my old Biomagno nutrients for the first new pot’s watering.
Well, let’s say this week is still a bit messy and kinda temporary, but it’s a good starting point ;-)
New leaves, yay!
She's not growing as fast as the Euphoria, but well, they're different strains.
Blue Mystic is an indica dominant strain, so she's not gonna grow that much. Also, she’s located on the right of led light (not totally centered)
Added an humidifier to keep a constant humidity level of 55% in the grow room.
The temperature just outside the grow room is 10C, and even more outside is 0C!!
It's a miracle I can keep a temperature over 20C inside the room ;)
UPDATE: TOPPED!
A nice cut just over the 3rd node. She’s still kinda small and fat, and this is because of the light that was too close to the plant last week. Now she’s 60cm far away from that. Because of the top, I gave her 2ml of Voodoo Juice to help her radicate a little bit more. Let’s see what happens!
No much vertical growth due to the topping I did last week, but as you can see she’s recovering well from it! She’s gonna be bushy, but that’s how indicas normally work 😎💪
I think her sister has better looks. In the first 3 photos you can see her, in the other ones there’s her sister. Everything’s good here. They’ve been both topped once two weeks ago, they’ve recovered well and now I’m waiting for them to grow a little more and then start flowering in about 2-3 weeks
There’s some stretch going on, and this is nice because nearest plants are becoming so big at the moment! The smell is still kinda weak. Added some Big Bud to help her grow better bud sites. Anyway, pistils still don’t show up
Last year I’ve tried my first Blueberry’s family strain ever, the Blue Cheese. I loved her. One of the best high I’ve ever had. Since then, I decided to try them all. I chose this strain because she is almost 100% indica and because I wanted to do a RQS only cycle, and unfortunately they didn’t have the original Blueberry (please RQS, add her to the catalog!!!).
By the way, although I have two Blue Mystic, only this one has her own diary. Her sister is similar, but located at the opposide side of the box. Well, they have been the first, together with the Gorilla, to show pistils and then create the first small flowers. Couldn’t be happier, especially after the problem (with a defective digital timer) that caused the flowering phase to delay by 2 weeks. I’ve just removed some lower leaves that coudn’t get the right amount of light, and since the soil was a bit dry, I’ve given 500ml of water (and nuts) more. Because of the delay (in which I’ve started giving bloom nuts), I’ll have to give them “week 3” nuts for two more weeks, maybe reducing by 50% the B-52 and Big Bud dosages (they could be a little too much). See you next week buds!! Cheers ☀️
Everything’s fine. Flowers getting bigger. Will give just half of B-52 this week, and resume with full schedule from next week. The smell is very low and her sister is in the same stage with very similar buds.
This week I removed 3 plants from the grow room. As a consequence, the remaining 6 thanked me and literally exploded, both vertically and horizontally. This Blue Mystic grew 20cm in just one week, which is a nice stretch for an indica. Since the temperature in the bottom of the grow box was cold and the soil was never drying up, I decided to move the 2 ceramic heat lamps right there. Next week we’ll see if this was a good or bad move. Peace ✌️
Last week I confused Blue Mystic #1 and #2, and reported #2 data instead of #1 one. No problem, I’ll be updating with these values from today (just to know, Blue Mystic #1 is 68cm and it’s 57cm far away from the lamp). By the way, #2 is higher and bigger. The same happened with my Dance World #2. Blue Mystic is a beautiful strain. If I touch sugar leaves, I can smell a powerful grape and in general very fruity aroma. Of course it smells like weed, but a sweet fruity weed. It’s really nice. Can’t wait to smoke her flowers!
New arrival in the grow room this week! I made some changes to fit this new setting. Since the new plant could obscure the two Blue Mystic, I put both the 36W led lamps I used for the CBD Crack above the two Blue Mystic. Now they’re getting plenty of new light. The led chips of the 36W are the same of the main 384W led panel. This is good because I know that the source of light is quite powerful. Both the plants are in a stage where they’re just increasing the size of their colas and stopped vegetative growth completely. Next week will be the last one with these nutrients. After then, Overdrive will take over and make them literally explode! Stay tuned.
Overdrive’s kickin in! What a delicious smell! Both the plants are super healthy and look good. Maybe Blue Mystic #1 is some days behind the sister, but not that much. See you next week for (I think) the final nutrients intake before flushing. Yo!
Blue Mystic #1 is finally showing some good buds. Not much to say about #2 since she’s fabulous and she’s doing great.
This is the last week of nutrients. Next week I’ll flush them both 😱😎
Sorry for photos with LED lights on, but all my external lights are busy at the moment!!
