Christmas week when I installed an automatic watering machine, since I wasn't with them over Christmas. Day 36 - 23.12. machine start. watered in morning with machine. each 4min approx. 800ml with 1 day old mix of low nutes of bloom, topmax, heaven, grow. Day 37 - 24.12. not at home Day 38 - 25.12. supposed to water 800 each Day 39 - 26.12. Day 40 - 27.12. back home. supp. to water 800 each. it did. but they feel light already. 2l for all three with 2/3 of the dose of week 5 except topmax. Day 41 - 28.12. wedding cake shows brown tips on new growth 😱 next time plain water Day 42 - 29.12. dried out again, needed to water more. 2l for all three mit 4ml calmag. watered until runthrough. Learned, amount of water given increases fast especially in stretching phase first 2-3 weeks in flower.

starkestarted grow question 5 years ago
I just harvested this plant and after looking at her rootball, I saw a white patch close to the stem (see pics), does anybody have any idea, what that might be? Also, does anyone have experience with checking soil after harvest and "learning" anything from it? Thank you <3!

I always check my root structure at the end and do a sort of evaluation. Iv'e learned from hydro grows that It simply can not grow if the roots can't grow the they want too :). It could be salt... It could be just a harmless bacteria that happened to thrive for a bit your soil. Your harvest looks great :), Your wedding cake turned out way better then mine I blame the poor quality led light I was using.

Thank you @Buddha2 🙏 Especially looking forward trying her low and slow dried bud, her smell is insanely strong of hash. Happy growing, will follow your diaries, any more upcoming seeds?

Bro how did you get your buds so dense and dank looking? I'm growing wedding cake also and my buds don't look the same as yours could you let me know what I'm doing wrong?

Hey @HazeGrowGang, no worries, your buds look great. Maybe we have a different phenotype and also these buds only looked dense, but they were small stinky nuggets. All a matter of perspective :) Check your trichomes and give them some more time. Patience... Happy day and enjoy your buds soon ✌️

@@Resin_Randy, she is the smallest of all three and if you look at other grows here, they all look so different :) Happy growing (and happy harvest to me soon). We really enjoyed smoking this strain on our recent trip.

This is a little late but... that white fuzzy patch on your root ball appears to be a colony of Mycorrhizae. Mycorrhizae usually looks like white fuzzy stuff but that’s exactly what you want in there! I look forward to seeing your next harvest!!
