Hello, this is my first try to grow marijuana, so I'm waiting advice from you :)
Seed germinated in Root Riot cube. After coming out, seedling had thin shell around the cotyledon (as it's shown on day 1 picture), I removed it gently and seedling sprouted the same day.
Don't know if I harmed one of cotyledon leaves, but it showed up defected... Although she is big girl now :)
Nothing special happened during the week, the girl is getting bushier and higher. Giving a bit more FloraMicro and FloraGro for more nitrogen and to fasten the growth. Don't know if I have to switch on ViparSpectra, she is under 2x CFL-s yet...
Switched on 300W Viparspectra on day 15 and I'll leave CFLs maybe until the end of vegetation.
Begun LST on day 18 and she responded well on it. I'm not experienced making LST, but studing :)
Hello, we are growing bigger, doing LST from day 18, on day 27 did light defoliation, switched off CFL light and the girl is now growing only on 300W LED light.
Hello, overall we are doing good.
Day 36 - Begin counting bloom phase.
Day 37 - Did defoliation once again and because of light Nitrogen overdose did flush with flora kleen.
Day 38 - 41 - Nothing special happened.
Day 41 - Gave nutrients for bloom phase and added it Bud Candy first time, the difference is huge with trichomes count (you can see the difference day 41 and day 42 closer bud photo are the same bud).
Day 42 - End of Week 6 (Week 1 - Bloom).
Hello, nutrients overdose spread further and I had to flush twice this week, planning to give half dose of nutrients next week, want to add nirvana and big bud.
It seems to be an overdose of some nutrients and a deficiency of others, generally it happens when the water is very heavy or a lot of nutritive solution is applied that remains in the soil, avoiding a correct absorption of nutrients, when it happened to me, I washed the roots and applied nutrients little by little
Honestly this is one of my biggest complaints with AN.. Why three different product names for what is all essentially P-K booster with different formulas.... When I'm using overdrive I will use it exactly as described by manufacturer... I might go a bit lighter on it then what manufacturer says as it still has nitrogen in it. I use approx. 1/ml per litre all the way up until last week before flush so if you have like 12 week flowering haze you would wanna keep running overdrive for like 4-5 weeks or extend your use of big bud.. Advanced Nutrients has the stupidest Nutrient Schedules..
Hello, I gave overdrive to the girl and the buds begun thicken, when to start flushing? how long do you think left till harvest? half trichomes are clear yet
Hi @soul7stealer I think 10-14 days and it is ready for harvest. you can already start flushing. I like to pick at the point when the trichomes are in general all milky in color and a few amber, you can let more amber trichomes appear, weed is stronger in THC but loses in flavor. good harvest mate 👍
Hello, last week some nice guys advised to continue big bud, instead of overdrive, 2 more weeks. Thank them the buds are doing better now, I think harvest is postponed for 2 weeks :)
Hello, week 12 ended. Gave overdrive twice in last week, planning to give it one more time and than flush twice. I think harvest will be in 12-14 days.
