Outdoor grow with Barney‘s!

This week my purple punch, the laughing Buddha, the doctor Grinspoon and my second tangerine dream were born! The other strains are on their way from Linda seeds.

This week I transplanted my babies in 3 l pots. They develop pretty well so far, the Girl Scout cookies from original sensible seeds, dinamed quick cbd and atomical haze from paradise seeds are in eazy plugs right now.

The Grinspoon is 3 days younger than the others, but they all look really healthy and next week I’m going to start fertilising them!

Welcome! My plants are suffering under the extreme heat on my balcony, which just heatens up real badly. But they’ll survive. I topped the Laughing Buddha a few days ago in order to prepare her for the soil I’m going to place her in. She won’t get in a pot, just in pure soil, I want those 100g dried buds from this strain. Hopefully I’ll get it!!😊

This week I started training with my outdoor ladys. They all responded well, the laughing Buddha is now in her soil and the tangerine dream is mainlined. The dr Grinspoon is topped aswell as the purple punch. I will send both into flowering in the next 2-3 weeks. The tangerine dream will receive way more time to grow... I think it’s kinda stupid running one diary for all because im sending them at different times into flowering. Maybe I’ll start a diary for each strain in flowering, we’ll see...

Welcome! This is the last week of vegetation for my dr. Grinspoon! Now the long and hard way of darkening in a room begins, at least until June... the Rest is doing really well, tangerine dream will be topped the next days, so then I’ll have 4 main colas. In 3 weeks or so I’ll top her the last time and then give her 4 weeks of vegetation, so in 8 weeks I’ll send her into flowering! The laughing Buddha is doing well except of one branch which cracked when I tried LST...:/

This week I topped the purple punch several times and removed some useless small branches. Now she’s ready to grow straight up and I’m just waiting for her to catch up the upper branches! Dr. Grinspoon doesn’t show any signs of flowering yet, need to wait a few days more.... when she’s in flowering I’ll start a separate diary for her! Tangerine dream recovered the main lining and will be topped in the next 2 weeks or so Laughing Buddha got topped on every branch and I did some LST to her and will let her live in peace for now!

Dr. Grinspoon grows vigorously strong, next time I’ll place her in a 3 Liter pot😂 But I think she starts developing some tini tiny calyxes now, so that’s cool Atomical haze is fast aswell, tried some HST to keep the upper branches low, but that worked quite bad... maybe I’ll need to top them or I will slightly crack them so they need more time to recover. Tangerine dream started to grow again, and I’ll wait for the next symmetric pair of branches and then I’ll top her again for the last time! Should be in a week or so... Purple punch ist growing exactly how I want her to grow, Weill ne a nice and even canopy! Love the short internodes😍 Laughing Buddha is recovering aswell and starts growing nicely!

Welcome! I defoliated the Grinspoon and the purple punch this week, but hey grow pretty fast so it’s hard to recognise😂 Grinspoon is in flowering now and I’ll start her own diary, sorry for the mess! I’ll let purple punch grow for at least another 3-5 weeks so she will be strong and big to hold many big buds hopefully! Tangerine dream got topped the last time. she has 8 main-Colas by now! I’m aLways happy with the genetic of tangerine dream, strong growth, tasty smell and good bud/leaf-ratio! Try her! Purple punch will be sent into flowering today, therefore I defoliated her. She’s definitely a different phenotype than the last purple punch I grew, so sadly no purple Flowers for me this year Tangerine dream is growing and growing, nice branches on the same height, great genetic! Already smells amazingly😍 Laughing Buddha is still not developing any side branches, do you guys know why she keeps doing this?

Welcome! Last week I saw some brown spots on my plants, it they’re gone now! I mean they’re not growing, the young leaves look healthy👍 maybe it was the heat on my terrace which burned my plants... but the rain the last days may have helped them! My tangerine dream is now packing up branches, really impressive for my first attempt to main-lining! Purple punch is stretching as I sent her into flowering 2 weeks ago (it takes a bit longer outdoors). Stoked about her! Nice compact structure with an even canopy! Laughing Buddha is still not developing any branches, I really don’t like her at this time...

Welcome to this important week of my outdoor diary! The purple punch is in flowering now, not so the laughing Buddha or the tangerine dream, so Still the following weeks will be listed as flowering because I don’t want to separate them again! It seems to me that the purple punch is a purple phenotype, so I’m really lucky with this😊 this year the harvest will be bigger and better without budrot💪 Tangerine dream will be sent into flowering in a week or two, we’ll see😉

Hi! This week I’ve sent my tangerine dream in flowering! Purple punch starts to pack up buds and to produce a lovely smell, same as last year Sadly they all got a bit burnt due to the extreme heat on my Terrace

Was in holidays this week, but all my plants look good. Purple punch even gets some purple leaves, will be a nice colour-show at the end of flowering. Tangerine dream starts to flower now, so next week you should see flowers shooting up!

