This grow started with cold temperatures. There is a slight difference in times that these beans were popped but Sorbet has shown most impressive growth so far. I normally plant beans right in the dirt, no paper towel etc. Sorbet sprouted in 3 days and has caught seeds that were planted a week before it in growth. My goal in this grow is to find one keeper, maybe 2.
I started this journal without the two unknown strains. I initially planted in dirt and had to move to paper towel method because of temperature issues so I mixed up some seeds.
There were 4 seeds: Sour Kush, GG4, Blue Dream (Humboldt) and iced grapefruit x 9lb Hammer (reg). The sour kush is dispensary bagseed I have grown once before, it grew very hazy, long flower, great smoke. Gg4 is dispensary bagseed. I have grown a few times, plants have great structure, very potent but not a great yielder. Blue Dream seeds were picked from a plant that I grew out that gave around 10 stress seeds from a 6 ounce harvest. The mother plant came from seedbank as Humboldt Seeds Blue Dream fem. 9lb cross was bred by Kuntry Genetics.
I first edited this journal from the first four strains to include Unknown 1 because it was the biggest of the unknowns and has a smell already. By the end of the day I wanted to include Unknown 2 because of the early coloring. Due to cold temps I know, BUT the last plant that I saw with this early coloring also finished with alot of color (blue cheese from last journal) I suspect Unknown 1 is gg4 because of the smell but who knows. I suspect Unknown 2 of being blue dream or 9lb cross. The mother blue dream had a hell of a stretch (almost 3x), big yielder, potent but it foxtailed like a bitch. I grew the 9lb cross one time before, I screwed up on it so don't remember much, but it was grown in the summer and still displayed purps, and had "interesting" taste. Figured I'd throw them in and we figure it out by the end.
I wrote ALL this while smoking 24k btw. Tangie pheno I would say, very sativa leaning. This much is very not typical of me but this journal is ...Better.
Cold most of the week so changed lights to 24 hrs on, to keep temps above 60. The unknowns and sour d showing signs of stress and low temps slowing down my growth.
Sorbet and Super Lemon Haze looking great. Sorbet is a little taller but slh has more side branching. Planning to wait until they make 6 nodes and top down to 3rd.
I've decided I won't keep a cut of the sour diesel. Doesn't have the resistance of a keeper, but I normally get great seeds from canuk so I'm hoping it will finish strong. The sour diesel will go into flower without being topped on 3/30.
I gave the Unknowns new shoes this week. Unknown 1 was biggest before re-pot. I noticed vigor of roots on unknown 2 when transplanting and it exploded in growth after the transplant. Now unknown 2 is the biggest, unknown 1 and unknown p look stressed, I can understand why. Hopefully we can get some better weather this week. The Unknowns will go 12/12 on the 23rd.
**Just realized I only included Unknown 1 and two the first week. Unknown 2 from first week is unknown p this week and going forward (unknown 2 week2 = unknown p week3). The current unknown 2 is a plant I was not including until it became impressive and shit.
French 🍪 seems to be growing on the slower side but it has been a tough week, we'll see what it does this week.
Took last pics and measurements before the flip. First day 12/12 for the Unknowns will be Monday 3/23. Unknown 2 is the biggest at 10 in., Unknown P 9.75 in., Unknown 1 is 9 in.
Sorbet and SLH are 10 in. SLH has more side branching and a pinch of purple on top. SLH is showing a little burn from last feeding, Sorbet is not. They will be topped in a few days.
I couldn't put the sour diesel in flower yet, it has a thick stem and shows good growth in right conditions, just a lil too picky. I will probably flip it next Monday.

**Update - topped SLH on 2/23. Kept the top as a clone. SLH will go into flower in about two weeks.
Let tap water sit 24-48 hrs ph'd at 9.3. added 0.5 ml of GH PH Down and brought it to 6.3
Great week of growth. The Unknowns have completed first week of flower. I am experimenting with my defoliation with the Unknowns. I normally don't defoliate as much as I should, and I start at the bottom. This time I cut the bigger leaves at the top first on Unknown 1 and 2. Much better light penetration and leveling with the defoliation. I didn't do as much with Unknown P. Unknown 2 took the defoliation very well, almost has an even canopy and never seemed stunted.
