Living with Zamnesia !!

So here we are at week 2 and the Zamnesia girls are starting to settle into their big hugo cubes. I had to do another 1 of the Monster zkittelz as the 1st had fused coty leaves that didnt open at all even with help. The 2nd one is far happier and ready for fun The Banana is in need of a feed now along with a few of the other ladies so a 1g/2L feed was made of MC . let's see if we can get some solent green in the house

A very slow growth week this week. The harvest is done for the autos so i am only using the single sp250. This has dropped the temps to a very low 17°c . I have added a heater and bought it up to 21°c and steady so I expect they will be happier the next week. Using the big Hugo cubes makes waterings few and far between even though I try not to use too much and get the roots searching more. Ideally I need a root full cube before they go into the nft. The introduction of Megacrop feeds has helped them colour up This week and have increased to .75g per L with calmag and silicon too. will watch for any tip burn now. All good so far. let's see next week.

Not a lot happening with these girls. Seems very slow to grow compared to the soil grow next to them. I am hoping they will take off once I to the nft. I have been keeping temps up around 21°c and feeding every 3 days so far.The cubes take an age to dry out so hard to get the feeds in by hand without drowning the roots. I think a one for roots to grow out would have helped rather than straight into the hugo cubes. Now upped the feed strength a little too so hopefully see some growth now.

Day 39 and overdue and update!: Another slow week for the ladies and waiting on my finishing touches to the room before I can put the tanks in and let them get off to the flying start they want to do !. I have nipped the small 5th nodes out and been encouraging them to quadline a little but they are still too little to put the pressure on yet . Now time is more available I can get busy on this run finally. I expect some nice results with these genetics

Day 43 veg. These two girls are finally starting to get their feet planted and growing. I have been a little worried that having to hold the. back as I did the room upgrade and waiting for their NFT set up. C Banana has grown a lot of new growth Thisbweek and been stretching upward . I have been softening their stems and bending in the same place to encourage a nice thick repair and knuckle. I am planning to quadline them out and maybe a few 6-lined . The monster has been going well too. she is quite bushy now so hopefully will be a many headed beasty. The room is all set for the move to their NFT know so hopefully be in tomorrow and flipped in about 2 weeks time all being well.

A great week this week with their growth and colour. They have all got over their topping sessions and the trauma of being sat in just a cube while their fellow plants basked in their pots !!!. They have begun to grow overnight it seems and I now remember how NFT can go. Better be ready with some ties and tape for the bursts in growth. They are loving the mc at the rate I am using now alongside the shogun silicon and calmag too. No signs of tip burn or unhappiness so far. I snapped a coupke of branches during their supercropping but they certainly wint miss them I sont think. there ate so many good candidates for final colas now . Now the training can get underway. I want to flip them soon so the speed is the deciding factor as to when they get their flowering cycle. Have fun Growmies

Week 7 and all is going very well with their transition to the tanks. They have begun to weave roots into the matting now so are well anchored. The C Banana has been streching out well and I am continuing the bends and squashing her stem to create a decent knot to hold her down where she is quaded. It always looks so rough but the end results can be amazing for repair strength. The monster zkittelz is a little.more busy and robust. She has some nice thick and hardy stems building and i expect she knows her fruit weight to come . Using the squashing and bending does add a little more recovery time each session but the punishment is no worse than nature would throw their way if wild. Always worth remembering a little stress can work wonders. Dont be afraid to control your grows , YOU put a lot into them , you deserve a reward for the comittment. FLIP DAY 1: it is here finally. I had hoped to her them a lot bigger before the flip but other plants are forcing the issue so I am going with them. C Banana is smallest of them both but her thick stems give an idea of how she wants to bud up for flowering. She is very thick and has a lot of growth spread out well. Each head has a few smaller nodes below already so should start the stacked fat colas early on hopefully. Monster zkittelz is a lot wider by comparison and certainly very productive too. bending her out and getting her to stay put has been an endeavor but also given me faith in this hybrid. She will be a productive girl I think. Nice work Zamnesia. let the fun begin.

These ladies are just starting to show their little white bud hairs in their new top growth. I am happy with their stretching speed so far and at 7 days they are still a good size to work with. I think they should fill the spaces they have perfectly once I am finished their training after defol. The growth in them leaves a lot of options for decent mains. The C Banana is spreading out steadily and her stems are nice and fruit supporting thick. No signs of any deficiency or issue so far and her roots are top notch below decks. Monster Zkittelz is certainly trying to be true to her namesake now and has put on some nice size this week. She is only just showing her pistils so a good stretch is still ongoing with her before she is finished. She is filling out the rear corner very well. be well Growmies

Day16 since flip: A good growth week for the stretching girls.There have been no issues with them at all and they are feeding well.No signs of any deficiency still and no environment probs. C Banana is stretching to reach the developing canopy well now and has helped form a nice field of buds. She is a very bushy plant below too and has taken to the training out very well. Like her stable mates , she needs a good haircut to get some light to the best looking potential colas and get the air moving within her too. Monster Zkittelz is now certainly getting monstrous, nice thick limbs covered in developing mains , creating a huge bud filled canopy of around 2.5ftx2ft. She is a beautiful plant to look at and will e able.to spread herself nicely at the back of the grow room. She is beginning to match the huge Fast Buds Fast Flowering #7 girl next to her for her dominance too. One to watch here I think. Easy to train and happy to stay put too it seems. Be safe Growmies.