Final flush has come! Blue Mystic #1 is at week 18 from seed (day 130), Blue Mystic #2 is at week 17 from seed (day 121). #1 is still some days behind the little sister, but it’s almost time to harvest! The scent is REALLY incredible. When you touch sugar leaves, an intense fruity small comes out and covers the area. Wow. My bro suggested me to even eat one of Blue Mystic #2 leaves, which are some beauties for the sight. See you next week, I think, for the harvest. Can’t wait!! 🍓
Hey hey buds!
Now that I’m writing this, my house smells like Blueberry, and it’s a real pleasure. I’ve just harvested these two ladies. I think they could stay there for two more days, but all the trichomes were milky. Since I don’t like too strong narcotic effects, I decided to stop now, at day 143 (week 20) for Blue Mystic #1, and day 133 (week 19) for Blue Mystic #2. Even if one was planted one week before the other, the second one, at the end, was stronger and more productive.
Blue Mystic #1, the oldest one, has a citrus smell, while Blue Mystic #2 has a strong sweet, berry smell. I think I’ve found two different phenotypes of the same strain. I mean, her genetics are Northern Light x Blueberry, so I think I got both them two.
I didn’t try any sample because I wanted to dry buds up before. Now they’re hanging on the net for like 10 days and I’ll do a smoke report as soon as possible.
About their growth: BM#1 had some problems from the beginning to the end. I mean, not dangerous problems, but she definitely was more sensible to nutes, and was in a position where she couldn’t dry her soil up very easily. At the end, I flushed her with too much Flawless Finish, while soil was still wet, and I think I caused a nutrients lockdown. Many errors altogether. BM#2 grew up perfectly, but when I flushed her I did the same errors with Flawless Finish, and I think I caused some magnesium excess, that covered every leaf with many yellow/white spots.
For the moment, I got 76g wet from Blue Mystic #1, and 116g wet from Blue Mystic #2, that is 192g wet in total. Let’s see how many grams I’ll get from dried up buds.
Of course I could do better, but winter+so many plants have been very hard to manage. Will be back very soon with new amazing strains 😎🖐️
Hi mate, the plants are looking so great, congratulations. I have a small problem, I took the plants to the flowering period. Its been almost 3 weeks but the buds are so small nearly they cannot be seen. Its my first planting, so if you look at my diary and give me advices, I would be so thankfull. Best regards, and good harvest. 🙂
@Mr_Di Yes, it’s actually a very good brand!
I used Biomassa as well on my last growth, and it worked like a charm!
This time I’m gonna be using Advanced Nutrients as main brand. I’m expecting amazing results!
Theres nothing I love more than logging on and seeing a beautiful little seedling in my feed. She looks like such a gorgeous little baby and I can't wait for the surprises she has in store for us. I'm excited to see where this grow goes and how it turns out. I'm even more excited to see the methods of training and the nutrient regiment you have planned for her. I wish you the best of luck in this grow and I'm ecstatic to see what happens. Best wishes buddy, Cheers.
@DabCrab, Thank you very, very much, buddy! The space inside the grow room is limited because of the number of the plants, so not much space for an horizontal growth. By the way, I’m gonna top this beautiful lady very soon, and, if everything works well, some LST as well. We’ll see that! I wish you an happy growing as well. Cheers!
@TOTEM, come a long way since Christmas 😂! Idc what anyone says I love the LED exposed pictures. Reminds me of the black light posters from back in the day. Namely the Sublime sun. She’s looking beautiful my friend!
Nice work Buddy can see the difference in the two ones pistols changing and buds ripening other not quite there yet shaped well and some decent frost coming on them sugar leaves good going dude
@biggreens420, It's all happening so fast! You're right, harvest time almost here, and I think those buds will fatten up a little more in just a few days, if they keep growing at this pace. Thank you, as always, for stopping by and sharing your thoughts, bro!
Congratulations bro my blue mystic tasted and smoked like lemon haze so i understand what u mean with the citrus i thought it was because it was early but could just be a certain pheno from the strain might have to try it again to get the blueberry pheno nice work I'v enjoyed following along I'll be watching for your next ones good luck
@biggreens420, Thank you bro, I don’t know why I missed these comments!!! The high is very very very strong, the smell is something incredible. That lemon, fruity, and a bit tropical taste it’s a total delight! Yum!
Ciao @totem.
Bio magno is organic fert. when your adv.nut will arrive, wait a few days before using them. use only water, then go to new fert. Or did you order the organic line of adv.nut?
