This plant will surprise you after a couple of weeks of curing. She might not look like it, but she was the best tasting bud (compared to the Blue Dream Auto and the GSC Auto) and turned into our special treat.
Growing her, she has beautiful colours and hair, but she really surprised me with her beauty while trimming (small hard stinky nuggets). She was tried regularly and in the fridge with a low and slow drying method to preserve all the good stuff you lose while drying regularly. You get to experience the while taste spectrum that way.
She is a beautiful and quirky plant. She was the fastest & bushiest growing. She has a strong smell of hash, which I remember from smoking it in Amsterdam and the US. So far I have not seen one of these plants look like the other, they are all so different. She doesn't take nutrients too good, almost sensitive, compared with my two other plants. From looks she looked the least finished, still lots of green leaves, almost no fading. But her trichomes were the most developed, which I'm glad I checked regularly. She is also def. one which is swelling a good bit nearing the end, especially the calyxes, never seen them swell that much.
Best things learned with this one: Go super slow on the nutes (#comeback), she reacts well to Amino acids in stem fatness and structure, she will fatten up in the last weeks and show massive calyx swelling, check trichomes religiously and chop based on a good average all over the plant and not on looks. All in all she is a nice memory grow, we loved this strain and smoked it a lot last year and can now smoke it all the time 😍Thank you for the music, @Original Sensible Seeds
Flawless Finish seems to have improved the flush and enhanced the fading, beautiful colors. Bud Candy, I imagine it changed the smell, but might not be from it? Will use it again and maybe compare properly next time.
Can't complain, but can't compare also... I would recommend to only use Veg light cluster, if you have plants in small cups/pots in the beginning other wise the light will not reach all plants in all corners. You can also turn on all three buttons right from the beginning.
I like the look of it, so far have been happy with quality, recently the fabric under the zipper has started to become fizzy, not good especially for the price. We will see...
UPDATE - 24th of February 2020 - DRY WEIGHT & LOVE
32g total dry weight, after I gave them a very nice trim. They started curing in glass jars on 19/2/2020 and are currently only at 61%RH inside. I let them dry too long :( They felt really dry when I took them out, min. 2-3 earlier would've been better. Slowly bringing them back up in humidity. Adding Bovedas soon. Burping every day for couple of minutes.
Buds are small and dense, just like I remembered them. Also their smell is very familiar, hashy and strong. Getting better by the days. I dream of them becoming small hash balls, aaaaah 😍 Depending on how well they smoke (worried because of drying too long), I will make them into oils or press them into something.
I am happy with this grow and look forward growing her again, seeing an all new side to her. She has beautiful colors and hair, really surprised me with her beauty while trimming. I can't wait to try her properly cured and get to learn her whole taste spectrum with the low and slow dried buds. Some of them will be processed to oil and edibles. If I find time, I might document some more. Until then, happy growing everyone, peace 🙏
Tried 2 different drying methods:
1. Regular hang dry: For 10 days in small grow tent, darkness at 50% humidity & 20°C/68F - she was way too dry after all those days 😱
2. Low & Slow dry: after washing & hang-drying for 4 hours, she went into the fridge for 8 days in a paper bag, followed by several jar tests until she was at a steady 65% outside; She dried like this in the fridge for 8 days. I didn't trim her too much, since I want to preserve everything for oils.
Some details:
16. Nov. 2019 - 10. Feb. 2020 - 85 Days - Grown from Seed
Smell of Hash; Massive swolen calyxes; Lots of green leaves until the end.
Chop on 10. Feb 2020 - 266g (stem on)
Put in pot in Dry Tent Darkness for 48 hours.
(50% humidity & 20°C/68F)
Total wet - no trim - 266g
Total wet - slight trim - 244g
//Regular dry in tent - 50% humidity & 20°C/68F // 180g with little trim went in
Total dry - trim - 24g
//Low and slow dry in fridge // 46g went in paper bags in fridge (forgot one bud in the hang dry box)
Total dry - trim - 8g
Check 420magazine for “Low and Slow”-Dry. They are lovely.
Happy day to you all
I just harvested this plant and after looking at her rootball, I saw a white patch close to the stem (see pics), does anybody have any idea, what that might be? Also, does anyone have experience with checking soil after harvest and "learning" anything from it? Thank you <3!
I always check my root structure at the end and do a sort of evaluation. Iv'e learned from hydro grows that It simply can not grow if the roots can't grow the they want too :). It could be salt... It could be just a harmless bacteria that happened to thrive for a bit your soil. Your harvest looks great :), Your wedding cake turned out way better then mine I blame the poor quality led light I was using.
Bro how did you get your buds so dense and dank looking? I'm growing wedding cake also and my buds don't look the same as yours could you let me know what I'm doing wrong?
Thank you @Buddha2 🙏 Especially looking forward trying her low and slow dried bud, her smell is insanely strong of hash. Happy growing, will follow your diaries, any more upcoming seeds?

Hey @HazeGrowGang, no worries, your buds look great. Maybe we have a different phenotype and also these buds only looked dense, but they were small stinky nuggets. All a matter of perspective :) Check your trichomes and give them some more time. Patience... Happy day and enjoy your buds soon ✌️
@@Resin_Randy, she is the smallest of all three and if you look at other grows here, they all look so different :) Happy growing (and happy harvest to me soon). We really enjoyed smoking this strain on our recent trip.
This is a little late but... that white fuzzy patch on your root ball appears to be a colony of Mycorrhizae. Mycorrhizae usually looks like white fuzzy stuff but that’s exactly what you want in there! I look forward to seeing your next harvest!!