Day 21: A steady week finishing their stretch this week. They have staked their claim to their spaces well but the C Banana could find herself hidden by the Monster and her other friend Fruity Gorilla Sorbet. She is slap bang in the middle and they are both very bushy neighbours. She has some great growth broke through the canopy and will be easy to manage Monster Zkittelz has got very dominant at the back corner. She has spread out so well and will be a very good size once she hits harvest. Lots of growth going on below stairs and her stems look good to support some nice big colas. Be safe and sane Growmies.

Day 28: The Girlies are doing well. C Banana is forming some nice buds and node stacking but is still a lot less productive than her stablemate. She is getting g a tacky feel to her and has been stripped out to get some air and light to the mains forming. Monster Zkittelz is keeping her namesake at the front of her plan and is growing daily. She is a very good producer so far and her nodes are less stacked but plentiful. They are taking the feed at a very good rate now and I am having to refill the res twice a week now. Buds are stacking up on these girls nicely and forming long looking main colas all over the place. I think C Bananas poor start has certainly held her back.

Day 35: The ladies have been steadily bud building and oozing sticky icky for the long haul this week. C Banana continues to push to the canopy top to grab some light and her smell is starting to pick up more now. She still isnt a big girl by a long shot but her bud stacking and feel should give some nice product. The Monster Zkittelz is now looking like a skinny armed version of G Glue. she has a lot of lowers that need more light now so I need to do a spot of training with canes I thinknthey bring her up to a better level for lumens. They have been taking plenty of feed and do not show any signs of any issues to date. All told , a steady week.

Day 42/56: Well , things are hotting up nicely now with these Zamnesia girls. This week has been mainly filling out the many headed beasts among the canopy and these girls have not been slouching. I think the C Banana would have done a lot better had she not been between her stablemate and my FGS girl . they have swamped her a little which has held her back in size and overall girth too. She smells very sweet and the tropical banana smell is certainly in effect.She feels nice and tacky too . no signs of her pistils browning up at all and she is still putting out lots of new pistil growth at this stage. Monster Zkittelz is a different deal and she has decided the area is hers !. She has a lot of lower growth and a good amount of her mains had begun to drop low from weight similar to GG#4. I have now supported her with Yo Yo's and some ties Her sweetness on touching her is instant and she smells more tropical fruity than her stablemate C Banana. Her health is bang on the money with no issues at all . she is similar in development as the banana but has way more bud sets and stacking up close she has nice tight buds and now I have to really start watching the humidity to avoid bud rot. Dehumidifier has been put in now for lights off time mainly as the temps have been a bit high to use it in the uk the past few days. I think they will go at least another 3 weeks before harvest so plenty of time for fattening those many tops. be safe Growmies.

DAY 49 : Another week passes and these 2 ladies are still up for the fight to another week. Banana is still struggling g in the middle and cant seem to get ahead. She smells beautiful up close but is sadly not a great competitor so far. What she does have in buds is smelling nice and they are fairly solid to touch , just not a big plant really. Monster Zkittelz on the other hand is a beast of plant . I Have been pulling lowers up to the light this week and she is so covered in secondary growth with nice sized , glistening buds that smell candy sweet . Grows very like GG in her thin arms and bigger buds but with a scrog net this strain would produce so well. I am not disappointed in her in any way. Another week and let's see where she is at then.

DAY 56 since flip: These girls could have done with some more space between them. Th C banana is so lost between her neighbouring plants , that she struggled to give her best. She is putting out a more defi ed fuel smell alongside the fruity smell. Buds are not particularly big at all but should hopefully give a couple of Oz . The Monster Zkittelz is a totally different lady. She is like a crazy aunt with limbs flying everywhere and refusing to stop flailing. I have her tied up like Gulliver just to keep her around the light. She smells so sweet and candy like now too with dusty tricks like biscuit crumbs. Another week I think and she will be perfect.

I have enjoyed running this excellent strain but regret not giving her the space and support that she would thrive with. Her recovery from lst was excellent and rapid and she grew very well during veg. I think that she would be brilliantly suited to a good size scrog grow to exploit her generous amount of limbs that grow out. She would fill a net by herself. The transition into flower was around day 10 of stretch . From that point she began building her many buds with out much help from me needed. Her under canopy buds were as full and big as the ones in light constantly. Her leaf to bud ratio is good as was her node length distances. A very easy strain to work with amd future grow for sure. Grab some of these seeds for a fruity punch that stinks so nice.

I did not see this girl burst with energy to grow at any point. She was not happy in the middle at all and seemed to give up trying after the stretch period. I did expect more from here but didn't see it happen. Maybe a one o issue and I will grow it again for the sheer smell alone. Not in my top 10 sadly bit worth the experience with her.
