New slow cosby seed sprouted in three days just in the soil with a little bit of water. I don't have any plans yet for this plant. It might be just a mother plant we clone off of.
The seeds were started before the grow room was ready for another cycle of plants. The seedlings had to stay bunched together for 5 days. I ended up doing a small amount of damage to the roots.
Started 12/12 on march 20 2020
I did start before i got preflowers its something i dont normally do but i think i will be ok
Found a dude hanging out with the girls building a breeding room asap
Day 7 i found a second male out of my 6 plants.
Both males have been placed outside and soon one of the female clones will join them.
I found plants C,D and F were males. I chose C to be the one that gets to live because it was first to show signs of sex and was the healthiest one.
week 8
This week i planted all of my clones A1-A4, B1-B3, E1-E2
Male C and A1 are going to breed
Down to just 3 females now. I destroyed 2 of them now i have the strongest in the breeding box along with some female clones.
Training the leaves is not too bad i just need to remember to take the pipe cleaners off before lights out so mold doesnt build up.
I was playing with the yellow filter on one of my pics.
It took about three days with the pipecleaners to get the colas above the fan leaves.
Week 9 started with removing LSLT from A,B and E. LST was started on B and E.
Added an unmeasured amount of CO2 by fermenting 5 gallons of sugar water and yeast.
Buds are getting fatter every day. Some of the pistils have changed to a light orange. Lower fan leaves are now yellowing. Ive got a nice hint of pineapple as well.
This week the heater took a crap. The fermentation stopped and i ran out of sugar so no more CO2. Started watering with 2 tablespoons of leonardite in a gallon of water. All the large fan leaves are yellowing.
It seemed like slow cosby liked to stay in the damp soil. I had to water every other day and i would use 1 gallon jug to water all three of them. My run off water stayed on i think 6.7 ph. I use water from my well and it has a lot of calcium so im not sure how they would grow with different water.
Re veg and clones are looking great I feel they are filling up much better than the cycle before. The temp in the green house has been steady in the 90s a few days of 120 humidity has been in 60-100% range
Spider mites suck I used 1:1 isopropyl alcohol killed most of them. Any bug bites on the leaves will turn brown. Like light burn. Used been oil the next day looks like it worked.

The SBR came out great harvested right when the trichome turned milky white. Very strong smell of flowers and fruit buds have a pinkish hue to them. 3.5 oz dry and trimmed weight
Slow Cosby again not a dense bud harvested when trichomes were 30% amber 5.5 oz dry and trimmed weight
Tangie very strong smell from late veg pollen covered a 11x9 floor.
This is some pictures of slow cosby years later. It has been Bx and is now a humulene machine. Still makes you feel like everything is going to be ok plus now it can get you high AF and that is a huge change from slow cosby v1
