Hi all, just wondering your thoughts on the best strain for producing CBD. Looking at sorting some medicinal herb out on my next grow. Afghan Kush I was thinking but open to options. I will be driving over to Holland next week, so will be picking up some seeds. @CANNASIM, @dabcrab. ๐Ÿ‘

@Naguar, Hey bro, now there is an infinity of strains to grow with high CBD many breeders are crossing their popular strains with high cbd phenos to get a cbd version. Long story short the golden grail of CBD available in seeds is Cannatonic from Resin seeds, then Charlottes Webb, AC DC, Harlequin etc with clones if you can reach one. A good one in NL would be CBD critical cure from Barneys Farm and from Green House seeds you can try their block busters in CBD... In auto version RQS offers Fast Eddie and Stress Killer, that are medical, then others in fem version. I choose the Stress Killer and recommend, have a look on the diary if you are curious to see her! Good trip enjoy!!! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป Happy growing!

This is a KILLER looking grow. I see some experience shining through here. Nice job! I am attempting my first "topless" SCROG (trying to bend instead) with 6 different strains right now, of which one strain is Royal Queen Northern Lights Auto. It would be cool if you would follow along and make a suggestion or two. Best wishes on the harvest and tasty bud. - Zannabis7

Hey bro! What is the pot size you are using? For autos is nice to plant directly in the final pot, no transplant. I did this strain too, is on the sensible side, at least for my pheno, check out @clubriot he has two cicles of them. Wait till the soil feels dry +- to the first nucle to water. ๐Ÿ™ƒ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿป Good luck! Happy growing, cheers!

@Naguar, All nice here! Thanks a lot, hope yours was full of light too ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ‘! Nice, the girls are in the game, seams to have recovered, and are starting to flower! ๐Ÿ‘Š So for the neem, always with the lights off, a very diluted amount, avoid pre made mixes. You used as a preventive mesure? In general i prefere avoiding any foliar spray, including foliar feed, I have seen people spraying the girls with blueberry juice for instance, lol, wtfk... You can control if the feeding is on point by having a look in the leaf, if starts to get dark dark green plastic like is too much nitrogen, tips burning show also overfert, by the other hand pale leaves, yellowing are too a sign that they can use some food. A conservative feed cycle would be water > water > nutes, all that depends on how "hot" is your medium too. To the genetics i grew, Water > Nutes worked fine. In the Foxfarm lineup you have to dose carefully the Grow Big and Tiger bloom, they are insanely hot, and acid, I always had to ph up when using them. Usually i use ph6.3. If you have access, one product i'm loving is Real Growers Recharge, it became a base for me in no time, and in my case had great results when using it, you can use the hole grow alternating water or every 15 days. Wish you all the best, happy growing!

@CANNASIM, Hello mate , how was your xmas ? Any tips for me regarding the herb? Just entering the flowering stage as per the news photos? Right now just watering with water and a tiny amount of nutrients , light cycle 20/4, full spectrum, temperature about 28c. And the last week Iโ€™ve made a neem spray which Iโ€™ve been carefully spraying .

@Naguar, so bro to know when to water feel the soil with the finger up the knocle if it feels dry you water. Now for the fert have a look on the foxfarm schedule and cut the suggested strenght to 1/4 then you increase slowly. Only remove dry dead compleatly leaves dont thouch the spotted ones or parcially burnt ones. Less you mess with her the better. Cheers good luck ๐Ÿ€ and happy growing!

They should bounce back with some love in a couple of days buddy. Sometimes accidents happen. I accidentally let the tent get too hot in my grow the other day.

@Naguar, Once there is healthy new growth I'd remove them.

@DabCrab, whatโ€™s your thoughts on the dead leaves ? Should I remove them or just leave them (excuse the pun). Cheers mate.

Hi, how are you finding the Tiger Bloom? I'm thinking of using this soon as only just going into flowering. Looks strong. Bunker :)

Bunkercommented7 years ago
@Naguar, thanks for the feedback. Like you, this is my first grow so I'll be interested what it looks like. Trying to bring her into flowering at the moment, however it's holding back a little. I'm planning on using the bloom once I see better evidence of flowers...whenever that happens Bunker :)

Naguarcommented7 years ago
@Bunker, Hello mate, tiger bloom seems okay, If I am honest I use it sparingly. But my plants seem healthy and flowers grow daily. Obviously this is my try and experts will chime in but the less I have messed with the plant the more they have thrived. Good luck with your grow, looks ๐Ÿ‘Œ.

@CANNASIM. Hello mate, I am just approaching week 9. Some leaves are starting to turn yellow and die, the leaves with buds on look very healthy so I assume thats normal? I was also wondering if I should taper off the nutrients after week 9 and just use PH balanced water? I reckon I have 2 - 3 weeks left until completion. Whats your thoughts ?
JUNGLE_B4RNS
JUNGLE_B4RNScommented7 years ago
@Naguar,yes it is normal, it is called the fade or senescence. Itโ€™s part of the life cycle . It means also you didnโ€™t nuke your plant with nutrients during all life cycle. Yes you can finish with pHโ€™d water, she will use all her stock left in the leaves and the roots, making your medicine smooth and sweet.