Unknown 1 is female for sure. Threw a good preflower. I know it changes every week but it looks to be Sour Kush. The sour kush had thinner stems and long thin leaves. 1 was stunted for a few days after I transplanted but has recovered. I'm expecting alot of stretch this week.
I'm still tryna decode Unknown Ps preflowers. It threw one that looks like it could be a ball and a second that looks like a female (maybe). The absence of balls at this point says female to me. Don't know what this one could be but it's growing well. It is as tall as Unknown 2 but stem not as thick.
Unknown 2 is the biggest and has a very thick stem compared to the others. It looks very healthy. I think it is gorilla glue. It has not shown any type of preflower yet.
SLH is recovering from being topped. I think she had some ph or root issues for a few days. She grew slower and has purple stems but going in right direction.
Sorbet was just topped, looks like a completely different plant.
French Cookies looks like it will be a short, indica type of plant. She is very healthy at this point.
Sour Diesel looks very indica too. Finally recovered from whatever slowed it down in the beginning
The Unknowns are all ladies! They all started throwing pistils towards then end of the week. The 4 horseman are doing good as well. Slh and Sorbet recovered from being topped. French cookies and Sour Diesel are still short.
I was worried about Unknown P being a male from first suspect preflower but next node up flashed pistils a day later. P is now the tallest at 25 in. It is growing in a Christmas tree shape. Expecting alot of stretch from this one, it grew 2 in the day I watered it. Guess for this week is Blue Dream. The blue dream stretched alot first time I grew it. Idk man I suck.
The side branching from Unknown 2 is crazy. I removed some upper fan leaves and this plant evened out it's own canopy. She is 23 in tall, last to show pistils. I'm thinking this one is gorilla glue. Im seriously considering taking a cut.
Unknown 1 is looking very nice, sativa and hazy looking to me. This one is growing more bushy than tall. I would have thought this one was blue dream but the blue dream seems like it would have stretched more vertically than bushy. Im thinking this one is the sour kush.
So I was smoking one on the floor the other night, looked at the label on my trash can and it was 3 gallons. I'm like "fuck" 3 gallon buckets are hard to find plus the rectangle or square shapes may be better with space. This is why Sorbet and SLH are growing in trash cans now. I will flower these out in the 3 gals, flower their clones out in 5 gals and see what works best for me.
Slh finally recovered from shitty transplant. I didn't dig hole deep enough so it sits about half inch too high. Did some LST to open it up. Exact same with Sorbet, shitty transplant and LST.
Did some defoliation and leaf tucking on French cookies, she responded well. She has strong side branching and looks like she will even herself out.
Sour Diesel is finally starting to open up a little bit. I did some defoliation but didn't seem to like it. I'm still tryna figure her out.

Great week! The Unknowns are looking good in third week of flower. Unknown P and 2 are 35 inches, Unknown 1 at 25 inches.
Unknown 1 - very healthy, looks to be slower flowering than the other 2.
Unknown 2 - I have it closer to the light than I need it but still looking good. Frostiest of the bunch so far, looks to be fastest flowering.
Unknown P - tallest of the bunch. Starting bloom nutes heavy this week.
Super Lemon Haze - looks promising going into flower. Has one predominant main stem even when topped, will grow it straight up next time.
Sorbet - starting to outgrow veg tent. Clone finally has roots, going into flower next.
French Cookies - short and stocky, I can't wait to flower this one. I got a few clones from her in the cloner. Going to transplant to 5 gal bucket and then to flower!
Sour Diesel - starting to look better, I'm going to wait until I get some good clones from this one too. I want going to clone but the sour kush (og kush x sour diesel) from canuk was very potent, I grew the og Kush and I think it may have got the kick from sour diesel.
Wow I did it, I sucked again. It's been a busy couple weeks I guess. Alot has changed, all in flower except French Cookies, it will go in when one comes out. Finally made it to the fun stuff.
Sorbet - day 1 of flower was 4/27 so 6 days in. Pistils ain't poppin yet but hopefully it will get a strong start. I am defoliating a little every day. I don't know how but I forgot to get the height at flip.
Super Lemon Haze is at 20 days. It definitely is a polyploid, I hope it doesn't turn out to be a sucky bud. Growth is strong, as it has been all grow, no trichomes yet tho.
