The 4 plants from seed developed quickly after germination. They were started in seedling soil in small 0,25 l plastic containers and are ready to be transplanted into bigger pots after three weeks of vegetation at 18/6 (hours of light/darkness).
In week 4 of vegetation the 4 plants were repotted into 11 liter fabric containers, in order to allow the roots to grow further. (they had filled out the small 0,25 liter container already and started growing out at the bottom) The fabric containers allow for more airflow to the soil medium inside and enhance the development of the root ball.
The plants grow nicely after the re-potting and have a healthy green color. The stretch of the plants is developing fine as long as the distance to the LED-lights is kept (100 cm in veg).
The plants continue to develop new flowering sites and the first crowns and clusters are clearly visible all over the plants...they have a healthy green color and are very vivid...
The plants are now filling up and everywhere are new flower clusters. Even in the lower parts of the plants the bud development is excellent, which means the light from the LED-lamps penetrates the canopy very well.
Flowering is now in FULL SWING! The plants bulk up insanely, all colas grow to tremendous sizes over the whole length of the branches. The amount of trichomes produced is getting more and more and the sweet smell of the plants is now very strong.
The size of the colas is getting sooooooo big...I have hardly seen anything like this, the size of each flower-head is HUGE and the plants are still bulking up. There are copious amount of trichomes everywhere and the smell is overwhelming by now. The sweet and musky aroma of the Serious Happiness is everywhere in the closet.
All branches on each plant are now FULL with flower clusters and they start to get ripe, each plant has developed HUGE colas that are busting with trichomes. They start to get so top heavy I had to support the biggest ones with wires (to hold them up)The amount of crystals is INSANE and the smell is now astoundingly strong....I LOVE IT! 😍The development under the SANlight LED lamps is MUCH BETTER than I have seen under HPS...
The plants have entered the final phase of flowering and more of the stigmas start to get brown. The buds are still bulking up and getting more dense. The trichome production is on full power and the plants are sticky as hell. The nice sweet aroma of the Serious Happiness plants is VERY strong and mouthwatering...they get flushed (=no more nutrients, only water) now and show signs of yellowing in the fan-leaves...cant wait for them to be finished...
The Serious Happiness plants performed AMAZINGLY under the Q4W-Generation 1 LED lamps from SANlight. This was a record grow in concerns to harvest weight and the quality of the buds is FANTASTIC. Very stickt buds with a sweet and musky smell...the aroma carries into the flavor and gives a sweet smoking sensation. The Serious Happiness is strong, but not to strong and makes me smile every time i smoke it...truly a strain the delivers on the name it makes SERIOUSLY HAPPY!
The Serious Happiness is easy to grow and delivers AMAZING results as promised by Serious Seeds in their catalogue. The plants grow huge buds with an extreme amount of resin and a mouthwatering sweet smell. They performed VERY WELL under the Q4W-Generation 1 LED lamps from SANlight, much better than under HPS!
