Seed soaked in Oregon’s Only Bigfoot for 36 hours. Then planted in ProMix HP soil, in a cup. Sprouted in 24 hours. I’ve got a heating mat underneath it. With a humidity dome.
She’s filled in her second pot, and it’s about time to top and transplant. Will move her into a 5 gallon pot, which will be her final home. I topped at the 4th node, and she put out 4 growth tips. Mutant! But in the best possible way for SCROG, I’m thinking. 😄
Topped and Transplanted into a 5 gallon Radicle Bag I picked up. Less than half the price of smart pots and won’t mold like fabric pots. We’ll see how they do. I used Bigfoot from Oregon’s Only to stimulate root development, and to lessen any transplant shock.
Just letting her establish her roots. I’ll add the SCROG net next week. She’s a bushy little thing, but has nice thin, fingery leaves. Can’t wait to see what she can really do.
Training her along the SCROG net. Filling in all of the squares, one day at a time. She’s really starting to grow quickly now. The roots are getting well established.
Week one of flower. She is definitely stretching. I gave a small amount of Tiger Bloom. In two weeks I will clean up the bushy leaves. She smells like grapefruit already.
The stretch is just about done. She’s really bushed out, but the leaf spacing is still pretty nice. I’ll defoliate late in the week, to get light and air to the lower buds. So far so good. Should be building some flowers now. I increased nutrients a little, as I’ve not seen any nute burn.
I defoliated the heck out of Miss Cinderella 2 days ago. It’s nice to be able to see light getting to all the bud sites.
Last week I had a tiny bit of nutrient burn at the new growth tips. So I scaled back on the Grow Big and and Tiger Bloom by 1tsp apiece. She appears to be done stretching, though I haven’t been measuring this grow.
Halfway there! I’ve increased nutrients a bit. I pulled a couple more leaves. Just kind of maintaining at this point. Looking at an end of the month harvest. I can’t wait, as I’ve been on a break from cannabis.
5 weeks of flower in the books. She’s putting on a modest amount of frost, and she smells sweet. Not as tangy as before, as she seems to be mellowing out with more pineapple in her bouquet. I want to rub it in my mustache, so I can smell it all day. Maintaining nutes, and waiting until the flush.
6 weeks of flowering down. Not long to go now. I added some Cha Ching to the feeding. She smells wonderful. After taking pics, I used string to add some support to the heavier branches. She’s still got some mass to add yet.
She’s packing on weight. I’ve got so much string holding everything up. I like my cannabis plants like I like my wife: topheavy, gorgeous, and smelling nice. 😄 From here I will just be flushing. I figure on 8.5 to 9 weeks. I hear you want to harvest early, in order to get the psychedelic effect Cinderella is known for, but this first time I’ll err on the side of caution. I’d rather have beefier buds.
Flushed with sledgehammer early in the week. She’s just been getting water since then. She smells amazing and is bulking up nicely. I’ll probably chop soon.
I grew this hoping it would be like the C99 I had gotten in a shop. It’s EXACTLY the same. Sweet taste of pineapple and grapefruit. After a week of curing, it smells wonderful. It’s mostly sativa, so it wakes me up, but it is not an energetic high. It has a slow, dream like quality to it. Inhibitions go right out the window. It is visually and creatively stimulating. I find myself dancing randomly.
Growing her was a breeze. Topped and scrogged. She never slowed down. She was a mutant, growing 4 nodes out of the topped 5th. She got heavy in the last few weeks, and needed a lot of branch support. I harvested at day 63, to let her bulk up, but trichomes we’re all milky at 56. Make sure you’ve got a carbon filter, as she was strong smelling.
I’ll be growing again. This is my favorite sativa.
This strain was everything I could have hoped but hoped for. Good yield. Good flowering time for a sativa. Best tasting and smelling strain I have come across. I’ll be growing this for a long time.
I love your title to your grow. How cultured of you. :)
Also I like the fox farm line...and I see you use the sledgehammer....do you think it makes a huge difference? Can you recall a grow you didn't use it, or have you always used it every time.
@Experimentgreen, Thank you! As far as the sledgehammer goes, I’m not sure if it makes a huge difference for me. I have only been using it the last couple of grows. I always water with 20% runoff, so sledgehammer might be a moot point. Cha-Ching can leave an aftertaste, so I figure it’s better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
@Maria, Thank you very much! This strain should be great outside!
My friend grows outdoors each year, and wants a sativa that can flower quickly. I’ll definitely be getting a seedling or two to her.
@Stinkfox, bushyness is good, you don't want a lot of space between nodes, that's a really good point with the sativa leaves, I bet that helps alot. By the end the buds will be blocking the light to the bottom, I like to do it also to help the coloas ahieve the fatness I like, because when u remove lower larfy non developed nugs the power and light all go to the tops. Absolutely loveing the size tho she is one wide beauty :)
@Wilstang, Thank you! I’m loving the way she grows so far.
I was concerned initially with how bushy she was, but the thin sativa leaves really let a lot of light in, thus far. But there are still 4.5 weeks left, give or take, and you make a good point. 😄
@gennaro_fs, Thank you! I love the way she is smelling. I’m getting so excited for harvest. I got an 1/8th at a local shop last summer, but haven’t had any since. It was such a versatile strain. Good for whatever I might wish to do, whether it be working in my vegetable garden, spending quality time with the wife, reading, fishing, or playing video games. I’m going to get a friend to grow a big one outdoors this season.
I really want to do this strain heard so many good things about it so may have to do this strain on a future run I’ll follow your diary to see how she turns out
@MISS_TRYHARD, I tried some last summer. I liked it so much that I had to order some seeds. So far she has been a breeze. I’ll endeavor not to disappoint. I’m about to defoliate, as soon as I get up off the couch. Though the structure is pretty open so far. The leaves are very sativa.
@Oyziphar, Me too! It smells great! I broke a small branch, so I flash dried a gram or so. Wasn’t even harsh, and had a sweet aftertaste. I can’t wait to properly dry and cure the lot.
@biggreens420, Thank you! I love how much bud she’s putting out. If the smoke is anything like the stuff I’ve tried in the past, this will be a strain I keep in the rotation.
