This time I'm going to track from germination to harvest.
Day 1: 24 hour soak in pH 6 water. No nutes.
Day 2: shell cracked. Planted in soil instead of towels.
Day 5: sprout pushed through soil. Turned on HLG 288v2s from 24 hr light. Concerned tent will get too hot.
Day 6: tent was 88°F. Remove HLG 288v2 and replaced with Mars Hydro 300W led
Day 7: when do I move this to a pot?
Day 8,9, 10: nothing remarkable to report
Day 11: preparing to transplant. Cleaned the tent which get really good. Looks like new. Trying to decide on a 3 or 5 gallon pot for soil.
Day 12: Decided transplant will be tomorrow
Day 13: decided to transplant but then delayed until tomorrow. Instead prepared DWC with 6.5 gallons of water at 372ppm, 6.5pH, 791us/cm or .791ec, 19.1°C using 6.5tsp Gringo Rasta Lickety Split, 3.25 tsp Gringo Rasta Super Sonic Plant Tonic, 6.5ml General Hydroponics Rapid Start, and 1/16th tsp TNB pH Down.
Lesson learned. After your hydro system has been unused for a while, test your connections before adding 5 gallons of water. Minor flood in the tent but recovered rapidly.
Day 14 (this was actually week two): Opted not to transplant as seedling seems too delicate at this point. Switched from 24hr light to 18/6 on/off.
Day 15: nothing to report
Day 20: Transplanted
First week in transplant. Still concerned I moved it too soon. Wish she would stand up.
I've added some water to the medium but not much as the soil around the roots remains moist. Considering switching from the MarsHydro 300W to the HLG 288v2s at 260W.
Day 26: switched from MarsHydro 300W to HLG 288v2 260W. I’m a little concerned that I’m already seeing nute burn on the leaves.
Day 27: moistened the stones with pH6.5 water with no nutes. Added a humidifier to the tent.
Day 28: moistened clay medium with a cup of 6.5pH water. Temperatures fluctuating wildly. Got to 82°F and low in the tent was 64°F.
Day 29: finally getting temperature and humidity under control. I think I stopped the nute burn too.
Day 30: added on cup of 6.5pH water with no nutes. What is happening? Am I under watering or overwatering?
Day 31: changed the dwc. Digital meter read 6.0pH chemical indicated 5.0 range. 383ppm. .814ec. 1 tsp Lickety Split per gallon. .5 tsp Super Sonic Plant atomic per gallon. I swear she was leaning over to the carrot trying to sip water.
Day 32: re-moistened the medium
Day 33: re-moistened the medium
Day 34: re-moistened the medium
I was thinking the brown spots were nute burn so I've only been moistening the clay medium and little bit of starter soil with 6.5pH water. Of course the roots don't reach the dwc yet. Is my mistake in using no nutes? Is this plant under-nourished and thirsty?
Get rid of the tnb down for hydro. I used it and it was pure shit. Absolute shit. It was given to me free and all it did was cost me a ton of money in having frequent res changes and h202 thinking I had an infection, ditched the tnb and used GHE down and problem solved overnight. Do not use anything considered organic for hydro, no matter what the label says. It's just not stable. I think this maybe causing you some issues keeping ph dialed in. I would also immediately start a light feed at maybe 25% of recommended strength and move up from there. She looks hungry.
Day 35-37: fed her. I was definitely starving her. Changed the dwc. Roots!
Day 38: watching the tips and edges closely
Day 39: she’s finally perking up! Less worried now.
Day 40: still feel like she is droopy but otherwise looks good. Wondering if I should trim the lower leafs. Beginning to have that pleasant aroma.
Day 41: nothing to report
Day 42: Nothing to report
Day 43: I need to start using a flash
Day 44: time to change the dwc
Day 45: changed the dwc. fed with 2tsp lickety split and 1tsp super sonic plant tonic per gallon. GHE pH down to get to 5.7pH. 778 ppm. 1.7ec
Day 46: Brown on lower leaves is troubling. They also seem shiny
Day 47: nothing to report
Day 48: really need to start training. Decided to veg 2-3 more weeks
hey there, that's textbook calcium deficiency and magnesium deficiency , you can tell by the way those rust spots are , that's calcium, the way the leafs are yellowing on the edges that's the magnesium deficiency. Nothing simpler to fix, add cal mag and the problem will stop spreading immediately and the plant will completely recover in less than 10 days. However you have another problem which you did identify which is nitrogen excess causing lock out : that you can see from the "too green" aspect of the leafs, but the lock out symptoms are the burnt tips and the yellowing from the veins outwards even though you are actually adding N and it looks like lack of nitrogen . you should really find a more appropriate NPK ratio, in hydro the problem will stop spreading quite quickly once you dial that in. Day 53: Little concerned about nutrient imbalance. Hoping Dr. Repair will help as it has in the past.

Life got in way so I don't have much go say for observations. I think Dr Repair is great! The plant is doing well. It's a dark green compared to my soil grow of light green.
Day 56: New week.

