Planted 6 seeds directly into 3 inch pots with soil & perlite mix. Using humidity dome and heat mat, misting inside of dome once per day. All three Remo Chemo sprouted although one of the three is not doing so well. And only one of three Blue Fire sprouted.
No nutes yet just PH'd distilled water.
Only one of three Blue Fire seeds sprouted. Taking a bit of a loss this round not overly impressed.
2 Remo Chemo looking great with the 3rd still not doing so well
Still no nutes added. Only PH'd water
removed humidity dome and heat mat
Start of week 4 topped 2 x Remo Chemo at fifth node. Blue Fire very compact & healthy
Also noticed I'm still dealing with some powdery mildew spores in the grow room. Cleaned room again with bleach/water mixture and sprayed the plants with a mixture of water/baking soda & dish soap.
This week I transplanted the girls into 3 gallon fabric pots and moved them into a 4 x 2‘ tent
Some of the leaves are showing signs of discolour from the baking soda/soap/water mixture used to stop powdery mildew
Switched over to 12/12 this week and also replaced my older LED with the Spider Farmer SF 2000. Very bright light consuming 204 Watts. I’ll keep an eye on the girls and see how they like the new light
New growth on the Blue Fire is coming in a little lime green. I’m not sure if it’s the new lights or if she requires more nutes or if that's just normal with new growth sometimes.
Any suggestions? Cheers
I am at a loss with HSO blue fire. First of all the germination rate was poor and now my only blue fire plant has gone Herme. I removed her from the tent and put her in the corner of the room under a separate light which is going to cost me more money in the long run. I should probably just get rid of her but I don’t have the heart to. I’m not the only grower that has had this problem with blue fire. Very disappointed
Remo Chemo isn’t stretching as much as I would’ve thought at this stage but they look healthy. Had I known I would have let them veg for a couple more weeks.
Too bad the Blue Fire has nuts cuz she looks and smells divine. I don’t know how she went hermie. My environment is on point, feeding schedule is feed/feed/water approximately every third day so I never overwater. Very minimal LST & defoliation during veg only but still went Hermie? I don’t get it
Remo chemo are chugging along and looking healthy. They’re heavy drinkers but still not stretching very much. Blue fire is really starting to pack on the trichomes and she is soooooo sticky icky
Normally the lower canopy of my plants would get stripped clean however this time I decided to leave them more natural with only a light defoliation here and there for fear of stressing them.
Remo Chemo is finally starting to fatten up. Still not smelling very strong but they are starting to pack on the trichomes.
Blue Fire is very pungent & smelling like sour fruit holy cow 🐮
Day 51 & Remo Chemo tent smells like chocolate. Delicious
Blue Fire appears to be finishing quicker than the 70 to 75 days listed by the breeder. Today is 4/20/20 🙌 day 54 in bloom and she looks close to being ready for flush.
Remo chemo is still chugging along nicely and fattening up a little more each day. Still smells a bit like chocolate but nothing overwhelming. Buds are very hard 👌💪
Going to start my flush at the end of the week with distilled water and natures candy by Remo Nutrients.
Day 60 flushed with distilled water and natures candy.
Remo chemo 1 leaves are darkening and quite striking. Remo chemo 2 pheno is not as far along as Remo 1 but smells stronger.
Looking forward to the next week or two. Buds are rock hard 👌👍
Blue Fire is looking like 🔥 indeed. She’s a beauty 🌱 covered in resin with an over-ripened fruit aroma. Striking dense buds .
Day 65 and blue fire has about 20% amber trichs! 😱😊WoW just two days ago trichomes were mostly milky white, didn’t check yesterday and today boom 💥 20% Amber unbelievable 😅
IMHO she is ready for 48 hours of darkness and then harvest baby!
Leaf to bud ratio was good so it took me no time to trim the buds after drying.
Dry weight = 54 grams
I will post a final review in a couple of weeks after my girl has cured
All the best and stay safe everone
Remo Chemo #1 day 68 has begun her 48 hours of darkness. One of my buddies had a test sample and couldn’t believe how potent yet smooth it was so I decided it was time to harvest RC#1 👏 😃
Remo Chemo #2 day 69 is really packing on the trichs. Striking purple leaves are darkening with each passing day. Won’t be long now 😁
Remo Chemo #1 Harvest day 70
Dry weight = 73 grams
Very sticky and loaded with resin.
Sample smoke was smooth yet very pungent, gassy classic kush taste so yummy and very VERY potent.
Can’t wait to try it again after a proper dry and cure
Stay tuned for the final review after curing
Remo Chemo #2 Harvest day 77
Dry weight = 66.5 grams
Dark purple leaves and buds with tons of orange hairs and loaded with frost. Best strain I’ve grown so far. Rock hard nugs, wonderful smooth taste and potent as a motherF@€ker
