Good morning I wanted to know why the branches of the leaves become purple? Is it a lack of nutrient problem or is it a temperature problem? At night the temperature drops to 17/18 degrees! Thank you in advance x the answer

Hi @Ciore There are certain strains that automatically grow with purple stems, more so when the seedlings are budding, or even once the plants start receiving cooler temperatures during the night. If your plant seems to be in good condition aside from the stems being purple, refrain from making any changes for a one or two weeks. The majority of the time the plants will turn green fairly quickly. Provided that your leaves appear to be healthy and there aren’t any of issues you are aware of, most likely the purple stems are nothing to be concerned about. If you suspect that your marijuana plant may have a nutrient deficiency, maybe because the plant growth has slowed down or the color of the leaves is fading, then your plant could be magnesium deficient. This can sometimes create purples stems. good luck mate 👍

Hi @Ciore I noticed in the video that the veins of the leaves are purple or dark, do you confirm? There is no yellowing in the leaves, it is different from the lack of Nitrogen or magnesium, it is a pale green, it makes me believe that it may be the last state of Iron deficiency, but with this Light it is difficult to have a notion, put the plant out of the grow and do some photos of leaves and branches with white light so we can all see better 👍

Hi Ciore, I’ve read that you’re Tropicanna banana is showing purple/red stems. I am also growing the same plant and have noticed some red stems that only started around week 1/2 of flower. When did you start to notice yours? I think it’s genetic as my girl is really healthy otherwise

Some great colors in this grow. Would you use ice water on the last week before harvest to bring out the color even more?