Day 63: Flipped to flower
Day 64: Abused her with supercropping. Broke a large, beautiful branch almost completely but was able to tape it back together.
Day 65: No picture
Day 66: Changed DWC. Added 4 gallon of water.
Day 67: Added screen for scrog
Day 69: Little concerned that the hydro will severely outpace the soil. I cannot have two different harvests. I'm not outfitted for that.
Day 70: No nutes added.
Day 71: No photo. No comment.
Day 72: no comment.
Day 73: Broke several branches and used electrical tape to put them back together. Fortunately, none broke completely off. Was looking great. Fear it outgrowing the tent. Recalibrated the pH meter.
Day 74: No picture, no comment.
Day 75: Began removing some lower leaves. Began tying her down.
Day 76: Adjusted tie downs.
Day 77: Algae was growing in the DWC (I think). Note: The DWC itself is not exposed to light. I have the DWC connected to a second bucket with I use for adding water conveniently. That's the red bucket in the photos. I may need to get in the habit of putting the lid on it. Drained DWC and replenished with 4 gallons of 6.0pH water with the listed nutrients. 826ppm. 1757µs/cm = 1.757ec I added cal-mag even though it probably doesn't need it. Note the reduction in Lickety Split. Overall looking great. I'm pleased with the scrog and wow'd by the number of buds sites as compared to its soil roommate. Day 78: More tying down. Trying to keep the height uniform while exposing as many bud sites as possible.

Day 80: a little additional bondage and adjusted ties for uniform height. Broke one branch and secured it with electrical tape.

Day 82: the break from day 80 may not heal. Will be interesting to watch closely.
I like to take off what i *know* will be trashy fluff... i err on the side of keeping some. So, if familiar with the zone in your canopy where good buds grow, don't cut into that.. miss by more to be sure.
new lights or first grow? be a bit more conservative. I think i have a good example of lollipopping in week 2 or 3 of my GGxWW diary... should see a canopy and lower view too -- it's a flowering plant, not what the diary is about. don't be surprised it's a vege week, lol.
Now, if you mean just below canopy.. .leave that.. the idea of removing foliage is to improve photosynthesis to more areas of the plant to spread reserouces... Resources are somewhat mobile, but less efficient growth will result in the areas with very little light hitting leaves. it will be depending on it being trucked in from elswhere in the plant... not optimal / low priority.
prune anything below teh sweet zone too.. rip off new auxiliary buds about to grow anywhere low on plant... it also improves visibilty when giving a looksy for nanners later too.
i do this when it has 7-10 days left to grow back a bit... the leaves you remove will somewhat be replace, but a bit smaller and by that time the growth should have mostly occured in the other areas to some extent. plus, less blocking going forward still.
Day 84: emptied DWC and replaced with 4 gallons with nutrients. 5.8pH 1832ppm (too high) 3897us/cm=3.897 (too high) too tired to adjust levels. Rolled with it.

I think she’s looking great. Curious about the dark green color as compared to her sister being grown in soil.
Day 98: added nutes. She’s looking good. Starting to look sugary. Sticky enough that I decided to stop any LST for fear the manipulation of the plant would cause more harm than good at this point.

Curiosity question: My tent shares space with this plant being grown in soil. The seed is the same. Germinated at the same time. Very few mistakes or problems with either plant. Both seem healthy. What does the color difference say to you?
For me, it suggests the one on the left has had a higher dose of nitrogen or hadn't needed what it was given, and the one on the right is using more nitrogen and becomes deficient but it could just be genetic differences...

Day 127: eager to harvest but only saw one bit of amber and not enough cloudy. Tent seems a bit hot during the day. Increasing fan speed but wondering if I need to add moisture now.

It depends if it says since switching to 12/12, or since the first flowers appearing.
Your girls seem to have started flowering two weeks on after the 12/12 switch so they might be around week 8-9.
Looking at the trichomes, I didn't see amber, and there are still some clear.
Pistils are brown and looking amazing.
Waiting another week wouldn't hurt in my opinion, at least until seeing more amber trichs (unless you don't want that effect obv)

Day 133: I want to harvest at the same time as the the soil but feel this one is a week ahead the soil. Conflicted as I don’t know if I want to be bothered with a diy dry box.
Day 134: I’m confident this is ready for harvest. Wasn’t able to find amber with the digital microscope but see it with my loupe. Plenty cloudy. May harvest tomorrow (Sunday), Wednesday, or next weekend.
Day 135: Just pictures. Saw more amber last night. Ready to harvest but giving soil a few more days to catch up. Refreshed the dwc with 4 gallons 5.8 pH water with 8tsp Funky Broadway. 5.8pH 791µs/cm = .791ec

Day 141: I’m definitely ready to harvest this hydro. I feel the soil grow is close enough although if I had a second tent or the wherewithal to build a diy dry box that I’d give the soil an extra week. It’s harvest time!
This harvest came in at roughly 2x the weight of the soil grow which was 163g. I find the hydroponic growing easy with a greater reward. My next grow will likely be hydro only with a well trained plant.