Sour Diesel is day 1 flower (May 4th). She is fuckin beautiful at this point. 20 inches going in, so we expecting 40 inch finish..
French cookies is very healthy, not growing much vertically anymore. She has very strong branching. Clones from her have started rooting, she's just waiting for a spot.
Unknown 1, aw man this one is oily and sticky. Light citrus, very fruity smell. Definitely slower flowering, unique bud structure. Flower day 41
Unknown 2 had been identified as Polecat Kush (super skunk x 9lb hammer) bred by Kuntry Genetics. It is a super skunk pheno. Knew it wasn't gorilla glue when it smelled like a sweet skunk, and now the bud structure. It's nice and frosty and will probably fade really nice these next couple weeks. Flower day 41
Unknown P is very pungent, has a foul, sour berry smell to it. I'm impressed by size of buds at this point. Flower day 41
Another great week! Got a couple almost at the finish line and may have found a keeper or two.
French Cookies is still not in flower. She is recovering from calcium toxicity and has almost outgrown the veg tent. Getting her some time in the flower tent and cutting daylight hours to 15 these next couple of weeks.
Sour Diesel is on day 15 of flower, looking like a beast. Evening itself out nicely with some defoliation. Never topped this one and it doesn't look like I will do any training on her for rest of grow. I expected more of a stretch but not mad that she didn't. This one started off slow but could be a keeper, this next week will tell!
Sorbet is on day 20. I just realized how close these two are. Sorbet had trichomes at least by day 19 and explosive growth the last 3 days. I'm thinking this one may be a keeper too.
Super Lemon Haze is on day 34 of flower. Slh definitely suffered from calcium toxicity. I tried to fix by flushing but she may have legitimate deficiencies by now as well. I'm trying to get her back on track in week 5 of flower so we'll see how this turns out.
Unknown 1, aka Sour Kush really matured alot the last 3 days. I thought it would be the longest flowering but now looking like it will finish with Unknown 2, in two weeks. I gave last feed a day or two ago, waiting for them to drink to start the flush. Day 55 flower.
Unknown 2 fattened up alot this week. I gotta find some golf balls to do pics with because that's what I think when looking at the nugs. Planning on running this one again, and much better. Will be finished in two weeks. Day 55 flower.
Unknown P, blue dream all the way down to the nice yield, 11 wk flower and some kind of deficiency, leaf burn that I couldn't quite figure out the first time I ran her but think I got a hold of this time. The lights too close and too much calmag send to be what caused the problems. This one became the tallest for a while so it was within 12 inches of the sp250. Top nug got fat, but that plus my over nuting did a number on some fan leaves. I now have the Sp-250 14.5 inches from the top. She likes that much more and it seems like the buds mature a little faster as you raise the light.
Battling root aphids, got really bad with slh and Sorbet. They are recovering at this point. Used a combo of soaps, essential oils, neem tea and about to apply beneficial nematodes. Will update more a little later
Polecat Kush - pulled her at 10 weeks exactly. She's a beautiful cross of super skunk x 9lb hammer bred by Kuntry Genetics. Didn't keep a cut but will probably do a diary with the rest of the pack to see if I can find this pheno again soon. I gave polecat 48hrs of darkness with before and after pics. Let me know what you think. Can you tell the before and after?
Sour Kush - pulled her at 9 weeks. She just came out of the dryer. Beautiful, cant see the buds through the trichomes. Harvest report coming soon.
Blue dream - just made it out of the dryer as well. This seed came from a hermie Humboldt blue dream, I think that is why this one grew so many bananas at the end. I had to pull her at 9.5 weeks b/c of banners. She is a Haze pheno, just made it out of the dryer, harvest coming soon.
Sorbet (flower day 35) is very frosty, I can't smell her over the others but definitely frostier than the sour diesel who is only 4-5 days behind. When you get close you can smell influence from both parents. I have the root aphids under control now I have to balance her nutrients for a strong finish.
Sour Diesel (flower day 30) is a beautiful beast, so many bud sites. I'm not seeing the frost I was expecting but there's still time. I'm loving her right now. I'm starting to see some purpling.
French Cookies (flower day 7), the stretch is on with her. She got the most veg time so will definitely be the biggest. Started flower at 25 in and caught the sour diesel already. I didn't expect much stretch from her but it's looking like I was wrong af.
