First grow here in 3.5 gallons soilless media [see pic] using 5 gal Vivosun felt planters (extra planter rim material is rolled up). Growing two plants, first one was to be grown in a 5 gallon bubbler DWC as a single expirement grow but quickly changed. So the seeds are started about a week a apart. Each seed soaked (100ml RO Water, 1ml B-52) for 24 hours and tranferred into folded paper towel for about another 24 hours, when the taproot is 1/4 inch long planted directly to medium; the first seed was taken out of the rockwool in DWC in week one. Environment at 26 celsius and 65 RH with minimal airflow and 24 hour light for week one.

According to the plant in pics called "HST on the later seedling" what growth should I expect in this situation since I haven't topped the plant on this scrog? Please note the plant height would otherwise outgrow my tent.

Welcome to GD. Let me help you here. You are currently doing LST (low stress training) with a SCROG net. SCROG stands for screen of green. The idea is to keep your canopy even and have the plants spreader evenly as possible without compromising much of vertical growth, HST (high stress training) is more stress to the plants, especially auto flowers, because you are snapping branches to reshape them and also trying to save vertical growth too. As long as you keep your plants tucked under your SCROG net, it will spread evenly and then eventually flower itself. Once it goes through the stretch phase right before budding phase, you donā€™t worry about LST anymore because then it will only focus on budding. I hope this helps!

Does the leaf issue shown in the pics possibly come from magnesium deficiency, should I trim the larger affected leaves now?

@Rheaun hi mate I'd look at raising that humidity a little and its definately not magnesium more than likely its ph related calcium deficient

No pH nor feeding strength data, so I can't say for sure. Those curled edges could be wind burn or pH related. I would meassure pH and EC / PPM levels (both in and run out) before saying anything aout deficiencies. It looks like calcium deficiency, but it could be a lock out too, excess P or K, gives lockout of calcium and magnesium. Removing the leaves will achieve nothing.