Welcome to the fifth week of flowering in my outdoor grow for tangerine dream and purple punch! My tangerine dream is amazingly filled with fresh smelling pistils and trichomes, which are growing fast upwards! The mainlining definitely did it’s thing, she’s strong and vigorous in flower-production. Still I need to fertilise her more, last week I was not able to fertilise her because I was in holiday. All in all she seems to be a really stable genetic! The purple punch has a really bad leaf/bud-ratio, all the trichomes are in the sugarleaves but there is nearly no bud-material... still she smells really interesting, and she’s sticky as hell!

Both are fine, purple punch might be in the ending phase, tangerine dream packs up buds in her stacks!

They get a shitload of nutrients by now, but they take it easily! Purple punch is a weak plant in aspects of branches, I hope she’s read y in a week or so. Still the purple phenotype doesn’t give real buds, as far as I’m concerned. Only small bubbles, although she receives the same nutrients and love as all my other plants in my garden!

Purple punch will be harvested this week, damn good smell but small flowers and much cuttings... tangerine dream gets thicker and thicker these days, massive colas are developing right now

Purple punch is harvested and currently drying at 19 C and 60% humidity. Wet weight is 189g. Tangerine dream is easy to handle and got some darker colour of leaves, which is exactly what I wanted while fertilising her really strong. Still she receives a lot of nutrients and I fed her pk13/14 from the third week of flowering. Seems to do well to her!

Buds are really thicken up now, no more growth. She receives a bunch of nutrients still

High! I flushed my tangerine dream today, trichomes are becoming milky and brown. Im looking forward to harvest her next week.

High! It’s so lovely to see her calyxes turn slightly purple now, beautiful genetic. She is by far the most resistant plant to budrot, nothing infected while she stands next to infected plants. She should be ready next week

Welcome to my harvest report on the tangerine dream on barneys farm! I’ve already grown her last year in soil, but this year I put her in an air-pot and tried my first main-lining! GROW: The technique of main-lining was time-consuming. Still I had a decent yield, not as much as I thought, but still good for the really compact size of this plant! She took a pretty long time to bounce back after the first main-lining, but i think I’ll try it again, maybe with an other strain. SMELL: 7/10 The smell is kind of average, a bit fruity and a bit earthy. TASTE: 8.5/10 The taste is pretty metallic with a touch of citrus, pretty cool! EFFECT: The effect of tangerine dream is not as stormy and wild as the last plant ice grown from this genetic, but still it’s a cool high with giggly and happy vibes! Also it makes you really hungry😅 Still the effect doesn’t last that long, maybe a hour or two. I hope you enjoyed this diary of my tangerine dream! I harvested the purple punch way earlier but didn’t smoked her yet, as Ive grown her for my uncle, who loves strong indicas! Hope to see you soon!

Welcome to my harvest report on the purple punch from barneys farm! This is the last outdoor report I’m writing this year. GROW: She grew short and stocky, just as barneys farm described her. Short internodes made me think she would yield a shitload of tight indica buds, didn’t came so! Still she’s easy to grow in vegetation, doesn’t need much fertiliser... HARVEST: The harvest was a tragedy, as there were only small tini-tiny buds with huge calyxes but not a real mass. And i can definitely say that this is not my fault. As I’ve grown this genetic last year quite late in summer, I thought that I just planted her too late. But this year she received full sun, an amazing summer and a shitload of nutrients; still the buds and the harvest was super small. I had the same phenotype as last year; purple in the beginning of flowering turning into something kinda brown when dried and close to nothing purple anymore. So I think that this phenotype is just not able to produce big buds, as my other plants were ALL thriving and building the biggest buds I’ve ever grown outdoors. That’s why I’m kinda dissatisfied with this strain and I’m not going to grow it again. EFFECT: 8.5/10 The effect is perfect for indica-lovers. Strong sedating effect, with a potent couchlock as well. Not my kind of effect but friends and family like it, so I take the rating they say. SMELL: 6/10 The smell is weird. Nothing like a cake with glazed cranberry’s, wtf barneys?😅 it’s more like a spicy oak. BAG APPEAL: 0/10 It’s been a long time I’ve included this categories, and I think it’s all due to my phenotype, as for example @wachsemilians buds look super tasty! But my ones are one of the ugliest buds I’ve grown so far😅 So to put it in a nutshell, this strain is great for people with insomnia, although I need to add here, that Bruce banner #3 from OSS worked better for my uncle with insomnia, so also at this category, purple punch is played out. I hope you enjoyed my outdoor grow this year, not only with tangerine dream and purple punch but also with my Dr. Grinspoon which went super good this year or my Bruce banner which produced the biggest buds I’ve grown outdoors so far!