Super Lemon Haze (flower day 49) I really hate I messed her up but she is fighting. Buds fattened up alot last week and she's adding frost. Slight lemon smell at the moment. I will be running a clone of her immediately after she finishes for redemption 😤
**French cookies and sour diesel looking very nice today 6/6 so added some pics. French cookies 36 inches, sd a couple inches shorter. I had to raise the light a couple inches for french cookies

Sour diesel is a great yielder and showing nice color. I expected more frost but very nice plant overall.
I screwed up SLH pretty bad. She did develop some thick buds but the heat and humidity from last couple of weeks caused a lil mold so I had to cut one of tops off. This sucks but I ha e a clone waiting to flower as soon as there's space. I will do a redemption diary for her.
Sour Kush! Everybody that hit it almost choked on first hit, caught it, then squeaked out "that's some good shit". Smells like sour fruit, og kush bud structure and a euphoric high where all the stress goes away and music sounds better.
FUNKY! Everytime I bring it out that's the first thing I hear. I definitely got a Haze pheno, smells like lemon funk, so funky it's disrespectful. Strong sativa high and tastes exactly like it smells. High hits you immediately and feels like you're going up on an elevator for like 10-20 minutes then evens out to a happy, social high. Good stuff
Originally Unknown P. She is a picky eater and I had to pull her at 9 weeks because a million bananas popped up. Great yielder, vigorous and resilient, just got to dial in on the nutes.
French cookies is day 31 and frosty af! It is the frostiest in the tent for anywhere close to week 4. 9-10 weeker I think, can't really tell because of the frost. More clones fast 🏃♂️🏾,🏃♂️🏾,🏃♂️🏾,🏃♂️🏾
Sour diesel is day 54. Looks to be 10 weeks for sure, maybe 11. You can see the trichomes getting cloudy. Can't pick her smell out yet
Sorbet is day 59. Trichomes milky, not any amber yet tho. I will chop at 63 days exactly. Smells so freakin good, tangie citrus strong with sherbet finish.
Super lemon haze is on day 73. This one could go twelve weeks but I will chop at day 81. Long trichomes and they are getting cloudy. I chopped some to check for mold, no mold so I've been smoking on that lately. Can't tell ya about it until the review 😜
I had to do an emergency pull on Super Lemon Haze, Sour Diesel and Sorbet because of the heat wave and humidity it brought with it. I only had to pull Sorbet about 4 days before I planned. Sour diesel was two weeks b4 planned but it was actually much closer to finish than I thought. Will plan for 9 weeks next run on her. Super Lemon Haze was very early but still very smokable. Already had a couple nice times with her but will let the rest cure for a couple weeks. I will be starting my redemption journal for slh tonight.
French cookies still going strong. I let her nutes run a little too low before feeding so she's recovering from a K deficiency. Crazy frosty and loud already. Will definitely be around for a while
A great week! Temps came down a little, humidity alot. Fed her well this week, added some koolbloom to the mix and she responded very well. I got her back green for the flush, it should be beautiful. She's at 52 days, pulling her at 9 weeks. I owe ya a full body pic, tonight.
I tried pollinating her but idk if it even worked because I was so worried about contaminating the tent. I want some bx1 of this pheno, then I can try to get some more weight on her. No complaints at all about this strain tho, got another ready to flower as soon as this one is done.
Very nice smoke, long sativa high that's social but not energetic, that ends with a quick nap. No diesel/gas smell, citrus, mangoish smell with a sour citrus taste. Also very, very smooth, rippin the bowl like a pro!
Seriously dank! Strong sherbet, weak tangie on smell and taste. Sherbet, tangie and gas! High hits you in the head right away, very strong hybrid high that lasts a long time. Friends say bro, just grow this. It's a crowd favorite, you will make many friends when you grow this. I will keep this one around for a long time.
French Cookies down to her last few days. I've been watering with distilled for about a week and a half. I plan on pulling her today or tomorrow. Day 65 or 66. I am starting to see some trichs turn amber in pics from a few days ago, waiting for the pot to dry out a little. Definite keeper, got another ready to go in when this one is pulled

She is special. Super frosty, pungent and potent. Sativa high, not racy, just lifts you up, put a smile on your face and says "go have a good time". Smells like rotten cookies with a hint of fruit.
