Flowering Days 29 to 35
04/14/2020 (F30):
- watered both plants (letting my male go) with just filtered water, pH 6. Not using any nutes this time as a mid-flower flush. 2 gallons each
- did one last defoliation on both the Star Pupil and Five Star, they grew out new leaves very quickly since the last defoliation so I needed the canopy to be less dense for light penetration to the lower buds and for air flow. The Star Pupil got defoliated a lot more heavily as she grew very very bushy and compact. This will be the final defoliation, for real this time!
- re-adjusted my sensors and their cables so they aren't in the way of the lights.
04/16/2020 (F32): we've been getting cold days so the temp at night drops to 62-63F, doesn't look like it's affecting the plants.
04/17/2020 (F33):
- watered both plants with filtered water, ph 6.15, 1mL/gal TPS CalMag AOC, 8mL/gal TPS-One, 2.25 gallons each.
- added a small dehumidifier to the tent to start stabilizing room humidity under 50, and start going down as we get later into flower.
growing 5 star and it has turned purple with great bud formation in week 7 of flower - takes 8 weeks - also did star pupil but 5 star was the best all round and has that Pack-a-stand along with afghan and Thai _ going to get a very high yield for thisstrain
looks like "n" issues because of the leaves just flush and let plant get very dry before feeding - don't get me wrong great looking plants - these two strains can be difficult

have gotten good yields with a 30day veg not counting germination and seedling stages ( I start veg time when there are 3 "true" sets of leaves) I am on week 8 - at the end 60day flower - will be harvesting in 2 days There flowwer times are right on. Here are a few that I have: 5 Star - Star Pupil -Panama Goo -Fisheye OG -Acapulco Gold (a pure sativa heirloom/landrance) and GOJI Pupil
with a 30day flower = 3 foot plant = 1/2 / to 1 lb harvest

They're in FF Happy Frog soil (with ~30% perlite), I only started feeding her some FF Big Bloom (barely any N) and some CalMag at 5 weeks. the recent clawing is due to feeding her some of FF's Grow Big once. As for watering I've been letting them getting very dry (3-5 days). I've been reading up Mass Medical Strains' tips and listening to his podcasts, very informative.
They're showing (I think) potassium deficiency but I'm not sure what to feed her without adding too much nitrogen (that's why I tried giving them some FF GrowBig)
Probably gonna veg them a full 8 weeks before flipping to flowering, it's gonna be hard to wait!
I noticed that you didn't get the purple pheno of the Star Pupil. How big were the buds? Large fat kolas or just clusters of bud at roughly a foot or less intervals?
If you can remember. I'm currently growing that strain right now and I've got two purple Phenos and two non purple phenos
watch the "N" with these plants - don't hardly give them much at all and also you can let them get very dry between feeding/watering - mean letting them go for 3-4 days no water
